On a side note, has anyone tried to math hammer the value of movement/maneuverability? Damage ability is certainly important. Maneuverability is critical too for many victory conditions. Having some way to compare not just individual unit movement, but aggregate warband movement could be revealing about unit and list choices. Just a thought.
I've made some stabs at it, and Reedo has done so too. Tough to say anything definitive other than "It's really important." I'm planning on doing some harder math hammer stuff next month and I'll be tackling movement for sure.
Hey Dan! Was wondering your opinion on Tzeentch Arcanites? I am absolutely loving them and I was wondering what a strong melee focused list for you would be?
I like the Tzaangor with Great blade and the Tzaangor with Savage Blades. The Enlightened Aviarch and the Fatemaster are both good leaders. So I'd pick 1 of those two and fill the rest out with Tzaangor. I like the Kairic guy with the scroll, but if you want melee you can skip it.
Not sure. I got an email about it but when I went to respond it wasn't there. Either way, that's why I didn't suggest any ranged stuff in my OS guide, OS on shootcast was gross for the first couple months of the game.

Alternatively you could try using the Ogroid Thaumaturge. If so be sure to include an acolyte with bird, to force your opponent to fight the ogroid.
