Dear Bot...with all due respect.. only my wife can call me stupid 😉
It looks like a sweet piece of equipment. Thought out very well! Hopefully they forget you have it.
hahaha, have what? shhhhhh : ) - Mike
Congrats on 100k and the new partnership. Thank you to you and your family for what you do to feed the USA and educating us about farm life.
Thank you for your part as well Jerry, without folks to help us by watching and sharing we wouldnt be here. - Mike
You forgot to give the kids shots and branding. That's awesome that someone heard you and sent help your way.
Thank you very much - Mike
Nice equipment and awesome you are able to try out products like this. Its a win for all including us. 👍
I really do hope so thank you - Mike
I bought that portable system about 5 years ago.......it's by far the best improvement I've made to my facilities, my vet uses all brands when he travels and said nothing works as well as my arrow equip portable system..... you'll love it!
Fuzz B
Who is the vet that said that? Not even close to “nothing works as well”
@@bradshultz8385 he's up in Saskatchewan, Canada...
I have Arrowquip system with bud flow tub and Q86 headgate and squeeze chute. You are going to love it!!!! Our vets love it too!!!
As a retired individual I have lots of spare time to spend on the internet checking out all the things I have missed. In doing so I ran upon your channel and became totally engrossed. I subscribed and now trying to watch the many previous videos you have posted. I'm learning about ranching.
Thank you very much -Mike
Congratulations on the 101K subs guys! You guys are awesome ! Thanks for taking us along with you today Mike. Have a blessed week!
Thank you Tricia - Mike
I have one ,best thing I've done for my cows and myself!!!! My old chute was worse than yours !!!!!!!! Working cattle on my own is easy, they flow through, just slide back door in she comes. Plus my vet doesn't frown when I ask him to come out 👍 great videos great channel! Congrats
I have gotten those vet frowns, know exactly what you are talking about. Thanks Simon - Mike
Simon Fisher ditto - Vet doesnt mind coming out now
Your channel deserves this. It is a real honest family run operation on multiple fronts. Cattle, gardening, pigs, chickens. I wish you the best in continuing this success.
I came across your channel by accident. I was captivated. It brought back many memories. The only other thing that has had that kind of impact on me was chatting with Temple Grandin. Some of the memories were good, but I can't remember those. The bad ones are of getting up at dawn on a winter morning and putting out hay for cattle who promptly stomp it into the snow. That was a while ago. Now I'm selling the little ranch and someone is going to build homes on it. I will tell you that when I got up from my computer I habitually checked the bottoms of my shoes. Old habits die hard, it seems. Thanks for your channel.
Wow! What a fantastic opportunity for the ranch to try that out, and for the company for the exposure. UA-cam has really helped the ranch in funding, cool gifts, and now big equipment.
really good and wholesome to see people on a ranch and too see you living on a ranch, and making a little extra money doesnt hurt either
Mr. Mike, I got to look over that same setup two years ago in Great Falls and was extremely impressed with the thought that went into the design. The greatest feature I saw that a lot of people won't notice being a huge asset it the anti-laydown bar in the floor. We always castrated in headcatchers and that was the biggest problem was calves trying to lay down. The neck cradle feature was sweet too. A good headcatcher is important equipment for a 1 or two person operation. I think you will enjoy that fine piece of machinery Mr. Mike.
Morning Mike and Erin
Congratulations on your 100k
Wonderful great handling system. Thank you for sharing
Enjoy your Sunday. Be Blessed 🙏😇 ❣️
Thank you so much Felicca - Mike
We bought an Arrowquip Q-Catch last year, it is well designed, high quality equipment.
👍👍👍 You hit the jackpot this season Mike. You've got a new toy to play with for a while. Have a great day.
Thanks Larry - Mike
So happy for you! Congratulations!!!!!!
Well it handles children really well😀
What an incredible system.
hahaha, it sure does. Thanks Fiona - MIke
That is one awesome cattle chute. And with a wee bit more practice, Lincoln will be handling that headgate all by himself. He's going to be a cowboy!!
