I was honestly expecting the whole "ai turns on you because you are not useful anymore" but having Iguazu is essentially pull a "Syndrome" from the Incredibles who you don't take seriously be the true final boss is done pretty well, especially when you realize how many missions involve Iguazu.
The AI didnt turn on you because "you weren't useful anymore" Allmind turned on you because she wanted to use your connection with Ayre to take over Coral and Humans both

The way Iguazu just silences both a hyperintelligent Leviathan-from-Exoprimal-type AI and a coral being piloting a cutting-edge AC suit with what I imagine was sheer spite and willpower was something that got my blood pumping. Iguazu may be whiny, but his determination to kill you is something I can't help but respect.
@@Plight_ it just tells us that the augmentations only improve one's existing potential. That doesn't mean much if the existing potential was bad to begin with. Pater Rusty and even Ayre have a small potential. Raven's potential is high enough that gen 4 augmentation was sufficient

ALLMIND planned to uplift humanity by using Coral Release to create a collective hivemind. We can see how flawed her plan is by the fact that Iguazu managed to rebel against her at the second phase. Ayre realized that it's impossible to separate individuality from humanity so in the ending she used Coral Release to create symbiosis between the Coral and Humanity.
So basically, you turn every human in the universe into a schizophrenic with this ending. Considering how crazy Iguazu went hearing voices, this has to be the most chaotic ending on a big scale lol.
@@lolschrauber Yeah when I got this ending, and heard Ayre say "Activating combat mode" my immediate reaction was "I just gave everyone in the universe space cancer. Oh no". It's only in this ending that Ayre learns about human individuality. And the fact that we just yearn to fight! So now with humans in ACS, and a coral voice in their head. Why not fight?
The endings mirror Dark Souls III's endings. Liberator of Rubicon/Linking the First Flame: You stabilize things for now but eventually (be it in 100 years or 1000), the choice will come again to decide what path humanity takes in regards to the (Coral/Flame). Fires of Raven/The End of Fire: You choose to definitively end the (Coral/Flame), but there's a chance it will resurface again in the future (Coral had regenerated from the ashes of the first Rubicon disaster/the Flame will inevitably rekindle from tiny embers as is the natural order of things). Alea Iacta Est/Usurpation of Fire: Instead of choosing to stabilize the situation for now or trying to douse the (Coral/Flame) entirely, you harness the power of the (Coral/Flame) to fundamentally change the nature of the world and humanity.
I beat the fight first try. Things were kinda starting to go south near the end but I managed to channel my inner "am I really about to lose to Iguazu?" and won
I knew I was getting into a fight, so I pulled out my tanky gun boy but swapped one of the machine guns with Redshift so I could end it with a blade by my side
Fucking mood bro I had 0 repair kits and like 60% ish health when he still had like 40%hp (both sea spiders were gone) and then Ayre was also gone and suddenly my brain just went 'aint no way im losing to this fool, I've never lost to him once'
My first time ambushing v.ii snail and iguazu jumps in, he ended up kill stealing snail from me. My first thought was: damn snail you got killed by iguazu that kinda cringe.
I genuinely love Iquazus character so much. I liked him from the beginning but thought he would be limited to a side character that we would kill in a meaningless fight. And thats what he was. But the hatred that he felt towards us because of that was so strong that it took over an AI god and managed to mess everything up. Because in the end thats what Iguazu is, a failure, and he hates it. I don't think he ever truly hated us as a person but hated us because we represented everything he wanted to be and couldn't achieve. His hatred towards us was just a manifestation of the hate he felt towards himself being so useless. The only one who even shows him a little bit of respect is Michigan, and thats only when he isn't around. Iguazu has been broken down, humiliated, and disregarded. All alone in the world he was tormented by voices in his head that started driving him mad, until eventually he was killed by us, disregarded and humiliated yet again. His anger towards us and his own incompetence is so great that he was the only one to have any sense of self. Not Walter or Carla or even Snail. It was the good for nothing Iguazu, with only anger so great that it could over power AllMind. And even with all that he failed. Because thats what Iguazu is. A failure.

Everyone kind of got absorbed by All Mind at the end via the coral so technically everyone is still around once everyone became one with the coral. That means Iguazu can try to get his run back for all eternality.

I was okay to skip the credits sequence on my first 2 playthroughs. But after the cathartic defeat of ALLMIND and Coral Release finally happening, alongside the deaths of almost everyone you knew, and after hearing that final "Main System: Activating Combat Mode", I just let the credits roll. That feels like a true ending.
I was the exact same, I was just floored and let the credits play. And then at the end when it just played the trailer theme, fucking awesome! And we got sequel bait at the end, thank god

Really sums up his character too. He just wants to be respected, not laughed at or seen as worthless. He wants the respect that we as a character got and that’s why he hates us so much. He just wants people to stop laughing at him and he’s going to do that by proving himself better than us. But he can’t, he fails again and again. This hatred towards us, his own incompetence, and the people that tease and humiliate him finally reached the tipping point in this moment. He’s a character that only knows rage and that rage drives away anyone that could ever learn to respect and care for him. Even at his end that last words said to him is that he was a mistake. Tragic character, 10/10 want more of him in the future even though that most certainly won’t happen.

