Shabbat Shalom, Everyone! I always look forward to hear/participate during the Torah Study to prepare my mindset to this coming set apart day with our CREATOR! Thank you, Rabbi!
Wonderful questions! Some I have had in the past, and one I thought of and someone else asked. My last teacher used to say he didn't have any use for other books like Jasher, Enoch, and Jubilees. But he started using them, and his teachings went on an uncomfortable tangent. His teachings began to leave a weird feeling in my gut. I left and tried doing it on my own, thinking the Spirit would lead me. The Spirit led me to Rabbi Steve and MTOI, and I am so happy I found this ministry.
I got sidetracked in my walk in a messianic group that started reading Jasher, Enoch and Jubilee years ago. It almost derailed my covenant. It certainly stopped my torah studies for a while. But Yahweh pulled me back. Praise Yahweh. I found Rabbi Berkson a little while after that by watching Beware of False Prophets. It floored me, but resonated with what I already believed deep within. I shared it with many messianic friends and they denounced me because they still hold onto the belief that the Christian Jesus is the same as the Torah Yeshua. It was weird, like their bubble was popped, but they clung to false beliefs. Not me, I just want Yahweh's truth and to walk it out best I can.
Why did these books have that effect though? 1Enoch and Jubilees have covenant instructions. Jasher is a filler book on the accounts of the book of genesis.
I really like Steve's teachings for the mostpart, especially him using the ISR Bible. Listening to Lech Lecha this morning, I had to shut it off. Why? Because Steve proclaimed to the entire world about man having free will. The ISR Bible especially DENIES that man has "free will" (which robs YAH of His choice). I believe this is a major issue that everyone needs to discuss. I know of many scriptures that show that man's will has nothing to do with YAH's choices. Let's talk about this.
It was a true blessing having His Voice in our midst. Thank you Abba for providing all of this thru Rabbi 🙏❤️🔥🕎
Shabbat shalom shalom shalom
