game 5 they held veiler for the second effect because a lot of the time infernoble can just make a second isolde and then do the second effect anyway, which is the much better one
Yeah, I feel like most people don't know that the second effect of Isolde is hopt, first one is sopt. Unless the deck is badly constructed or you bricked horribly, you'll barely ever be completely dependent on the first soft add to continue your plays, but if someone ashes/veilers that, you can just make the second one and do your actually important hopt play. Also holy shit somehow I only noticed now that Isolde doesn't even have the fucking "cannot be used as link material" shit any link 1/2 of this caliber should have on it to be not banned. So if you veiler its first effect, it's literally "get any warrior on the board by any other way, and you're gucci". Jesus. Yugioh is so broken.
@mian6788 it was at my little local duelist league during 03/04 time frame, mostly because we didn't have a lot of cards to play with (pulls/trades). It was harder to get singles.
Going first was the important factor in this match up which brigades did I'm actually impressed how many times brigades opened nib/their outs in these 5 games tho lmao
When using revolt, tri brigade should always chain block nervall's search with shuraig and if possible chain block shuraig with kitt, didn't matter in this game but could be relevant in the future Also missing game in g5 by summoning kerass instead of fraktall is funny, but could've cost them the match
Great match. Ultimately neither deck was able to break serve going second, but the handtrap war was really interesting. Next matchup, it's time to unleash the Beast 2.0. Kashtira is definitely more vulnerable to an upset than Tear, but they have a huge silver bullet in Shifter. DLink pretty much has to just hope Kash doesn't open it or they open the called by to negate. Probably a match neither deck is going to win going second bar Shifter exactly.
You could have won game 3 if you put nib token to atk. You attack it with your nib use lightning storm then summon pank and you have aqua dolphin to rip from hand.
I’m happy to see Dragon Link in the bracket, but not so happy to see that it’s replacing BASED. Honestly, I would rather it have replaced a deck we’ve seen a bunch of times already, like Adamancipator or Swordsoul, or just make it a Challenger Approaching deck. Although I suppose the bracket was too far along for the first option
I found out that tri player can always easily go for game by SS any L3 plus 1 to make access. But he keeps going for route which might fall into nib for no reason
3rd game you could have just summoned nibiru token in atk mode and crash your nibiru to storm in mp2, always put nibiru token in atk when you play cards like storm/pankra
If we look at tri zoo's endboard, it's just the same board snake eye, also with infinite grind and decent abilty to play through hand traps, so it's not hard to see how they contributed lol
frustrating series. game 3 if you knew youd draw lightninght storm you just hold on to nib, storm back row to force it then summon pank to out the link 2 and full combo with called by the grave (i think?) game 5 he doesnt even otk after all that evenly resolves and you top deck imperm unlucky
If only you could know that you would draw lightning storm: you could have not nibbed, just lightning stormed first, forcing their trap to summon 4 and link with it =5 summon; and you can nib on your turn and do full infernoble combo.
@@siphemanana2551probably not without a heavy errata cause milling equips, especially phoenix blades in the TCG where that’s still legal to cheat any warrior out the deck and start comboing like mad will always be ridiculous
Lithium I really hope you see this comment because you are using the wrong Last Will Errata in the Exodia Deck. The first Last Will text said: Instead of 1 monster sent to the graveyard in this turn, 1 monster with 1500 attack power or less can be put out on the field from the deck. That means that it not only triggered for every monster that was sent to your GY it also triggered if a monster was sent to your GY from anywhere and not just from your field. So Last Will + Graceful Charity discarding 2 monsters is an FTK. The Version you used in the video was introduced after the Exodia Tier 0 Format along with the Sangan and Witch Errata we know today. So this Exodia deck was even stronger than what you showed us last time.
Both of these lists are complete dogshit and cannot go 2nd at all (I know lithium doesnt make them, just saying). Whoever wins the dieroll has a 99% chance to win G1, then both decks have a chance to win going 2nd post side. But I'm just gonna say 3-1 to whoever wins the dieroll to be honest.
Pre-recorded video!

I remember smoke granite, blast with chain in old gearfried control, and also used in inzektors too.
I think gearfried control only became a thing after goat format was revived though, don't remember anybody playing it in 2005

Doesn't really work anymore

Estuvo bueno el dueno, muy frenético. Infernoble, de mis decks favoritos de todos los tiempos.

I love these cups solid video I appreciate your work
Yo that game 5 was the craziest game 5 this crossbanlist so far. Insane
Huh
I found out that tri player can always easily go for game by SS any L3 plus 1 to make access. But he keeps going for route which might fall into nib for no reason
Smoke grenade + gearfried has a deck in GOAT but I'm not sure whether is something that was a thing back then or just some modern experimentation
Oh, it was absolutely a thing even slightly before goat format
why doesn't the tri zoo deck have drident access? I remember it was legal for a while
only for a very small time, deck continued to be played without it for the most part of its lifetime
Lithium just chose a list withthout her

My goats would never lose to the inferfrauds 🗣
❤
no respect nibiru for tri-brigade
2020 and 2021 were both some of my least favorite years to ever play this game.
Both of these decks were big contributers to that lol
If we look at tri zoo's endboard, it's just the same board snake eye, also with infinite grind and decent abilty to play through hand traps, so it's not hard to see how they contributed lol
Really unlucky by the knights.

going first matters a lot here

7:58 modern yugioh :)
Any decks 2019 and beyond tend to follow the pattern newer is better. I didn’t know either deck, but figured the newer one will likely fare better
I miss isolde
Same, we still have her in MD tho.
Will she ever come back to the TCG?

Judging by the favorite, he may be fixing that :)
@@dakota9399Yeah hopefully so we can finally see how incredibly stupid that deck truly was ^^
