- Tuesday’s Blue spotlight on BB King! With some help from my buddy Artur Menezes. Great insight to the king of the blue via Art, a well celebrated musician in his own right!

Damn Nik, that BB tone was killer!! Awesome.
Great upload, Nik. Always great to remember BB and it's good to see Art on here. I'm a big fan of his.
Cheers
Awesome video. Not just for B.B. King style playing, but also in general. Thanks!
Great video! He was amazing. Felt like I was seeing a true legend when I saw him! Even got to go on his bus one time! Amazing!
Great video Nik, loved Art’s explanation and demo’s of some of the nuances that made BB’s playing style so great and definitive. What comes across with the Tuesday’s blues features and the channel overall is the humility that you and all of the great players and friends that you feature have regarding their own ability and knowledge. The love and enthusiasm for the music and what you all do, and the willingness to pass this on and share it, creates a great sense of ‘community’ on the channel. Keep on, keeping on!
WOW , REALLY GREAT THANKS FOR SHARING WITH US , THIS GREAT LESSON
Live at the regal is a killer BB King album. As great of a Gibson ES-335 tone that he had. His tone was cleaner and less aggressive in the studio compared to live. The one album I found with with the more raw distorted live tone with some amazing tracks. And a really great Latin bluesy instrumental was on a must get album. Spotlight on Lucille. I highly recommend this one.
Thanks Nik, Art is a killer player been watching him for a while now and and he is only going to get better
Great playing brother. Your BB vibrato is on point.
BB can actually make me cry he's so soulfull
I took some Skype lessons from Art and it changed my playing drastically in a very short time. 1:1 with such an amazing player like Art unlocks so much. He's extremely patient and such a friendly guy!
Hes a great player and person!
My choice cuts from the Cooke County 'How Blue Can You Get?' and 'The Thrill is Gone'...another great on Nik!
Outstanding!! 🤩🔥🔥 Art is a killer player and we’re huge fans of him... 🤘🙌
Man I really love this series Nick, thank you
Fantastic!!!
B.B King was the G.O.A.T
And Artur is also “next level”
Thoroughly enjoyed this and learnt so much
You's can take your pick & pick your lick...
Thanx Nik & Art...
cheers again
Thanks for this video! Great info and insight..
This is so valuable!
Artur was a great choice for BB!
Awesome nik would love to know what kind of stuff you practiced when you started playing as u became a really great guitarist in a very short time
Nice to see the black 335 back in action. How does it compare to the Trini Lopez? I smell a comparison video!
Nik, I've been absolutely loving this series! Really informative, both with regards to the history of the blues as an art form, and improving your playing and approach. I've seen a few records hanging around your room and you talk about them every now and again; any recommendations/must listens you advise?
Oooo by golly that opener would've sounded SOO much cooler w/o all that reverb...
Geeze, I had ta gets me a TOWEL an' dry meself off...
Nice licks though, and I've always dug Art...
thanx and cheers
Hi Nik have you listened to the spotlight on Lucille record? It's an instrumental one has some of the best playing ive heard thanks
Hey What amp are you playing through, I've been in the market for a black face fender but i just can't pull the trigger because i can't play through all i'm looking at, i was looking at a mid 60s pro reverb, a deluxe reverb, i go back a forth on the super reverb, Then i i took a peek at a 59 bandmaster,57 bandmaster RI, 60 concert, as you can see i'm having issues nailing it down, any suggestions ??
Deluxe reverb is so versatile!
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 Thank man, Stay safe.Peace!!

BB’s style is hugely influenced by Lonnie Johnson
