I have used my Douglas 8wt for 6 years for steelhead and salmon, replaced the tip when I broke it on a big king great customer service, literally my go to rod the "daily driver". Their value is way above the price point.

The upstream is possibly the most under-rated out there. I casted the 4-76 LRS recently and that's next on the list.

@@thomasgallo7271 We agree, Thomas! There really isn't anything quite like the Upstream on the market. It is so much fun to fish with! Thanks for sharing.

What would the setup be for steelhead and salmon? Size of rod, and weight? I will be fishing some bigger Rivers in Michigan.
Also what fly reel and line do you recommend?

I agree ex ellent customer service, I lost a rod tip and called them for a replacement and received it in less than a week. A++++.
I own 4 douglas rods. Soon to be 5. Love their 10' 3 wt LRS for euro nymphing and their 10 ' 10 wt absolutely manhandles Chinook on the salmon river.