Great video! And one of the most honest and well explained partnership videos I've seen in a while. Looking forward to the next one!
Glad you got something to help make things a little easier.
Lincoln is all ready for work!!! so cool that all of your children are ready to check it out, no fear there
The co-op I used to work at down here In Virginia sold that brand. They are a really well made chute, alley, and tub system.
That’s Truly Epic!! The Arrowquip will obviously make the ranchers and the cows lives much easier!! With its ergonomically round gates, The cattle will have a much less stressful experience. I saw a documentary many years ago where it explains that cows get stress pretty easy when being moooved. Yes pun intended. Well anyway I hope this makes life much easier for all involved and can’t wait to see it in action.
MOOVED! Thank you so much - MIke
Mike...that thing is awesome! When l think of all the times growing up,chasing cows, herding them into shoots....that sure would have helped tremendously! I hope you get to keep it for some time...l might even say I hope Aeroquip likes your opinion so well they gift it to you...(hint hint Aeroquip...they deserve it!)....best wishes🖒
Thank you so much Sharon! I can guarantee that they are reading comments :) - Mike
Thank you for another great video. Congratulations on the partnership with, hopefully it works great for yall!!
only time will tell, thanks Chris - Mike
I am so happy for you guys. I started watching this channel evolved from under 10,000 subscribers to when we hit 50,000 and finally now 100,000 congrats!
Mike is always running around the country!!! The ranch life can seem so demanding, but the rewards of understanding, health, and freedom makes it all so worth it!!! 💪 Video Mike!!!
Nice cattle handling system you've got there Mike 👍it also reminds me of a a woman called Temple Grandin ? Who knows her stuff when it comes to cattle handling and can't help but thinking she had a hand of thinking this system up.
Probably did. Thanks - Mike
Ms. Grandin pointed out the calmer handling of livestock in their processing. Many cattlemen and women have stressed this over the years. Everything from roundups, moving cattle, separating etc. All makes good pointers and makes for easier handling.
You'll like it, we had one of the 86 series for 2 years. Works great for cows but we also handle 300-500 bulls each year, needed heavier with hydraulics to handle the pace and strength of the bulls.
I was wondering about putting bulls through it. Not even sure they will fit :). Thanks Dan -Mike
The bulls fit, up to around 2200, the chute holds them. It was just the volume, manual wears you out after about 25 or 30.
I have to admit, I don't have a clue how this works, or it's purpose. But now I'm interested in finding out, and looking forward to the next video.
I watched all of the two commercials, I've heard that helps out a little, but I don't know that to be certain. Thanks, JohnG
Thank you John, that does help! Thank you - Mike
Lincoln already knows how to use it. lol
oh yea, he was right out there ready to go. Thanks Rodney - Mike
I’m glad someone showed how it holds the cattle. I don’t run cows, but my cousin mentioned how hard it is on his cows when one of the heads closes down on the top of the neck compared to scissor style that closes on the sides. Interested how this one does with your cows.
Mike, you absolutely need to do audiobooks or have a podcast man. Your voice is super awesome for those!
Congratulations on 100K. I have been a subscriber for a while now. Not really sure how long. I look forward to each video. Your story and the realities of ranching has given this city boy a new perspective on agriculture.
That's a beautiful piece of equipment for the ranch.
I hope this will be a permanent solution to many farm issues. Good luck in your new experience.
As a landscaper I have 4 trailers some as short as 12 feet and all of them have dual axles. I can't believe something that big only has 2 wheels. Hasn't happened often but I have been thankful for those other 3 tires more then a few times when something bad happens.
Trust me, bringing it home was a little nerve racking. It really wasn't made to pull long distances and I had to keep speeds pretty low. Thanks - Mike
Looking forward to seeing the system in action. Thanks Mike.
your videos warm my heart. I love that you are getting the young ones into farm life. Keep it up. Hard work is always blessed by god.