my winning attempt at this was using my Guntank cosplay and I just so happened to assault boost to ram Iguazu at the end and it ended up looking so cinematic because my "kick" synced up with the explosion when he's charging at you
There is so much really good, subtle sound design in this game like Iguazu’s radio losing all the static when he says “it’s all clear now, i feel good”
It was so cliche and with the obvious build up I saw it coming a mile away. What I *didn't* see coming was a tripple cliche, each leaning more heavily into an overused trope than the last! I kinda don't even know what to make of it.
I was genuinely surprised it was him. Never have I felt like the protagonist in a story that just keeps innocently forgetting about the dude that absolutely wants him dead the most. I can’t think of a comparison but it’s absolutely a thing. At first I thought it was kind of ridiculous but it’s actually genius if that was the intention. Genuinely hilarious that we fight this guy more than anyone yet I’d imagine Raven screaming “you?!” At the start of this fight
He’s a great character. I absolutely love everything about him from what we see to what we can derive about him. If we do end up getting a dlc or sequel I hope we get more of him.
It's still ridiculous, out of all the ace pilots that allmind could have used it choice that one loser from the red guns that really good at throwing a tantrum. But heh, anything to subvert expectation.
@@venom0825 I don’t think AllMind chose him. I think what it was is that he simply had the strongest drive out of all the people integrated. It wasn’t AllMinds choice, it was the overwhelming power of human emotions, something an AI could never understand. Also the fight was foreshadowed all the way back in the first play through, yes it subverts expectations but it’s not like it comes out of nowhere.
To all the people wondering why Iguana out of the other pilots is because he is the only surviving/known gen 4 pilot with other one being 621. Gen 4 are the ones infused with Coral, later generations were implied to not use or use the least amount of Coral. And 621's unique situation caused him to synce with Ayre while Iguazu was implied to had botch gen4 augmentations (caused it was just to settle debts or something) and only hear weird ringings and random voices which also happens everytime he's in 621 vacinity or something. So Iggy was all Allmind had to complete her "plan" while the other option (621) would change factions just for some COAM or corallussy.
Yep. If you pay real close attention to the table that all mind brings up when talking about how the project needs an exceptional augmented human? Only 4 red names, and you can literally spot yourself in the 4th column. Other red id in gen 4 has to be iguazus, c4-769. The other red names being gen 1 and gen 3, c1-249 and c3-291... Sulla, keefe? There isn't many old gen pilots around.

The only thing that would make this fight even better would be after Iguazu shuts out ayre and all mind, it changes from referring to him as all mind and put his name back up when he is talking.
That was a pretty cinematic takedown! The way his dialogue blended together at the end sounded like he was conceding defeat before the fight was even over, and the way those missiles hit his core right before he charged you made it seem like they destroyed his generator.
Not unlike AI art, ALLMIND gathered data on all AC pilots so it could make an approximation pilot, the Mind series (Alpha, Beta, Gamma)- this what I think Kate Markson is. But At the end it switched to copying minds of pilots to use them instead (Walter fighting exact copies of the Vespers). It is hinted a couple of times in the game that there is something in human pilots that always outperforms AI, which I think ALLMIND realized at the end, hence why Iguazu takes command, maybe because he's the same generation as us, or because his hatred towards us would motivate him more. And to think this is the exact thing that led to ALLMIND defeat- its inability to understand and control humanity, leading to it relying on a human as its champion, who then broke free of its control and lost the battle. Humanity turned out to be both better and worse than the AI. and then you transcend humanity or something idk
@@jakestandifer1756 Exactly right. The closest comparison I can think of is meta builds. It doesn't matter the game, meta builds are designed to be the most "optimal", but it makes them very easy to predict. They play one specific way, and can't adapt or improvise. In AC6 PVP, you can take one look at somebody's build if it's a meta build and basically know whether or not you can win the fight. And LLM's are the same way. They can't deviate from their training data. They can't take in new information in real time, and any inherent biases, whether unintentional or not, cannot be undone. I was reading recently about a movie company that had hired on some AI prompters as concept artists and the like, only to later fire all of them and institute a company-wide ban on hiring prompters. Because like the LLMs themselves, the prompters didn't actually understand what they were making and couldn't iterate or adapt. Given the task of creating a scene, they would manufacture more variations than anybody else, and do it faster. But, if you told them, "I like this one, but get rid of the people in it" they couldn't understand what you wanted. They could spit out a bunch more images of forests or whatever, but they couldn't give you the first one again with the people removed. They manufactured content, but couldn't actually create or refine.
the "transcendence" part of this ending is so genuinely repulsive. I don't know how anyone looks at this and says this is an improvement. the souls of the Rubiconians have been trapped in the Coral for decades or centuries, in a constant state of limbo and disembodiment long after they should have been dead. the proper thing would have been to burn the Coral, letting them rest and sealing off the temptation and threat it posed to Man forever. Instead, they now will toil indefinitely trapped in war machines, denied their rest and going on to terrorize humanity without the ability to ever be human again.

The guy gets so pissed over his skill issue that he actually shocks ALLMIND with his sheer anger right as the final phase starts, I don't really like how Iguazu being in the mech basically comes out of nowhere but the entire last phase is great
Not really. He's been complaining about a voice in his head for the past two playthroughs, and even in this one, and they foreshadow him being in Allmind by having Walter and Carla mention that they're fighting drones that mimic basically every pilot on Rubicon. And he's not in the mech, he's one of the consciousnesses that Allmind downloaded; it's just that he's the most intense one.

If you go back and check all his dialogue you realise it was actually heavy implied he had something to do with ALLMIND. So skill issue on your behalf when it comes to reading or media literacy.
I was playing these last few levels with a friend in a call. I had guessed Allmind would be the final boss but my friend joked that what if Iguazu came back for one last hurrah. We both had a good laugh. We then proceeded to freak the fuck out when it actually happened.
I love this particular video because of where Iguazu’s kickass “I’LL SHUT YOU ALL UP” line comes in. You’ve got Ayre cheering on Raven and AllMind pestering Iguazu to finish the fight while 621 is actively blasting him and those weird sea spiders things are flying around. There’s so much noise all around him and Iguazu’s pent up frustration just explodes, and for just a moment it’s silent as he and 621 resume their battle.
Out of all the boss fights, this was the one I enjoyed the most. The sheer spectacle of things like the Ice Worm, Balteus V.II, or even the other final bosses, was awesome, but something about this one was just absolutely insane. My favorite in my entire 3rd playthrough was 2:42. I actually jumped out of my seat in excitement. I haven't played all the AC games yet, but for me, this one is easily up there with FA, VD, and LR. 10/10

When I beat him I had less than 100 health and no more repair kits so when he pulled out his laser claw during his death animation I swear to god my heart stopped
Just finished this fight. Absolutely EPIC. This game is a masterpiece. Never imagined Iguazo was going to hate us so much until reaching that point. The story is amazing and has a really deep meaning, in several aspects. The gameplay is one of the best I've played in my entire life. It reminded me why I love video games.
Practically every AC boss you kill in the game is subsumed into ALLMIND and iguazu is such a hater that his will to kill you managed to surpass all of theirs,ALLMIND included
From Software are just one of the best gaming studio ever, from just simple game as mech fights, they can do really intruging story while it being pretty easy and not deep. Thing that u can fihish a game 3 times to get that ending is just awesome. It feels like Nier Automata once again, but a lot faster to do and without enemies getting stronger in NG+

