Thanks for sharing!, I just commented on one of your other Vlogs for Ningaloo Reef - Exmouth is now on my itinerary for when I head to WA. I wont have the luxury of too much time so your vlogs have confirmed what I want to do and see for my short time there. You guys are awesome i am tagging along for more of your content over that way in the UK. Keep up the awesome vlogs BTW.
The place is so stunning, the constrast from the harsh desert hitting the bleached white sands and turquoise water is magnificent. And the ancient gorges that were once part of the ocean are incredible too. Snorkelled with a Tiger shark which I thought I'd never write. Locals liken them to teddybears, they have enough food to never bother about humans. It's in that perfect area between the great white zone and croc waters. I've dived a bit on the Great Barrier reef whcih is like any other reef, but it's just on steroids and is incredible. But the fringing Ningaloo is also a national treasure which gets alot less attention. If you ever get a chance get up to the 1000.m island Archipelago in the Kimberly too thar is one incredible ocean playground too, there is many places you can swim without crocs too.
Oh my goodness Duncan, my heart started racing when I read your message. Snorkelled with a Tiger Shark!?! That's wild! I'd love to come back and spend more time here. It's such an incredible place 😊
@@cjexplores didn't mean to snorkle with one, it just appeared. We were assured by locals this happens alot without incident there. I've been diving with plenty of them, but snorkelling is a little different.
@@GeorgeSoan I loved Charles Knife Gorge, but the access to the reef along the peninsula is just unmatched! Going out on the kayaks was pretty awesome too, seeing the clarity at its absolute peak 😍
Those birds are corellas. You can drive along the coast all the way between Carnarvon and Exmouth. Just need 4WD low range and 15 psi tyre pressure in places

I would love to know the route you took to Charles Knife Canyon in a 2WD?
Straight up Charles Knife Road actually! No problems at all 😊
Are you sure that was a 15 minute hike, it looks like a 3 hour hike, if it was a 15 minute hike, from where does the hike start?
Starts just by the roadside, not long at all to get those incredible views 🤩
