Just caught “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” on TV recently - one of my favorites from childhood. I’ve got a roll of Svema 64 from the FPP, pre-Dracula branding, in my fridge still. I can probably count on one hand the number of BW 200 speed rolls I’ve shot (Fomapan/Arista EDU).
I don't know how much the art has changed since you shot with it but I recently shot a newer role of Dracula and just picked up some mummy and they had a much darker cooler look to them especially Frankenstein and mummy which had kind of a shiny outside Wolfman was the only one that didn't but it's possible it was a little older. I've only shot Dracula one time and I put it in the camera hoping to shoot it at a Halloween party but only got a couple shots off and shot the rest as kind of an experimental role inside using the flash on my F3 but this past weekend I shot a roll in downtown Seattle while we had some incredible sunlight and 70° temperatures so I'm hoping it turns out well
There is a good chance that the packaging has changed since I last shot these rolls. A more matte look than glossy probably to help with the recyclablity of the packaging. I'm hoping your stuff turns out also and thanks for watching 🍻
Great Review Alex! Of the 200 speed B&W films from the FPP the FPP BW 200 surveillance film is fantastic. A lot of range. I have taken some surprisingly great photos with that film. Wish it was available in 120. I have some Mummy to try. I have enjoyed shooting the monster films. You all are doing a great job at CCR and I am sure Mike and the gang appreciate the support and good press you have given them over the years.
I really enjoy your vids. One thing though. The difference in volume between you speaking and when you play music is quite large. I have to turn up the volume when you talk and turn down the volume when the music is playing. kinda annoying.

That’s a classic! And yeah those 200 speed films are odd ducks! Thanks for watching 🍻

Cheers! And yes that bw200 is a great film stock! Thanks for watching 🍻
Can you make video form portrait by Rolleiflex please
Won’t have time this year but maybe late next year! Thanks for watching 🍻
Wolfen film, sounds German. Guess Wolfen is ORWO UN54 the 400 film is I guess ORWO NP400 and the 200 Foma?
All three are Foma films based on the colour of the pre-wash. Thanks for watching!

Yeah that is still getting right. Thanks 🍻
I don't really get 200 iso BW white. Plenty of 100 film looks ok at 200, and tons and tons of 400 film looks great at 200.
Yup! It tries too hard! Thanks for watching 🍻
You say "Oakville" as though everyone knows where that is. Missouri, Washington, Ontario, Minnesota, Texas…?
Ontario!