All because this freelancer was better than you. Which hurt your pride. You were consumed by anger and jealousy. You made a deal with Allmind just cause you want to destroyed the freelancer who took everything from you. Let me ask you THIS QUESTION!!!!! Was it worth it?
Guys I don´t know if you noticed that but Iguazu is a clear reference to 9 Ball. he called us Irregular like 9 Ball did in the first game. He also said that he died more than once soo we can "garantee" that at one point he became one with AllMind not even in the end game but maybe when we fight him in the mission of Depth 2 he became one with AllMind. Im saying this considering that when we met him for the first time, he didnt say anything about the sound in his head but in Depth 2 he start to hear voices.
A really powerful AI that wants to get rid of anyone against the system being the true final boss. Yeah, ALLMIND is Nineball in all but name. Also, holy shit, Iguaze, calm the fuck down, son.
I like how one Core Theme of the Armored Core Series was a subversion of the Humanity controlling an AI to powerful for them. Because instead, it was an AI controlling a Human too powerful for them.
I think it’s a safe bet to say FromSoftware are masters of their craft. Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1,2 and 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring Armored Cores and now with Armored Core 6 Fires Of Rubicon, they are a testement of punishing but rewarding. Any time a new game of theirs is announced I’m hyped no matter what
Iguazu is very sad character. Guy is so filled with insecurity and hatred that can't even see or don't want to see that Raven is extremely hard-working and determined just like him. It never was easy and never for free for us, Balteus won't let me lie here. I never saw Iguazu as my enemie, only as a guy with very strong and harmful (for himself) obsession with Raven
Of all the mercenaries to pick as a pilot allmind knew the only one filled with enough viscousness and wrath against you to stand in a fight was this broken angry man
I always love the final “I’ll support you, raven”. The entire game she’s been our closest ally, in a very literal sense. Giving help, information, tactical stuff basically. But here she finally is, shoulder to shoulder, “I’ll support you” takes on a greater meaning of course, but also, it’s like she’s acknowledging you’re going to be the one to do it, this isn’t an equal partnership in terms of piloting ability. She’s been jn your head she’s had a front row seat for every mission. She knows you’re capable, she just needs to help you over the finish line.
While probably don't have everything, I do know we can get the AllMind parts by collecting the battle logs. I've already gotten the AllMind Core, arms, and legs. The only part missing is the head for me.
Kinda. Iguazu like many other redguns pilots are criminals given a second chance through military service. He doesn't truly want to fight. He finds Michigan annoying. You show up and steal the show. You climb the wall his friend died climbing you get hired for an opposing job and beat his ass. then his company loses the war. He's a broken man. Makes sense that he's blaming you
alea iacta est: has the happiest tone of the three endings, final shot is you facing the most beautiful sky in the entire game with ayre, together, into the new world. has by far the happiest and most triumphant song in the game playing during the credits. some people: this is clearly the worst possible ending, humanity is wiped out, we have to commit genocide to stop this
Coral has the potential to propagate infinitely in a vacuum, according to one of the logs. It's a collective, conscious entity that absorbs or destroys other conscious life. It's not just humanity; it's all sentient life that may exist in our galaxy. Consider Halo's Flood, or Dead Space's "Brother Moons". Both are collective conscious that propagates through assimilation of biological material, both are sentient, living creatures, both can absorb aspects of host consciousness, and both do so to the detriment of all other life. Coral is extremely similar, yet even more dangerous due to its ability to self replicate. Call it genocide if you'd like, but imagine the tens of trillion of lives throughout our galaxy that stand to be forcibly assimilated or perish. One planet is nothing compared to the loss of a galaxy.
Don’t pretend a Fromsoft game has any form of happy ending. This is just happy from Ayre’s perspective, do you think the rest of humanity wants to join a werid red goop hive mind?
@@Ikcatcher we have no reason to believe it's a hive mind. in fact, i would say it implies that everyone's still an individual, with allmind trying to make a hive mind that she controlled. fromsoft games have also definitely had endings where the world is left in a better place than it was at the start of the game.
It's not a hive mind, everyone keeps their individuality and free will, but instead of bodies they're now inside AC's i believe, that or they all became augmented like raven
I got the impression this ending was just essentially a restart to the world. That last line about combat systems implies that everyone starts fighting again. The "best" FS endings are typically the ones where you burn the world because it ends the cycle.
This may be far fetched, but I wonder if Allmind's mech is powered by Kojima Particles. The mech gives off a green energy which is distinctly different from the red energy of Coral. Kojima particles were also green in color, and out of all the power sources featured in Armored Core games, Kojima is the only power source that could rival Coral. It should be noted that none of the mech's attacks use Coral. Every energy attack is either blue or green, which is just like laser and Kojima weaponry from 4th Gen. Allmind also doesn't seem to be interfaced with Coral since she says, "Ayre. Your siblings will surely welcome us." She doesn't actually know, she just assumes that will be the case. As for Kojima contamination, Allmind doesn't have to worry about that since the fight is in space. Also Allmind's mech prepares for battle you can also see blueish green particles around it start to react, which may be a leftover feature that resulted from an attempt to recreate a NEXT, but wasn't able to fully recreate Primal Armor.
While i agree with everything you said I don't think ayre would know whether or not her siblings would welcom them either. So far all coral besides the C-mutations seem to have very simple thoughts usually along the lines of protecting themselves, it's probably only after the release and subsequent integration with humans that they'll probably start thinking more complex things.
@@azure4622You might be right, and I never actually claimed that Ayre would know whether or not her siblings would welcome them either, but it might not even matter anyways since the Coral always tries to do three things: gather, reproduce/expand, and protect itself. Ayre's goal wasn't to have the Coral welcome her and 621, it was to trigger the Coral release, which is in line with the Coral's natural behavior.
I really liked Iguazu haha. He's the few guy that didn't lie from start to finish. Btw I didn't expect Alea Iacta Est and Rubicon has this level of meaning to it

