- When Chase Smith was born in 2001, he never could have predicted the roller coaster ride his life would take him on. And in 2020, that roller coaster went to extremes on both ends - the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. But through it all, the Smith family has never lost Faith. They have never given up Hope. And they have continued to Love above all else.

“You’re right god he’s not mine but you can’t take him” I am not religious at all, my heart breaks for this mother :( I don’t know what it feels like to speak to your creator like that, but I do know why it’s like to love my son, and I wouldn’t make it if anything happened to him.
God isn't religious either. It stinks. He wants relationship restored with His creation - not performing robotic rituals and meaningless repetition of mantra. God is a person with emotions. Not only does He love the world but "SO LOVED."

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
God can carry you though anything. Prayer can move mountains and God is never late, or early but always on time.
Amazing story of true faith in a heart that believes when death is knocking at his door. God is greater!

I admire the strength that faith gives people. When my fiancé died, any possibility I had of believing in a higher power went with him. I’m okay with it. But I can imagine having that faith will help them get through him potentially passing. Death seems so incredibly unfair, but the fact that those people were in our lives at all was good and our lives are better for them. Even with the pain.
So tughed by your faith and love for your family may God watch over you allxx

Chase Smith died April 4 at his home with family and his beloved Sadie by his side. He was 19.
He died April 4th 2021. Went to be with the Lord.

Life is all about love. Lotta people live a lengthy life never finding love. This man found it! At a young age. He's one lucky man. If I live to 100 and never find true love, I'd rather live to 19 finding love in a heart beat. So ya. I'd switch places with him any day of the week! And Twice on sundays

Thanks for your honesty, Virginia. Believers, at 1 point or another, have gone prodigal on our protective, providing, loving, forgiving Father. I took my own faith failures as stepping stones towards maturity. The more I struggle with pain and problems, the more my eyes awaken to the reality of God's word. Yes running back to God is life-saving but where's the road map? The Bible verses below gave me clear GPS directions straight to His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise:

Just believe that God has a plan and purpose for each person's life. Jesus will never fail. We will remember chase in our prayers. God will strengthen him to overcome this. Our Almighty God is greater than any other sicknesses like cancer or covid of this world.
