Might seem like an exaggeration but it isn't... my neighbor's german shepherd barking 24/7 is really driving me nuts. Use of the "dog silencer max" never helped.
@@Witcher58 Thanks. Yeah, I’m at my wits end. Even on their own website, there are many reviews that say the Max never worked for them. I likely wouldn’t be able to have a direct line of sight to the offending dog, so might just be a waste of money for me.

This device didn’t work at all on the dog close by and across from my window. Great company though since they back up their product with a 60-day return if it doesn’t work. DO NOT miss this return window if the device doesn’t work for you.

My $15 handheld device works, took 3 months to train their first dog with it. Now they got a second dog, a pit, and I just wanted an automated ultrasound device to shut it up. Less hassle and irritation when automatic.
It’s the dog from hell right across my work desk window. I seldom get angry, but this dog changed that. On/off anger daily due to her barking at anything passing their house, and for another million reasons. Completely irresponsible neighbors never trained their two dogs. They poop and pee everywhere in their yard. Pretty sure they never take their dogs out for walks. This is a perfect set up for a neurotic dog. I Love dogs. However, I can’t stand irresponsible lazy dog owners, who indirectly are the cause of dogs barking.

I feel you pain. I wonder do the people with barking dogs consider the annoyance to the neighbors that it causes or do you just do not care. My neighbors don't seem to care. They don't want it barking in their house but they have no problem letting it bark outside.
Same here.I live in a place where every house keeps 2-4 dogs in the garden.
The only one who does not have a dog is me.
No one cares about the dogs. When the owners are away, the dogs bark for hours without a break. And it is very loud. Even in the middle of the night and early in the morning. AndI am sleeping with earplugs, but even that does not help.
I am a big animal friend and liked dogs until about a year ago. Now I am starting to hate them.

I know exactly what you're talking about. We have neighbors with dogs that drive me nuts. They are out in the yard alone from morning to evening and bark at every little thing they see. We can't go into our own yard without being barked at relentlessly. I can't concentrate on work even with the windows closed and ear plugs in. It goes through everything. Just like you, I have phantasies of poisoning them. As a kid I was okay with dogs but now I started to hate them because of all those untrained dogs that bark all day, jump on people, poop on the sidewalks.

I just set mine up 2 days ago, everything has been set up with a slight angle down like the instructions say. there was a light rain for about 5 min and now the speaker isn’t working. I thought this was water resistant????

are they waterproof?
They are water resistant, which means they can hold up to getting splashed by a sprinkler or a little bit of rain. However if you know that it is going to be rainy for a couple of days, we would recommend that you bring the device inside or provide some sort of cover for it. As a solution, you could place the Dog Silencer MAX inside of a birdhouse and leave the front part open so that the Dog Silencer MAX is covered but the front of the unit is not blocked.

Yes, as long as the unit is on your property you can use these legally on neighbors dogs.

My neighbor has the device pointed at my kitchen window - 20 feet away. US and Israeli military use ultrasonic devices in war fare. Since I cannot hear the device, I don't know how loud it is. I don't know how the rest of my pets are affected. I don't know if I am affected. I THINK THESE DEVICES ARE ABUSIVE. if they really only tune in barking, any time another dog is barking in the 300 ft. range of these devices, my dog get zapped.
Keep your dog quiet and maybe your neighbor will remove it.
Yea, forget about your human neighbors rights and peace of mind in favor of your animals. Your neighbor should have a loud blaring recording play automatically at random times when you are home to teach you how your dog's barking makes him or her feel when you subject them to your animal.

My dog barks on command at the neighbors nextdoor with anti barking devices. They can't get him to stop, and I won't make him stop until they quit being nosy all the time.
The decibel level of this device is 112 dB - that is noise between a rock concert and an airplane taking off. This device causes hearing loss in pets. THIS NEEDS TO BE FORBIDDEN.