@@snazzydazzy yeah walters ending and Carla’s ending is what I did first. It just made sense but man was it a gut punch to betray Arye like that. But Walter literally brings you back from the dead essentially (twice), gives your life to fight back for, allows you to pilot an ac again, and has your back through almost all of it, while expecting very little in return other than “Got another mission for you raven”. It just made the most sense to help him because he literally sacrificed so much to bring a Gen 4 back from the dead and had faith in us no matter the circumstance. He was a true friend and it just made sense to finish out his dying wish.
all that work we did for ALLMIND in ng+2 and she still betrays you to someone who couldnt take the L with dignity and move on. ALLMIND is for the mecha intergalatic highway and iguazu is a simp!
@@Kazuhira2249 I know they said that Kojima particles aren't in play here, but those lingering green particles made me think about them. Also we know that those particles are more prominent when it's cold and I think outer space is pretty cold.
Idk about you guys but after Iguazu sent Coldcall after me i was like "Hold up there HAS to be a mission where I get my come-uppins for that hit on my head"
This mission is a HARD one (As befitting the true final boss of a FROM game), so let me give anyone here some advise from personal experience on how to make it manageable: ⚪️FIRSTLY, almost ALL firepower coming your way this battle will be energy based, so picking parts with high energy attack resistance’s is a good start. ⚪️Second, don’t waste to much effort or ammo on the starting posse of lesser AC’s. If you gun for ALLMIND first they’ll despawn come the next phase. ⚪️Phase 1 ALLMIND isn’t that scary, and there are certainly more dangerous normal AC’s in the game… ⚪️…Until you hit phase 2, and it breaks out the Not-A-NEXT, with 2 modified phase 2 Sea Spiders as backup. Luckily you have Ayre to back you up on a coral based AC herself, and that helps TREMENDOUSLY. ⚪️Start by taking down the bodyguards, preferably while Ayre has ALLMIND’s attention. Charging weapons that cause high amounts of stagger are delightful here, and be share to throw in some boost kicks too. If you have assault armor, wait for them to bunch up, then fly into one of them point blank and blast them both with it. I’m not sure if they despawn during phase 3, and after the disaster trying to fight the original boss was during my last playthrough, I remain too traumatized and angry to find out. ⚪️Anyway, you’ll want to have conserved a good chunk of ammo and at least 2 med packs for phase 3 (If you run dry on ammo, you are NOT going to beat Iguazu in a literal fistfight unless his health is already rock bottom). Iguazu will take full control and banish both ALLMIND and Ayre, leaving it a 1V1. His ranged attacks are of course an issue, but his speed skyrockets, and he gets VERY aggressive with his melee weapons. If you have assault armor on, wait for him to get within instant *_”I’m-Gonna-F-K-You-Now (literally and metaphorically) distance”_* and drop the full brunt of the blast right in his face. That should stagger him immediately if he’s close enough without firing a round. Try to not take any unneeded damage, nd try to finish the fight ASAP before he overwhelms you with his melee blitzkrieg. He’s fast, so try to keep a bead on him and not waste your ammo.
This boss really reminds me of Sister Friede. 2 decently difficult phases that will wittle down your resources, before the insanely difficult phase 3 that you have to do with little healing, and especially in AC6 with little ammo.
This really have the vibe of DRAGON QUEST 11 where you find out that it's actually the prequel of all the games before. I'm hoping for remakes of the old games lol hopefully I'd still be alive to witness it.
So... Walter was piloting the HAL. His own personal AC. I wonder if he scavenged it from institute city before the fight, or if he was keeping it secret all along. Either way, the Walter we fight at the end of Ayre's ending isn't himself.
It's also possible he knew of it, or only found it, after the events of the Institute City fight. Keep in mind that you taking out V.II Snail meant he didn't get captured, so during the time skip he presumably was working more directly together with Carla and would have been able to put that sort of thing together.
@@echomjp that’s true, I kinda forget about the time skip. It’s kinda hard to know how much time passes. It doesn’t feel like that long but Arquebus finishes work on the vascular plant so it must have at least been a few days or even weeks. Idk. The whole capture sequence is really hard to understand tbh. Like you either get abducted by the bright light and then all kind wakes you up on the xylem, or you get thrown into a sewer for some reason and they just leave you unguarded to hop in an AC that was left there so you can escape. Tbh how does 621 even get in the AC? I thought they were totally immobile due to the augments
@@moadsnake104 I figured 621 had just enough of his physical abilities left to be able to crawl along the ground in the prison "escape" scene, and Walter clearly arranged for his escape (how, and why he couldn't save himself too, I don't know). Maybe he knew where 621 would be kept prisoner somehow and had an insider (maybe Carla worked her magic with her minions) prepare the AC and help break him out, but couldn't actually carry him to the AC itself. A lot of things in the story of this game are kept vague, but I think that's fine.
Just S-Ranked this fight tonight. We were both down to our last slivers of AP. I was doing the classic dodge, jump, and gun maneuver. Ran out of ammo in my right hand weapon. Pressed the right trigger on reflex. My AC lunged forward and finished Iguazu off with a punch to the head unit. It was awesome.
Fuck, that's why the combat log system exists in-story, and why Allmind rewards you with Allmind brand parts. You're helping her gather data/minds while also eliminating possible obstructions.

