I did the liberator ending first. And then realized. Oh crap I gotta hurt Ayre now. Even for those that don't simp for her it hurt. It hurt more than fighting rusty. I couldn't even get mad any time she beat me. Girl just wanted to live and save her people. But I had to to get the true route which im still working on. .... All that aside though frickin AWESOME fight.
You missed the bit of dialog during the ECM fog mission. after the 3rd one she points out that comms with Walter will be back after we disable the last one, but that the last jammer isn't going anywhere so we can take our time. Couldn't help but smile at that one
And the second you finish clearing the area, Walter's call finally connects, and he warns you that the PCA are nearly on top of you. Now, who tipped off the PCA? Who *definitely* doesn't want a fully-operational Xylem in the hands of Overseer? Who has this level of information access? Who is such a skilled hacker that she can find, and subsequently break into, Allmind's secure files in a matter of seconds?

Makes me think something about the connection between coral and human causes them to become extremely attached to their humans. I mean saria (dolmayans coral voice) was fine with him having to smoke her kind just so they can talk. And it takes killing the species for Ayre to turn on you.
It makes sense since the coral is sharing your brain waves, meaning they get to sense and feel everything you do. They basically get to experience having a body, "a shared life".

I don’t think he entirely understood what she was saying, sounding like a ringing in the ears, and when he finally fully tuned into the coral frequency he was finally able to understand here.

she's also a perfect foil to Walter, especially at the beginning of the game. She's gentle and cares about your wellbeing, as opposed to Walter's cold and callous dialogue.
5:11 If you wait some time here before interacting with the access point she will have extra dialogue, telling you that the name "NEPENTHES" of the artillery cannon is also the name of an extinct genus of plants and that you should look them up sometime. I'll leave the googling to you.

They'll be able to essentially live forever so long as their existence isn't devoured or burnt away, but it's unclear whether or not they're still truly themselves as they are now part of a collective and may not retain their own sentience. It's just an example of Fromsoft storytelling - we have a billion piece puzzle and only a fraction of the pieces needed to complete it. Especially when Ayre calls herself a Rubiconian, yet ALLMIND identifies her as an entity born from a mutation in the Coral that ignited when 621 destroyed the collector. So it's unclear whether she calls herself a Rubiconian because she was actually born on Rubicon and somehow disembodied herself, or whether she was a mass of Coral that mutated and she only calls herself a Rubiconian because the Coral she was born from was from Rubicon.
Just goes to show that men will simp over anything that gives them the slightest bit of affection and kindness. Even a voice in their head. I most certainly would, I'd exchange horrible voices for a soft gentle voice in my head.

Like fr do you think our lobotomite is gonna have an easy time navigating all the maps and figure out stuff all by themselves (including detecting enemies)? Easy examples that pop up on top of my head are investigating the underground depths, xylem related missions, and coral related missions. Also SPOILERS she actually fights alongside you in a boss fight tho only temporary but that goes for every ally unfortunately. What would I give to have a full map with Ayre and Rusty at the player's side

In the end I just opted for Walter and Carla cause it was 2vs1 character I liked and it still broke my heart having to fight her and her dying words. I was not expecting the level of affection Ayre gave us, and I think the mission at exploring Xylem was the "Oh, wait, she LIKES me likes me." moment. At first I thought she'd treat me the way Walter did, a means to an end. I ended up being wrong about both of them. Which made just about every ending miserable for me.
I kinda adore how despite Ayre being the sweetheart of Rubicon she also is completely okay with (and occasionally encourages) killing, she understands that 621/Raven is a merc, she isn't trying to pull a "stop all this violence PLEASE" shes more like "Raven sweetheart can you kill that guy? For me please? I'll sell whats left of him to make sure get cash for this!"

You forget the mission when we're at the floating city for the first time, our comms with Walter was jammed by the fog and she said it's been a while since we were alone together and then wanted us to "take as long as we need". And then when we destroyed the fog machine she sounded sad because now Walter's coming back online. Cutest moment imho.
The Xylem mission is the best one, She likes the routine and she also says you should wait a bit before activating the beacon so its just you two for a bit before you get Walter back.

