Hi Marlene. I'd like your opinion. I have never bought/worn a wig. Now in my older years hair thinning to the point of being see through on the top and I am considering trying wigs. I live on the beach, it is windy here. Also I have a Jeep and that is a windy ride and I usually wear a hat. My natural hair has always been very fine. Do you think Cardiff is a good choice for my first wig experience? I really appreciate your opinion. Also, my eyebrows are very light. I am blonde/gray, very light. Do I need to match my eyebrows or get micro bladed? TY again! Have a beautiful day!
Hi Robin, thank you for visiting! While I love everything about Cardiff and would certainly recommend it as a first wig, I think that a regular synthetic style may fit your lifestyle and environment a bit better. Elite Mono by Ellen Wille is a similar style to this one, no permatease at all (you can easily wear a hat with it) and the density is very low. I showed it in my recent wig haul. As for matching your brows, this is pretty personal. If you think you'd feel more comfortable matching your brows, then go for it. My opinion on makeup, wigs, etc is that we should all wear whatever makes us feel confident and beautiful. We don't need to follow any rules. If you really want to get micro blade, make sure to seek someone that has a good reputation with this procedure. xoxo Marlene
What is the difference between the Lux and the City collections? Lovely style thanks Marlene 🩷
Hi Clara, all the styles from the Lux (Luxury) collection have 100% hand-tied cap, full mono top, and extended lace front. The styles from any of the City collection (named after cities) have a weft cap, mono part (most are left part but there are a few with center part), and extended lace fronts including the styles with bangs. Each collection (City, Lux, and Cafe) have their own color selection. Hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

So glad you mentioned fit. It's not enough to hear that a wig might fit up to a 22.5" circumference head. The other measurements are just as important. My ear-to-ear is 13.5" and my forehead to nape is 13". That's in addition to my 22.5" circumference, and that's why I don't own a wig that I both truly like and can "truly" fit into. This wig probably wouldn't fit me, but I love the length. And I think you look great in both colors. Your olive skin makes the light blondes really pop. Thanks for another perfect review. 💕

Hello my beautiful friend. This is my favorite BT as of today. I have it in raw sugar as youve seen. All 5 of my BT are in raw sugar. I tend to lean neutral to warm. Do you think i can pull of milkshake blonde? Id say im fair with some pink to my skin and green eyes.

Okay I'm a little confused but I haven't had coffee yet so that probably explains it... Is this wig the same that's in the city collection or is this the British collection which I think is new... I think
Hi Vickie, in Belle Tress, we have 3 collections: Cafe, Lux & City. Under the City Collection, there are collections named after cities in different countries or states: NY City, CA City, Spanish City, Italian City, and British City. Shirley has Belle Tress has them listed as the 3 collections as well as sub categories under City Collection. Other retailers may have them all under Belle Tress. Does the nape hug the neck as it seems to do in Montecito and Malibu
Yes, Cardiff has the same cap as Malibu and Montecito. It'll fit exactly the same. In my experience, Belle Tress is pretty consistent with their fit and colors. xoxo Marlene