I'm thinking it's more like how things are in Eclipse Phase and Altered Carbon, where people can download themselves into different bodies, which is called "Needlecasting" in Altered Carbon, while also disseminating/activating Coral across a large chunk of at least human-controlled space. If not the entire Galaxy.
No, I believe the ending just means that the humans on Rubicon got transported to other worlds by the coral. So humans that want to live in harmony with the coral are immediately going to war with the rest of humanity.
Listen, of all moments in this masterpiece. Nothing compares to the moment Ayre pulls up to this battle. I was genuinely so excited, I could dominate with my coral waifu alongside me. Unforgettable.
So I saw spoiled on this in my recommends like a day or so ago and I was like "sucks but yeah that makes sense" since I was on my NG++ and it seems to be ALLMIND was gearing up to be a main plot now. But I never in a million years would've guessed Iguazu would be the final boss. Whenever I saw him in the game I just went "oh ok, he's like the joke character of this game like Patches in a Fromsoft game". With the way people talked about him in comments weeks ago I also thought he was a recurring Fromsoft character. The fact that I was spoiled on the final boss but also wasn't makes me love this final conflict. "My schizo BF was way better than your schizo BF, you backed the wrong horse, ALLMIND"
Concept boss fight: C4-621 (LOADER 4 OMEGA) This boss fight is unlocked after all endings are completed requires all arena battles and collectables collected, meaning OS Tuning, parts, weapons, logs, everything. After completeing and collecting everything, you will get a special message from ALLMIND about a paradox in it's system. The moment you go to the arena, you will see this entry: Ω//04: C4-621. You are so powerful that you surpass the rankings. The boss fight has far more advanced AI, utilizing everything at their disposal and is essentially fighting a far more skilled version of yourself. The LOADER 4 OMEGA is a refurbished version of the original LOADER 4. All of the parts are brand new, fresh, and upgraded, evident by its large 6-digit AP, and improved specs as they are more balanced, merely copying the design as an asthetic choice. It utilizes some altered armaments unique to this AC and additional armaments: It's "assault rifle" is more akin to the Gatling Gun, having a higher rate of fire, more damage, and unlimited ammo, though is usually fired in bursts of 200 rounds. The pulse blade is far more dangerous, with an almost guaranteed ACS BREAK in it connects and additional hit follow-up. The initial missile launcher is of a different model and now launches far more missiles, from 4 to 50. Uncharged, each missile will ascend far above, then target your current location at that point, with a small delay before each missile. Charged, they will launch horizontally and move as fast as bullets. It gains the ashmead pilebunker (death spike) as a secondary. Unlike other ACs, it can use all types of expansion, has an FCS that is extremely effective with 100 at all ranges and missiles, and a powerful generator.
I finished this fight by catching him with Walter's sword from the back. My energy bar fully depleted, so G5 Incel did his stupid final futile charge at a wierd angle, which i dodge out of (yeah, it's unnesecary, but who cares, it's awesome!) And then proceeded to fly up. The last shot of gameplay is me ascending to the coral release while he falls into the voids of space outside the blasted hell that Rubicon became.
So as an oldschool AC fan I can’t help but notice all the ALL MIND tech here has green energy flowing through it, like it’s green colored Coral. Now I’m not saying it’s Kojima Particles because it’s probably not but… Or maybe it’s green because it’s stained with Iguazu’s salty envy.
I just realized that the core debris on the first few minutes of the scene was from Cinder Carla's AC (Full Course), and the one beneath Iguazu was Handler Walter's (HAL 826).

I was honestly expecting the whole "ai turns on you because you are not useful anymore" but having Iguazu is essentially pull a "Syndrome" from the Incredibles who you don't take seriously be the true final boss is done pretty well, especially when you realize how many missions involve Iguazu.
Lets see, 2 dam missions, 1 mission in rad, 1 in ice worm, 1 in underground exploration, 1 near coral convergence point. 6 mission total.

The way Iguazu just silences both a hyperintelligent Leviathan-from-Exoprimal-type AI and a coral being piloting a cutting-edge AC suit with what I imagine was sheer spite and willpower was something that got my blood pumping.
Iguazu may be whiny, but his determination to kill you is something I can't help but respect.
Iguazu could've easily been the MC if this was a shonen anime.

ALLMIND planned to uplift humanity by using Coral Release to create a collective hivemind. We can see how flawed her plan is by the fact that Iguazu managed to rebel against her at the second phase. Ayre realized that it's impossible to separate individuality from humanity so in the ending she used Coral Release to create symbiosis between the Coral and Humanity.
Kinda reminds me of the synthesis ending a bit from Mass Effect 3.
So basically, you turn every human in the universe into a schizophrenic with this ending.
Considering how crazy Iguazu went hearing voices, this has to be the most chaotic ending on a big scale lol.

It's only in this ending that Ayre learns about human individuality. And the fact that we just yearn to fight!

I beat the fight first try. Things were kinda starting to go south near the end but I managed to channel my inner "am I really about to lose to Iguazu?" and won

I had 0 repair kits and like 60% ish health when he still had like 40%hp (both sea spiders were gone) and then Ayre was also gone and suddenly my brain just went 'aint no way im losing to this fool, I've never lost to him once'
My first time ambushing v.ii snail and iguazu jumps in, he ended up kill stealing snail from me. My first thought was: damn snail you got killed by iguazu that kinda cringe.

I genuinely love Iquazus character so much. I liked him from the beginning but thought he would be limited to a side character that we would kill in a meaningless fight. And thats what he was. But the hatred that he felt towards us because of that was so strong that it took over an AI god and managed to mess everything up. Because in the end thats what Iguazu is, a failure, and he hates it. I don't think he ever truly hated us as a person but hated us because we represented everything he wanted to be and couldn't achieve. His hatred towards us was just a manifestation of the hate he felt towards himself being so useless. The only one who even shows him a little bit of respect is Michigan, and thats only when he isn't around. Iguazu has been broken down, humiliated, and disregarded. All alone in the world he was tormented by voices in his head that started driving him mad, until eventually he was killed by us, disregarded and humiliated yet again. His anger towards us and his own incompetence is so great that he was the only one to have any sense of self. Not Walter or Carla or even Snail. It was the good for nothing Iguazu, with only anger so great that it could over power AllMind. And even with all that he failed. Because thats what Iguazu is. A failure.

Everyone kind of got absorbed by All Mind at the end via the coral so technically everyone is still around once everyone became one with the coral. That means Iguazu can try to get his run back for all eternality.
If Iguazu shows up again in any form I’ll be happy. He’s easily my favorite character from the game.