This is such a wholesome channel :) I feel 150% relaxed after watching 12 minutes of this :)
looks safe and will help the cows nice
Wow. That's a serious piece of hardware! Way to go.
It is, thank you - Mike
Mike it looks like you have a new toy.Awesome! So cool of you to let the kids check it out to. Have a great week.Godbless
The Q catch looks like a great piece of equipment and Lincoln is already figuring out how to use it. Congrats on the 100k subscribers and take care.
Congratulations on your partnership with Arrowquip Mike. They picked a good partner.
Congratulations!!! 100,000 and counting!!!👍👍👍🇬🇹🇺🇸
Wow that is beautiful you're going to get a lot of use out of this one for a very long time,,, work smarter not harder
For sure, thank you ! - Mike
Congratulations to u and the new partnership.
Pretty neat, should be a huge improvement, Great there are companies that let farmers like you, ryan, Wes, and the others test their equipment, can't wait till next week to see how it works out
Super cool to get sponsors. Farming is rather hard. It’s got to add quite the choir to it to film it also.
I’m from southern Alberta and I’m glad to always hear the shout outs to the university of Saskatchewan on the old system !
That appears to be a well built, well thought out system.
That looks slick!! I'm heading out to find a website about them, I need to see more! I have not heard about ArrowQuip until now and they are definitely on my radar now for cattle handling equipment.
Thanks for sharing Mike!
Congratulations...
Thank you Alton - Mike
Very nice equipment
I agree, lets put it to the test :) - Mike
We've got a Q-Catch as well. Not only makes things easier but MUCH safer for cow and cowboy. Working cattle is the most dangerous thing we do here. Always thought these were too pricey. After more close calls than I can count I had an epiphany. If I get hurt working with my old chute what's that gonna cost me? If my wife or kids get hurt I'd never forgive myself for skimping on such important equipment. So here we are. Much safer. BTW, these aren't disposable chutes. They're built like old tractors. At some point I'll sandblast and repaint. I'm 43 yrs old and pretty convinced this is the last chute this farm will ever need.
That equipment looks awesome Mike! After using all types of different squeeze equipment, it looks as if someone sit down and designed a working system that cattlemen can use, plus the mobility factor makes it even more enticing for working cattle. Get it used and dirty with a thorough review for us all. We're waiting.
I need one of those...they work great
A few years ago I had a cow slip in my chute go down and only way out was cutting torch. I started looking for a new chute that sides could open (without torch). After looking at price tags on 6 or 7 brands I took the welder to the old one! I thought anything built heavy enough and has the goodies was sky high price. Last year I saw an arrowquip. I thought at the price it'll be junk but looks very well built. My old one still works but now I know what I want when it comes to it.
Congratulations OWL for 100K subscribers. And thank you for each and every video you, Erin, and the Children have shared with us. As always, OWL is full of hard work and awesomeness! Wishing you all much success. BTW, I admire you for always making sure your animals are taken care of best possible way. Love it.
FINALLY, I've always wanted you to be able to sort & treat cattle in the field!
Next step, "EasyWean" >:-)
My favorite memories as a kid was running through the cattle corrals
Fantastic addition to the ranch, Mike! Now, like you said, go get that thing dirty! Fine gesture by Arrowquip, they will get good, honest feedback and exposure from you guys !
Congrats on 100,000 subscribers
Thank you Zach - Mike
Some times good things just happen, for good people, congrats on the chute and hitting the 100,000 mark!
Congratulations on the 100,000+! Love your show.
You make the simple things very entertaining
Awesome piece of equipment Mike! Looking forward to seeing how well it performs for your cows and you...!!!
Me too!! Thanks Susan - Mike
What a great setup love that it’s transportable
This thing definitely needs 4 wheels on it. Can’t wait to see you put it into action! Good luck with it hope it works out well for you.
