Breathtakingly beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing your outing with us. So glad the wind worked in your favor. Your adventures bring back special memories of our canoeing trips of years ago. We truly appreciate your videos!!! Stay Safe!! Hugs to Penny and Bella!!
Penny and Bella really enjoyed themselves! The scenery with the snowy mountains against the lake just priceless! I would love to do that! Thanks for another great adventure!😊
While watching this vid today, it just struck me how lucky we are to be able to enjoy the Tahoe basin on a regular basis. A side note....When I was a young man back in the late 1960's, none of the buildings on the Northwest side were there, but Fallen Leaf is still a beautiful lake. As always, ty so very much. Safe Travels. Oh! Penny has such great spirit. I think I'm in love. LOL
Hey there, Good question! Probably the easiest would be from the campground on the north side of the lake but you need to find parking. You could also drive along the east shore and there are a few parking spots on the very south end of the lake to start from. We started from the west shore and hiked on a public access trail to start but it is a bit convoluted. Hopefully that helps
Thanks for this video. Hard to believe it's been 50 years since I was there. Asked my girlfriend at the time to marry me there, hah...but she said No. Nice to see the cross on Tallac too!

I hugged a sequoia somewhere in that campground. 😁

We recently moved to South Lake Tahoe. Where do you recommend putting into Falling Leaf Lake? Thanks