I was okay to skip the credits sequence on my first 2 playthroughs. But after the cathartic defeat of ALLMIND and Coral Release finally happening, alongside the deaths of almost everyone you knew, and after hearing that final "Main System: Activating Combat Mode", I just let the credits roll. That feels like a true ending.
I was the exact same, I was just floored and let the credits play. And then at the end when it just played the trailer theme, fucking awesome! And we got sequel bait at the end, thank god

The "Shut up !.... I'LL SHUT YOU ALL !!" moment truly is incredible, it made me shiver ngl. That's one of the best sentences a boss said imo.
Really sums up his character too. He just wants to be respected, not laughed at or seen as worthless. He wants the respect that we as a character got and that’s why he hates us so much. He just wants people to stop laughing at him and he’s going to do that by proving himself better than us. But he can’t, he fails again and again. This hatred towards us, his own incompetence, and the people that tease and humiliate him finally reached the tipping point in this moment. He’s a character that only knows rage and that rage drives away anyone that could ever learn to respect and care for him. Even at his end that last words said to him is that he was a mistake. Tragic character, 10/10 want more of him in the future even though that most certainly won’t happen.

It was so cliche and with the obvious build up I saw it coming a mile away. What I *didn't* see coming was a tripple cliche, each leaning more heavily into an overused trope than the last! I kinda don't even know what to make of it.

It wasn’t AllMinds choice, it was the overwhelming power of human emotions, something an AI could never understand. Also the fight was foreshadowed all the way back in the first play through, yes it subverts expectations but it’s not like it comes out of nowhere.

To all the people wondering why Iguana out of the other pilots is because he is the only surviving/known gen 4 pilot with other one being 621.
Gen 4 are the ones infused with Coral, later generations were implied to not use or use the least amount of Coral.
And 621's unique situation caused him to synce with Ayre while Iguazu was implied to had botch gen4 augmentations (caused it was just to settle debts or something) and only hear weird ringings and random voices which also happens everytime he's in 621 vacinity or something.
So Iggy was all Allmind had to complete her "plan" while the other option (621) would change factions just for some COAM or corallussy.
Yep. If you pay real close attention to the table that all mind brings up when talking about how the project needs an exceptional augmented human? Only 4 red names, and you can literally spot yourself in the 4th column. Other red id in gen 4 has to be iguazus, c4-769.

This man found a way to channel his own butthurt.
That was a pretty cinematic takedown! The way his dialogue blended together at the end sounded like he was conceding defeat before the fight was even over, and the way those missiles hit his core right before he charged you made it seem like they destroyed his generator.
Not unlike AI art, ALLMIND gathered data on all AC pilots so it could make an approximation pilot, the Mind series (Alpha, Beta, Gamma)- this what I think Kate Markson is. But At the end it switched to copying minds of pilots to use them instead (Walter fighting exact copies of the Vespers). It is hinted a couple of times in the game that there is something in human pilots that always outperforms AI, which I think ALLMIND realized at the end, hence why Iguazu takes command, maybe because he's the same generation as us, or because his hatred towards us would motivate him more. And to think this is the exact thing that led to ALLMIND defeat- its inability to understand and control humanity, leading to it relying on a human as its champion, who then broke free of its control and lost the battle. Humanity turned out to be both better and worse than the AI.

@@jakestandifer1756 Exactly right. The closest comparison I can think of is meta builds. It doesn't matter the game, meta builds are designed to be the most "optimal", but it makes them very easy to predict. They play one specific way, and can't adapt or improvise. In AC6 PVP, you can take one look at somebody's build if it's a meta build and basically know whether or not you can win the fight.
And LLM's are the same way. They can't deviate from their training data. They can't take in new information in real time, and any inherent biases, whether unintentional or not, cannot be undone. I was reading recently about a movie company that had hired on some AI prompters as concept artists and the like, only to later fire all of them and institute a company-wide ban on hiring prompters. Because like the LLMs themselves, the prompters didn't actually understand what they were making and couldn't iterate or adapt. Given the task of creating a scene, they would manufacture more variations than anybody else, and do it faster. But, if you told them, "I like this one, but get rid of the people in it" they couldn't understand what you wanted. They could spit out a bunch more images of forests or whatever, but they couldn't give you the first one again with the people removed. They manufactured content, but couldn't actually create or refine.

the souls of the Rubiconians have been trapped in the Coral for decades or centuries, in a constant state of limbo and disembodiment long after they should have been dead. the proper thing would have been to burn the Coral, letting them rest and sealing off the temptation and threat it posed to Man forever. Instead, they now will toil indefinitely trapped in war machines, denied their rest and going on to terrorize humanity without the ability to ever be human again.

Seeing the wrecked ACs of Carla and Walter genuinely startled me.
The guy gets so pissed over his skill issue that he actually shocks ALLMIND with his sheer anger right as the final phase starts, I don't really like how Iguazu being in the mech basically comes out of nowhere but the entire last phase is great
Not really. He's been complaining about a voice in his head for the past two playthroughs, and even in this one, and they foreshadow him being in Allmind by having Walter and Carla mention that they're fighting drones that mimic basically every pilot on Rubicon. And he's not in the mech, he's one of the consciousnesses that Allmind downloaded; it's just that he's the most intense one.

If you go back and check all his dialogue you realise it was actually heavy implied he had something to do with ALLMIND. So skill issue on your behalf when it comes to reading or media literacy.
I was playing these last few levels with a friend in a call. I had guessed Allmind would be the final boss but my friend joked that what if Iguazu came back for one last hurrah. We both had a good laugh. We then proceeded to freak the fuck out when it actually happened.
I love this particular video because of where Iguazu’s kickass “I’LL SHUT YOU ALL UP” line comes in. You’ve got Ayre cheering on Raven and AllMind pestering Iguazu to finish the fight while 621 is actively blasting him and those weird sea spiders things are flying around. There’s so much noise all around him and Iguazu’s pent up frustration just explodes, and for just a moment it’s silent as he and 621 resume their battle.

Out of all the boss fights, this was the one I enjoyed the most. The sheer spectacle of things like the Ice Worm, Balteus V.II, or even the other final bosses, was awesome, but something about this one was just absolutely insane.
My favorite in my entire 3rd playthrough was 2:42. I actually jumped out of my seat in excitement.
I haven't played all the AC games yet, but for me, this one is easily up there with FA, VD, and LR. 10/10

Just finished this fight. Absolutely EPIC. This game is a masterpiece. Never imagined Iguazo was going to hate us so much until reaching that point. The story is amazing and has a really deep meaning, in several aspects. The gameplay is one of the best I've played in my entire life. It reminded me why I love video games.