Glad im not the only one that found her attractive af, and was surprised when she eventually came in with some voicelines that made her sound like she has a crush on us, like "its been a while since we have been by ourselves on a mission, take your time raven" and I was like "whaaaaaat did you just say???" It will be very hard for me to complete the other endings, cause that probably means killing/betraying her, I havent looked at spoilers, but I really dont wanna do it💀
NG++ is the best experience with her because ALLMIND isnt around. You need to get the second ending for it tho. I feel like the game till NG++ is the full story of Ayre, 621 and ALLMIND repeating time. Ayre tells you that she feels like she have known you before when you first made contact and ALLMIND just remembers you.

Also the game honestly wants you to do the bad ending first because on NG+, lots of new story choices supports the good ending. I definitely didn't expect Ayre in story. It's a classic trope to have a sweet woman character change the protagonist's path in the story, but I think it works remarkably well here.
My most favorite line from her honestly. Gave the implication that she is with us for the rest of our life onward. Or she become one with our AC since all the coral beings take abandon ACs as their physical body on the true ending.
Many dates were had with my Coral waifu and the adventure (hopefully) continues, very happy with the clear romance implications from FromSoft as usual. My favourite is when she tells you to take your time since you're alone together and Walter isn't around on the Xylem survey mission.
you forgot the best part where she asks you to take your time in the Xylem survey mission, because she wants to spend more alone time with you and Walter will be back online if you deactivate all the fog generators

Pretty sure coral itself can have its own consciousness as well. Pretty sure thumb dolmyan had his own coral waifu before the fires of ibis because he was snorting coral.
Since Ayre can control machines that runs in coral, then they can just go further research coral and see if a person that has a symbiosis with coral can be taken over by ayre or they can just make an android waifu, you know just for research purposes. HEHEHEHE.

Hearing Ayre’s voice as the system coms in Alea acta Est made me happy, like, they’re completely together now. Raven and Ayre forever. I don’t think anything could’ve made me feel more trust in the good intentions of the Coral as a species, or empathy for it, than Ayre having this crazy magnetic personality. She’s probably my favorite From Soft lady, and there’s some really stiff competition there, I think Dks3 Firekeeper is like, way up there too.

They'll be able to essentially live forever so long as their existence isn't devoured or burnt away, but it's unclear whether or not they're still truly themselves as they are now part of a collective and may not retain their own sentience. It's just an example of Fromsoft storytelling - we have a billion piece puzzle and only a fraction of the pieces needed to complete it. Especially when Ayre calls herself a Rubiconian, yet ALLMIND identifies her as an entity born from a mutation in the Coral that ignited when 621 destroyed the collector. So it's unclear whether she calls herself a Rubiconian because she was actually born on Rubicon and somehow disembodied herself, or whether she was a mass of Coral that mutated and she only calls herself a Rubiconian because the Coral she was born from was from Rubicon.

Also SPOILERS she actually fights alongside you in a boss fight tho only temporary but that goes for every ally unfortunately. In the end I just opted for Walter and Carla cause it was 2vs1 character I liked and it still broke my heart having to fight her and her dying words. I was not expecting the level of affection Ayre gave us, and I think the mission at exploring Xylem was the "Oh, wait, she LIKES me likes me." moment. At first I thought she'd treat me the way Walter did, a means to an end. I ended up being wrong about both of them. Which made just about every ending miserable for me.
I kinda adore how despite Ayre being the sweetheart of Rubicon she also is completely okay with (and occasionally encourages) killing, she understands that 621/Raven is a merc, she isn't trying to pull a "stop all this violence PLEASE" shes more like "Raven sweetheart can you kill that guy? For me please? I'll sell whats left of him to make sure get cash for this!"
Unless you go for the “Fires of Raven” ending where you’re attempting to completely extinguish her species.

To be honest, I just love how she identifies as Rubiconian even when she's not human. She's born in rubicon, therefore, she's a rubiconian, just of another species.

NG++ is the best experience with her because ALLMIND isnt around. You need to get the second ending for it tho. I feel like the game till NG++ is the full story of Ayre, 621 and ALLMIND repeating time. Ayre tells you that she feels like she have known you before when you first made contact and ALLMIND just remembers you.

Also the game honestly wants you to do the bad ending first because on NG+, lots of new story choices supports the good ending.
