Some new players may have even joined in on the action in light of this recent fascination going on around Unreal on this site and whatnot, with the server shutdown and delisting news being covered. It definitely helped encourage my curiosity, can't believe I hadn't played Unreal or Unreal Tournament until just after last Christmas, it feels familiar yet nothing like I've ever experienced until this point. There's so much fun to be had and things to like about it. And all of this because I started getting curious about the origins of everything in the Unreal Editor. It honestly is kind of appalling that the name "Unreal" and it's engine is brought up countless times every single day yet almost nobody seems to be actually aware of where it came from. Anyone who searches up Unreal Engine guides and tutorials has no idea that Unreal was a game in its self, what the Liandri Corporation is, what an Eightball Launcher is, what the Skaarj are, who Prisoner 849 is, or heard of the Vortex Rikers. It's like if people talked about the Source Engine thousands of times a day but had no idea what Half-Life was or anything about it.

Awww Hell yeah, Necto doin' a Hyperblast Redux remix. With help, sure, but still! The original track from UT2k4 is still one of the best examples of the mix between the original electronic/synth/whatever of original UT and the new orchestral music added with 2k3/2k4. It's honestly one of my favorite kind of genre mixing, with maybe adding some metal in the only way to make it better. Well, except for this remix, which DAYUM, it hits like a Mack truck.
Like the DOOM Franchise has "At Dooms Gate / E1M1" as their most recognizable track, for UT "Hyperblast Redux" pretty much stands for this franchise. And that remix is really on fire! :)
Man, of all the Hyperblast covers I've heard, this one captures the exhilaration of how UT2k4 tackled the original Go Down BGM! I still play Deck17 to this day, whilst viewing YT on the side lol.

Ремикс просто шикраный, ты как всегда улучшаешь оригинальные саундтреки до максимального уровня, причём продливая моменты, которые лично мне нравится, к примеру - Into the darkness. Концовка ориг.саундтрека была мега офигенной, но такой короткой, а ты мало того что удлинил эту часть, так ещё и улучшил до неузноваемости. Great remix. Whenever I think Unreal I feel sad about what Epic has done. Recently we started to organise some weekly matches in classic UT to remember good old days (about 10 ppl party). What brings hope is that there are alternative master servers. Worst part is that games are delisted as if Epic wanted to erase the series.

The music is unreal. For me as little soviet kid in the year 2000 hearing this type of music was causing mindblowing effect.