From Software are just one of the best gaming studio ever, from just simple game as mech fights, they can do really intruging story while it being pretty easy and not deep. Thing that u can fihish a game 3 times to get that ending is just awesome. It feels like Nier Automata once again, but a lot faster to do and without enemies getting stronger in NG+

Guys I don´t know if you noticed that but Iguazu is a clear reference to 9 Ball. he called us Irregular like 9 Ball did in the first game. He also said that he died more than once soo we can "garantee" that at one point he became one with AllMind not even in the end game but maybe when we fight him in the mission of Depth 2 he became one with AllMind. Im saying this considering that when we met him for the first time, he didnt say anything about the sound in his head but in Depth 2 he start to hear voices.

I always love the final “I’ll support you, raven”. The entire game she’s been our closest ally, in a very literal sense. Giving help, information, tactical stuff basically. But here she finally is, shoulder to shoulder, “I’ll support you” takes on a greater meaning of course, but also, it’s like she’s acknowledging you’re going to be the one to do it, this isn’t an equal partnership in terms of piloting ability. She’s been jn your head she’s had a front row seat for every mission. She knows you’re capable, she just needs to help you over the finish line.

Coral has the potential to propagate infinitely in a vacuum, according to one of the logs. It's a collective, conscious entity that absorbs or destroys other conscious life. It's not just humanity; it's all sentient life that may exist in our galaxy.
Consider Halo's Flood, or Dead Space's "Brother Moons". Both are collective conscious that propagates through assimilation of biological material, both are sentient, living creatures, both can absorb aspects of host consciousness, and both do so to the detriment of all other life. Coral is extremely similar, yet even more dangerous due to its ability to self replicate.
Call it genocide if you'd like, but imagine the tens of trillion of lives throughout our galaxy that stand to be forcibly assimilated or perish. One planet is nothing compared to the loss of a galaxy.

@@Ikcatcher we have no reason to believe it's a hive mind. in fact, i would say it implies that everyone's still an individual, with allmind trying to make a hive mind that she controlled. fromsoft games have also definitely had endings where the world is left in a better place than it was at the start of the game.
It's not a hive mind, everyone keeps their individuality and free will, but instead of bodies they're now inside AC's i believe, that or they all became augmented like raven
I got the impression this ending was just essentially a restart to the world. That last line about combat systems implies that everyone starts fighting again. The "best" FS endings are typically the ones where you burn the world because it ends the cycle.
Finally came to this and beat it. Igauzu is practically a reincarnated Ein Dalton.
This may be far fetched, but I wonder if Allmind's mech is powered by Kojima Particles. The mech gives off a green energy which is distinctly different from the red energy of Coral. Kojima particles were also green in color, and out of all the power sources featured in Armored Core games, Kojima is the only power source that could rival Coral. It should be noted that none of the mech's attacks use Coral. Every energy attack is either blue or green, which is just like laser and Kojima weaponry from 4th Gen. Allmind also doesn't seem to be interfaced with Coral since she says, "Ayre. Your siblings will surely welcome us." She doesn't actually know, she just assumes that will be the case. As for Kojima contamination, Allmind doesn't have to worry about that since the fight is in space. Also Allmind's mech prepares for battle you can also see blueish green particles around it start to react, which may be a leftover feature that resulted from an attempt to recreate a NEXT, but wasn't able to fully recreate Primal Armor.

While i agree with everything you said I don't think ayre would know whether or not her siblings would welcom them either. So far all coral besides the C-mutations seem to have very simple thoughts usually along the lines of protecting themselves, it's probably only after the release and subsequent integration with humans that they'll probably start thinking more complex things.
@@azure4622You might be right, and I never actually claimed that Ayre would know whether or not her siblings would welcome them either, but it might not even matter anyways since the Coral always tries to do three things: gather, reproduce/expand, and protect itself. Ayre's goal wasn't to have the Coral welcome her and 621, it was to trigger the Coral release, which is in line with the Coral's natural behavior.

@@snazzydazzy yeah walters ending and Carla’s ending is what I did first. It just made sense but man was it a gut punch to betray Arye like that. But Walter literally brings you back from the dead essentially (twice), gives your life to fight back for, allows you to pilot an ac again, and has your back through almost all of it, while expecting very little in return other than “Got another mission for you raven”.
It just made the most sense to help him because he literally sacrificed so much to bring a Gen 4 back from the dead and had faith in us no matter the circumstance. He was a true friend and it just made sense to finish out his dying wish.

He actually ended up volunteering himself for the front line in the end.
This mission is a HARD one (As befitting the true final boss of a FROM game), so let me give anyone here some advise from personal experience on how to make it manageable:
⚪️FIRSTLY, almost ALL firepower coming your way this battle will be energy based, so picking parts with high energy attack resistance’s is a good start.
⚪️Second, don’t waste to much effort or ammo on the starting posse of lesser AC’s. If you gun for ALLMIND first they’ll despawn come the next phase.
⚪️Phase 1 ALLMIND isn’t that scary, and there are certainly more dangerous normal AC’s in the game…
⚪️…Until you hit phase 2, and it breaks out the Not-A-NEXT, with 2 modified phase 2 Sea Spiders as backup. Luckily you have Ayre to back you up on a coral based AC herself, and that helps TREMENDOUSLY.
⚪️Start by taking down the bodyguards, preferably while Ayre has ALLMIND’s attention. Charging weapons that cause high amounts of stagger are delightful here, and be share to throw in some boost kicks too. If you have assault armor, wait for them to bunch up, then fly into one of them point blank and blast them both with it. I’m not sure if they despawn during phase 3, and after the disaster trying to fight the original boss was during my last playthrough, I remain too traumatized and angry to find out.
⚪️Anyway, you’ll want to have conserved a good chunk of ammo and at least 2 med packs for phase 3 (If you run dry on ammo, you are NOT going to beat Iguazu in a literal fistfight unless his health is already rock bottom). Iguazu will take full control and banish both ALLMIND and Ayre, leaving it a 1V1. His ranged attacks are of course an issue, but his speed skyrockets, and he gets VERY aggressive with his melee weapons. If you have assault armor on, wait for him to get within instant *_”I’m-Gonna-F-K-You-Now (literally and metaphorically) distance”_* and drop the full brunt of the blast right in his face. That should stagger him immediately if he’s close enough without firing a round. Try to not take any unneeded damage, nd try to finish the fight ASAP before he overwhelms you with his melee blitzkrieg. He’s fast, so try to keep a bead on him and not waste your ammo.
This boss really reminds me of Sister Friede. 2 decently difficult phases that will wittle down your resources, before the insanely difficult phase 3 that you have to do with little healing, and especially in AC6 with little ammo.
This really have the vibe of DRAGON QUEST 11 where you find out that it's actually the prequel of all the games before.
I'm hoping for remakes of the old games lol hopefully I'd still be alive to witness it.
So... Walter was piloting the HAL. His own personal AC. I wonder if he scavenged it from institute city before the fight, or if he was keeping it secret all along. Either way, the Walter we fight at the end of Ayre's ending isn't himself.
It's also possible he knew of it, or only found it, after the events of the Institute City fight. Keep in mind that you taking out V.II Snail meant he didn't get captured, so during the time skip he presumably was working more directly together with Carla and would have been able to put that sort of thing together.
@@echomjp that’s true, I kinda forget about the time skip. It’s kinda hard to know how much time passes. It doesn’t feel like that long but Arquebus finishes work on the vascular plant so it must have at least been a few days or even weeks. Idk. The whole capture sequence is really hard to understand tbh. Like you either get abducted by the bright light and then all kind wakes you up on the xylem, or you get thrown into a sewer for some reason and they just leave you unguarded to hop in an AC that was left there so you can escape. Tbh how does 621 even get in the AC? I thought they were totally immobile due to the augments

