I got the TaoTao version of this bike in red/black. Just wanted to say nice scoot, but be careful. takes FOREVER to get plastics for these things, if you can get them at all stateside...
I'm getting a similar model the X18R 150cc. What was your top speed with the 100cc big bore upgrade? Did you ever do another speed run? I had a Big Cat 150cc scooter before, and found that the 13' wheels handle better than the bigger wheels.
Could I get a list of all the parts to upgrade this as well as the tools used to do all this ? It's my first time I wanna make sure I have everything I need :)
XXCaptainspikeXX size 8 & 10mm socket. extension for your socket wrench. .005 feeler gauge for your vuales. possibly a flat and Phillips screwdriver. needle nose pliers for the piston. and i recommend fresh oil change. use 93 gas. I bought a new carb with a #36 pilot jet and a 85 main jet. I got 6.5 rollers for it it. think that's a 14mm. high performance cdi and starter coil
I'll get feeler gauge. is 100cc not too much for it? would u mind linking what all you bought for it ? I keep looking and i just don't know what is good or bad to get since I'm new to this
do you have to make any adjustments to fit the big bore kit in and carb? as in height to make it fit ? What size bore did you use ? I have the same bike and i am wanting to do it this week
Mj Killa-Meow no frame changes. I'm using a 50mm bore kit that has 69mm valves. a new carb with a 80 main jet. if you don't have a feeler gauge I recommend getting one

I had a racer 50 with a 47mm kit and performance transmission and I could do 55 tucked behind the windshield...I miss that bike

Just bought one this week, how does the drilled air filter compare to an aftermarket exhaust? Are they equal in performance measure?
I like the white gas tank. but where can I get rear foot pegs and brackets for 150cc
do you know what kinda gas cap the bike has mine broke
and what bore kit did u use I was thinking maybe 72cc to 80cc so I can at least go up hills better

Carlos Jones my top speed was 55mph with a healthy gas mix. I could get it to 60 running it super rich but that's not good for the engine.

On the df50sst where is the cdi located ? I got one and cant seem to figure it out i might need to get a new one
on this bike it was located behind the right side rear plastics

Elcangrii130 its ready to go full speed after a hour I would say. And i have mine up to 55mph