Looks like a good peice of equipment. Going to make life a hole lot easier for you. Keep up the good work.
Very cool, my insight is summed up in this thought, "FINALLY".
Australian here, currently in Manila in the Philippines opening up a new branch of my company - looking at buying a couple thousand acres back home to start my own farm, got to say I enjoy this channel and appreciate the frank advice.
Thank you very much - Mike
Congratulations on 100 thousand and the new equipment. I hope it works great for you
Beautiful equipment u r blessed.
I agree, thank you - Mike
We also have the same Arrow Quip chute. You will love it!!
A very interesting video and congratulations on 100,000 subscribers
That's pretty slick. And they've asked you to try and break it? I gotta see this!
Looks to me straight away like it's going to need a lot more clearance to go field hopping, or big skid plates.
I thought the same thing. Its gonna have to go through a few ditches. Thanks for watching - Mike
Looking forward to seeing it in operation. Good job Lincoln! I see your learning too! Loved how Lincoln showed us how effortless it was to operate. Great video as always!👍
I was speaking to my laptop saying: Hey Mike look behind you... hahaha. The children are so adorable.
Congrats guys! I'm happy Arrowquip decided to reach out and hopefully this will be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Now go get that thing dirty!
Wow!! That's a nice piece of equipment. Looking forward to the real world testing and review.
I've been looking at Arrowquip for a while. Would love to have one, but they are expensive. Maybe one day.
Mention OWL and see if they knock off any $.
Thats not a bad idea :) Thanks guys - Mike
looks nice....thank you Temple Grandin
Thanks for watching - Mike
Awesome !!!
Can't wait to see it in action
I'm chomping at the bit myself :) - Mike
Hi Mike, nice looking shoot system can't wait to see it work. Thanks for the video
Me too. Thanks Gary -Mike
Looks like a nice setup.lm ready to see it in action. Have a good week.
Having worked in Emergency Management I have been forced to work with cattle in Emergency and Disaster situations. We are lucky that our regional group purchased a set of portable hydraulic operated corals and chutes as we have unfortunately had a few transport accidents that required roadside setup as well as flooding that required evacuation of cattle.
WOW...That's a "Big Green Monster" for sure! When I was a kid in Montana we worked big herds seems like for ever with nothing more than a rope and a chute pulled behind a pickup! we were an "AI" ranch (Artificial Insemination) just marker bulls on the place, so every cow on the place had to go through the chute at least two times a year no matter what. Waiting to watch the video on how it works. Keep up the good work Mike, love the video's!
Thank you Ken - Mike
wow that looks amazing im glad you get to try it out good luck Mike and i hope Erin's store is going good hugsssss from Ontario Canada
Wow, awesome Mike. When I was a young man I worked for a company that sold Aeroquip hydraulic hose and fittings. Their product was the best in the industry. This thing looks to be the same high quality. Good luck!!!
We had an Arrowquip squeeze chute. Biggest POS ever. Broken handles, cattle hip locked in head catch, broken bolts, hard to squeeze the cattle tightly. Traded it off for a Silencer. Best move ever made. I would even take our wore out Pearson over an Arrowquip.
Very nice ! Love this channel and the views .. my dream is to come out west some day ! Yall living the dream.
Look forward to it. That landscape reminds me of Rock Spring to Casper to Denver.
That is awesome. Your going to love this machine. It will make your life so much better and easier on your cattle. I used one of these not by the same manufacture but same design At a ranch i worked on Arizona... and 100k subscribers good for you and your wife you guys do amazing vlog keep up the good work.
I have been infatuated with one of these at our local dealer for quite some time, don’t tell my wife.
Looking forward to this review, way to go Arrowquip!
lol your secret is safe with me!
Lol hunny, this is tied into my iPad, and even though I am in Florida.... I still see the checking account
Awesome tool for you. I hope it works out.
Congratulations good luck
Good video Mike and im happy for you can't what to see you put that thing to the test