@@moadsnake104 I figured 621 had just enough of his physical abilities left to be able to crawl along the ground in the prison "escape" scene, and Walter clearly arranged for his escape (how, and why he couldn't save himself too, I don't know). Maybe he knew where 621 would be kept prisoner somehow and had an insider (maybe Carla worked her magic with her minions) prepare the AC and help break him out, but couldn't actually carry him to the AC itself.
A lot of things in the story of this game are kept vague, but I think that's fine.

We were both down to our last slivers of AP. I was doing the classic dodge, jump, and gun maneuver. Ran out of ammo in my right hand weapon. Pressed the right trigger on reflex. My AC lunged forward and finished Iguazu off with a punch to the head unit.
It was awesome.
Fuck, that's why the combat log system exists in-story, and why Allmind rewards you with Allmind brand parts. You're helping her gather data/minds while also eliminating possible obstructions.

No, I believe the ending just means that the humans on Rubicon got transported to other worlds by the coral. So humans that want to live in harmony with the coral are immediately going to war with the rest of humanity.

Listen, of all moments in this masterpiece. Nothing compares to the moment Ayre pulls up to this battle. I was genuinely so excited, I could dominate with my coral waifu alongside me. Unforgettable.
So I saw spoiled on this in my recommends like a day or so ago and I was like "sucks but yeah that makes sense" since I was on my NG++ and it seems to be ALLMIND was gearing up to be a main plot now.
But I never in a million years would've guessed Iguazu would be the final boss.
Whenever I saw him in the game I just went "oh ok, he's like the joke character of this game like Patches in a Fromsoft game".
With the way people talked about him in comments weeks ago I also thought he was a recurring Fromsoft character.
The fact that I was spoiled on the final boss but also wasn't makes me love this final conflict.

C4-621 (LOADER 4 OMEGA)
This boss fight is unlocked after all endings are completed requires all arena battles and collectables collected, meaning OS Tuning, parts, weapons, logs, everything.
After completeing and collecting everything, you will get a special message from ALLMIND about a paradox in it's system. The moment you go to the arena, you will see this entry: Ω//04: C4-621. You are so powerful that you surpass the rankings.
The boss fight has far more advanced AI, utilizing everything at their disposal and is essentially fighting a far more skilled version of yourself.
The LOADER 4 OMEGA is a refurbished version of the original LOADER 4. All of the parts are brand new, fresh, and upgraded, evident by its large 6-digit AP, and improved specs as they are more balanced, merely copying the design as an asthetic choice. It utilizes some altered armaments unique to this AC and additional armaments:
It's "assault rifle" is more akin to the Gatling Gun, having a higher rate of fire, more damage, and unlimited ammo, though is usually fired in bursts of 200 rounds.
The pulse blade is far more dangerous, with an almost guaranteed ACS BREAK in it connects and additional hit follow-up.
The initial missile launcher is of a different model and now launches far more missiles, from 4 to 50. Uncharged, each missile will ascend far above, then target your current location at that point, with a small delay before each missile. Charged, they will launch horizontally and move as fast as bullets.
It gains the ashmead pilebunker (death spike) as a secondary.
Unlike other ACs, it can use all types of expansion, has an FCS that is extremely effective with 100 at all ranges and missiles, and a powerful generator.

I finished this fight by catching him with Walter's sword from the back. My energy bar fully depleted, so G5 Incel did his stupid final futile charge at a wierd angle, which i dodge out of (yeah, it's unnesecary, but who cares, it's awesome!) And then proceeded to fly up. The last shot of gameplay is me ascending to the coral release while he falls into the voids of space outside the blasted hell that Rubicon became.

She's probably the most plot proactive "waifu" Fromsoft has ever created.
So as an oldschool AC fan I can’t help but notice all the ALL MIND tech here has green energy flowing through it, like it’s green colored Coral.
Now I’m not saying it’s Kojima Particles because it’s probably not but…
Or maybe it’s green because it’s stained with Iguazu’s salty envy.
I'm pretty sure green energy here is all mind itself probably an augmented AI through a coral rather than a human being just a theory though.

when i beat the handler boss the first run i unlocked his armor, but didn't get ayre or all mind. There might be ways to unlock them. I'll check my unlocked armors.

I beat all 3 endings and only one of which gives you the boss armor which is liberation of Rubicon ending
@@pintobean6702 You can definitely get Ayres AC parts. Its called the EPHEMERA.
I know that soon PC modding will let us play as the bosses unique AC, but like damb it feels like such a missed mark not getting like all the boss AC for getting the true ending.
Like I would LOVE to reply missions with the Allmind AC or balatus
