Loved the wildness of those trees on your walk. Linda was that frost or snow on the beach, I didn't realise it got that cold near the water (although when we were there in '78 it did snow on Brighten beach early summer...people were coming out of the water a lovely shade of blue)...so beautiful.. I hate our hot summers here and would so love to live in a colder climate. I used to live in Tasmania and we used to get minus 8 deg C in winter.. excellent. Those cold frosty mornings too with frozen cobwebs hanging of the barb wire fences and the robins following you along on your walks...don't get that enjoyment here in WA.. thanks for another inspiring video cheers from across the waves.
Hi Linda, I just discovered your channel. The scenery in your videos and your artwork are beautiful, thank you for sharing. I'm a full time Canadian artist now after completing 26 years in the military as a medic. And like you, my favourite cuppa is Yorkshire!
Funnily whilst watching your video I saw that scene you painted and thought that would make a lovely painting and couldn’t believe we were on the same wavelength! My husband broke his hip last year so I resorted to just painting in my sketchbook. As you say when your life changes suddenly you have to learn to adapt.
Oh my God, what a beautiful sky and the birds that fly on its blue expanse, it is a unique shot, you are a very talented artist both in painting and in creating content. The shots in your videos are amazing, I love them I wish you success and the best for you, my dear colleague💕🥰💖
May I just say that I found this upload quite beautiful. Not just the tranquil and peaceful landmarks of West Sussex that you have shown, but also the music. Watching is certainly an inspiration to pick up the brushes. I am familiar with some of the scenes you have shown. As a resident of West Sussex I have spent many hours in Pagham at the beautiful nature reserve there which offers scenery very close to that shown in your upload. West Wittering beaches are quite stunning but sadly as someone who doesn't drive too far for me to get to try painting there. However I have been told that there are sandy beaches at both Littlehampton and Climping so I will perhaps try there. Once again a very lovely upload, thanks for sharing.
Hello Linda. Just discovered your channel and this video is everything I enjoy. I moved from East Hampshire to Somerset 3 years ago and it was nice to see some familiar places. Also your painting was so beautiful. Hope your Mother is on the mend 🧡
@@lindavineart Somerset is lovely. I’m a little further from the coast than in Hampshire but not too far. We are well placed to visit Devon and Dorset too so we have lots of lovely outings. 🧡
That cafe is one of our favourite stops if we’re on the A272, great cakes! Sorry to hear your mother is poorly, wishing her a speedy recovery and don’t forget to look after yourself too. Remember we are always where we are meant to be, even if it’s not where we THINK we SHOULD be 💙💜 Lovely video.
Hello from South Africa..beautiful and so relaxing..love the barns and cafes and shops too..nice painting you made there from your walking...great video.
Hello from Canada,,,,just found your lovely channel and subscribed,,,,,,I am a watercolour artist focusing on florals . My gardens are my inspiration ! WOW , sounds a little "" Monet "" ha ha ha ! I wish . Just on the cusp of retiring and planning to pick up my brushes again . I work with special needs children full time , am battling some rather challenging health problems , both my boys moved back home last year( and all that comes with that) , 2 needy cats and my husband of 47 years has cancer ! Not much time for the arts pf late . I see 2024 as a transitional year ,,,,retiring end of June , slowing down and making time for me !!! I enjoy your laid back style and hope to aspire to that . Looking forward to watching more ........cheers Cherryl from Canada
Hi Cherryl, thanks so much for your comment. Wow you sound stretched on every side, sounds like you need some time out. I hope things look up for you this year and your husband’s health improves. God bless you, Linda xx
God bless you, and thank you! I’d settled down on the sofa to enjoy your video as usual, when you spoke about tax returns. I suddenly realised it was 31st January and I’d forgotten to pay mine. There followed an undignified scrabble to get the computer up and running, panic followed as I negotiated the HMRC Government Gateway (one of the mysteries of the universe) and debts were duly paid just in the nick of time. Phew! Dodged a ball and chain there! I always enjoy your videos, and I really hope your mum recovers very soon.
Really enjoying your videos! The slow pace, the lovely music, the walks in nature and treasure hunting in shops along the way. I'm smitten!😅❤

Yes there was frost and ice just near the beach 😲

Thanks so much Rebecca for your lovely comments. How is Somerset?
Yes I’ve been in this area since lockdown, it’s lovely being by the coast.
