    What a gorgeous day! The whole Troll Peninsula is quite stunning. Like a mini Westfjords. :)

      Yeah it's great and it feels so reclusive, almost stuck in time.

    Iceland is much farther north than my city, but much greener and more colorful. I dream to visit this beautiful country.

    i love this town and would love to know what the plants are to survive the different conditions you have there

      A dominant species has been birch trees. They can handle the colder climate. Also many types of moss are hardy.

    I ´ve seen all your videos and I´ve noticed how empty are the most of the cities and villages. I´d like to understand if this is because the whether or because other reasons. It is something strange for me.

    • @IcelandHotSpots
      @IcelandHotSpots  4 роки тому +1

      That's a good question. There are several reasons. I often film early during weekends. Many people are sleeping in or haven't gotten out of the house yet. Recently there has been the pandemic, so people are less likely to be out and about. Some people are out on vacation if it is filmed in summer, so less people at home. And sometimes I film if I'm not working while most people are. So I guess I'm just not generally filming during the busy hours. I have a Reykjavík tour in summer coming up and you will see it is much more crowded.

      Those places are pretty dead in general its mostly old people who live there and the young people have gone to the city as there no jobs and nothing to do. Those places are really pretty during summer but dreadful during winter i would not want to live there either

    Do these homes typically have basements?

    • @IcelandHotSpots
      @IcelandHotSpots  3 роки тому

      In my personal experience it's more common in the older houses, less so in more modern ones. I don't have statistics about this though.

    yüksek tepelere dev aynalar koysanız 3 derece daha sıcak olur ağaçlar yetişir

      Muhtemelen aynalar olmadan daha sıcak olacak. Bir asır bekleyin.
