the way we did it was , while someone teleported to baal and cleared the waves , someone else cleared chaos sanctuary while the 98 teleported to nilhatak, then quick jumped to kill diablo then it was time to kill baal , only the 3 top levels were allowed in baal's room and had to be over 96, you had really good exp that way.

There’s also a 25% bonus in exp just for doing TZs.
Only streamers that had people working for them would be able to get to 99 before. With TZs it still takes an absurd amount of time if you dont have friends to play with, but at least it went from completely impossible to possible.
i liek all the icy caves like the ancients way and such, i like the atmosphere. XP is mid, but you do have the little vessels to pop for more rare/elite packs

I love the ice caverns! The only things in there i don't like are the succubi.
I've gotten to 99 with terror zones at low player counts and a lot of the zone tier lists are bad. The general rule is if there are a lot of monsters and or champ packs it's a good zone. If you can do act 5 well it's usually good.

I will never do a level 99 grind. Ever!!
Experience penalty is quite annoying. Without any exp penalties at all 98-99 would be only few baal runs.
I always reach lvl 94-96 , I have never been 97 or more.

I got to level 99 hardcore single player pre terror zones, even with a hammerdin the level 98-->99 grind was around 150 hours on its own doing p7 diablo, it was rough

In conclusion, just do Terror Zones, like... always. Better drop chances and way more experience

When the terror zone is blood more or cold plains or maggot lair. Do you guys even bother with it? I find it tedious and not worth while at all if there's no good mob density or if it's a place that's annoying to navigate. I pretty much do Baal Diablo and cows tz... I wish it was always cow

So what if youre level 80, is it still x10 the exp?
The conclusion is pretty obvious but I would suggest doing more then 1 attempt at each zone to see what the average experience is. Just one attempt in chaos sanctuary shows massive difference in the experience between TZ and non TZ zones but it's not enough. If you want to see more realistic numbers do at least 10 runs each or more and then compare the resulsts. Time per run, dencity of the monster packs matters for the final conclusion.
Who cares, the difference between TZ and non-TZ is so huge that we don't need a sample.

Good day, I need some advice. Can you please help me with my question. Because i was trying ask in fb groups but no one answer me. I am Barbarian double swing level 94 offline. Arreat face, fortitude, 2x grief, nosferatu coil vampirefang belt, laying of hands, gore raiders boots, raven frost ring, ATMAS SCARAB AMULET. and now my question: I use atmas scarab because of amplify damage. When I start to show damage, there is a 5% chance that I will cancel physical resistances and even stoneskin gold enemas drop quickly. Actually, everything falls rapidly faster, if of course I install amplifiers. With groups of enemas, the amplified infection spreads to the whole group and that's fine. The question is: I use MERCA ACT2 MIGHT. I want to make him a runic weapon, but I'm confused as to how it would be suitable when I use AMPLIFY with the amulet. There are possibilities of infinity, pride, reapers toll, but I don't know which has basically the same effect as amplify, so it would be useless. I understand 100% that pride has an aura that increases my damage, I understand that. Reapers toll is I think Decrypty and I think infinity also reduces their elemental resistance, which will be the best if I use atmas scarab amplify actor would you recommend me? basically curses overwrite themselves and auras not( there is exception for example conv auro overwriting from ubermephisto->google)
if you procd ampdmg and merc afterwards procs decrepify from reapers toll, your ampdmg is gone. On the other Hand you can give ur Mightmerc insight/infi, all those auras work in addition to a potential proc of ampdmg.
I would also say that farming items is much easier in TZ

Glacial is a great terror zone. Lots of mobs
