With your amazing and addictive videos, you make us feel like we were really there. No catchy sentences, no poignant music. Just the steps and the silence, as it should be. Thumbs up!
Now it’s autumn again, we enjoy watching this video with our pumpkin spice coffee! Very cosy! We love revisiting your beautifully made films and immerse ourselves in them by watching them all on our widescreen TV. We feel as if we are there doing the walk ourselves. They are uplifting, interesting and so peaceful. Thank you. Wishing you a lovely autumn. Best wishes from Wendy and Geoff Brighton UK
This is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for not putting music. Currently going through some tough times and I'm stuck at home, and this video let me imagine I was there
Nice View. I never been there. When i was living in Iceland for 5 years, i just stucked in REYKJAVIK. But I promise, someday if i had a chance to visit iceland, i am going to spend my time to travel in whole Iceland. I am from Indonesia. (Sorry my english is bad)
Our last visit there was four years ago. How different the park looks in the fall and without the crowds. I do not recall such an extensive system of boardwalks, must be new.
I am not quite finished watching this walk, but I had to stop it and say just how beautiful the Axe River Falls are. I love the remoteness of this place, it almost feels familiar to me, but of course, it is not. I appreciate the details you provide so much. It would be helpful to have an idea of what time of day your walks are. I try to figure this out but a sunrise could actually be a sunset. Then, you are so far north, I could be way wrong and it is high noon. :-) I feel most walks are mornings because there are so few people around - most of the time, but not always.
It felt very surreal because it's usually quite crowded. Just sheep minding their own business, everything quiet and the colors of fall a beautiful mix. I was there early, most often I flm in the mornings. Þingvellir is just a fantastic place.
Þingvellir is one of the most beautiful place in Iceland, especially in summer time.. it is also popular for fishing. 27.00 min you can see the waters.
The waterfall at 47 minutes is how I arrived at Þingvellir. Hiked overland from the top following the river and then climbed down the cliff. After that we went to Þórisjökull northward and climbed on the glacier, which back then extended all the way down to nearly the bottom of the cliff but now is retreated almost to the top of the cliff.
I'll have to try coming over that way, following the river. Yeah it's retreating. Someday very few will have experienced climbing glaciers like you did.
@@IcelandHotSpots Not tundra. The tundra is an empty field with low grass and snow. No trees and sparse low bushes. The Siberian forest is taiga. Taiga is a frequent and tall tree, mainly coniferous and medium-sized shrubs. It grows both on plains and on hills and mountains. Taiga is much more beautiful and "richer" (wild berries, mushrooms and nuts) than tundra. Only moss grows in the tundra.
@@IcelandHotSpots oh hell yeah. sure I hella do :) when its safe to travel from Germany to Iceland (Island) and explore those awesomeness that Iceland has to give

Great Virtual Tour! 👍👍😊😊 AWESOME! Amazing!
The water in the beginning is so still. And the mountain views again so lovely. Thank you for this amazing walk. I am there walking with you

WOW! Gorgeous! How eerily deserted.
I was there but with a tour so didn't have time for many of the side trails - darn it.
Yes you could spend hours exploring it all ☺️
Thank you. You bring back happy memories of my visit in 2019.
It makes me glad 🙂 Thanks Jo

Saya harap Anda bisa suatu hari nanti. Banyak kerabat saya adalah keturunan Indonesia 🙂
@@IcelandHotSpots oww.. wow ternyata anda bisa bahasa Indonesia.. terima kasih.
@@IcelandHotSpots You are full of surprises! Fabulous.
Ha ha. Ini hanya karena saya memiliki Google translate.
Nah don't think too much of it, it's the magic of Google translate 😅
Most beautiful country in the world! =)

It's quite a different place without people and summer colors, as you say. Yes I believe the paths have been improved in recent years.

¿Qué frío puede hacer en Barcelona? Me imagino que puede hacer bastante frío en el norte de España.

All done. WOW!
Peaceful. So quite without visitors. Apart from the two sheep. 😀
It was so mysterious
Nice place
It really is 🙂

strange feeling to see tingvellir so empty, however very nice video
Yeah it was quite strange. Thank you ☺️
Wonderful! The silence is so calming. What type of walking shoe does this person wear?
Thanks. I got me some Dr.Martens boots that are good all year round. I'm not promoting them, just saying ☺️

Iceland has really nice natural landscapes. It looks like Ireland and Norway at the same time. I could be wrong though.
It has similarities to both, although I would lean more towards Ireland.
Thanks for all!
Landscapes and views of Icelandic autumn nature are very similar to those of Siberia.
Yeah I can imagine with the tundra. I'd like to see some parts of Siberia some day.
