I never sewed anything before and I just made this bag. Granted it took me a lot longer than I expected ( something like 2 hours) but I love it! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial now I will be making more and hopefully they will take lesser time the more I make

This tutorial seems easy to follow. Getting ready to make a bunch of bags for my daughter in law and myself. Some stores in my area are not going to supply plastic bags anymore. Good for Mother Earth

your bag is easily foldable, so it only needs a little pocket pouch to put it in when folded. 😃
This will make your bag smaller than the original one though.

This may sound silly, but does anyone have the measurements of the plastic bag, handles etc. In vermont stores stopped using these bags a couple yrs ago or so and I dont have one of these laying around anywhere. If I can get the measurements I will make myself a paper template. This is awesome. Thanks
