Beautiful condition considering the age (a bit like me😉). Warm castor oil for dried out leather, thin coat, let it soak in and buff up. Repeat as necessary. Softens and shines. Works great for shoes as well !
@@thephotographersbag oof! I made a comment a few days ago but I think it got auto moderated because it had a link to amazon. The question is what foam I should buy for re-sealing the back of a camera? Should i be looking for open cell, closed cell etc?
@@glovesbat Hey, they are a bit funny about links that take you away from the site, I tend to buy the mixed packs of foam from eBay, dark grey or black in colour, some are more dense than others, and the strips are precut, makes the job a lot quicker, there are other better options like black wool for example What camera are you going to replace the foams on?
@@glovesbat will dig mine our and have a look at the seals and there locations and come back to, I don't think they are too hard to replace, are you get fogging on your shots from light leaks?
Fast becoming my favorite cameras I have 3 folders now love them all, if a Nettar comes my way i'll have it cheers.
Lovely condition, should get some good photos out of that Zeiss on those lovely big negatives.
Hi Andrew, I got lucky with this one, fantastic working condition, will definitely run some film through it....hope you had a great Easter weekend 😁

Hi Iain, I am very pleased with this camera, thanks for the castor oil tip, very handy, definitely want to shoot a few rolls through it 😀
@@thephotographersbag Only certain chemists stock it, although you can sometimes find it in asian stores as a hair oil (my shoes smell of jasmine).
Fingers crossed I have a different make 6x9 coming my way but yours looks stunning. Would be great to see some negs via that. Wishing you well.
Hi Dave, having checked the bellows for light leaks, non found, so yup I too want to run a roll or two through it, will make a video out of it 😁
@@thephotographersbag great news on both accounts 👍📷
@@davecarrera Would be interested in your "new" camera, make, model etc...
