I have never actually rested my entire palm on my mouse. This is either because, my hands are too big or because it makes it easier to lift the mouse. So I really think I could live with this mouse but I won't draw conclusions till I've used it myself. The keyboard doesn't have enough spacing between the keys for my liking. I'm a fan of island-style keyboards.
Interesting device, but it's so small I wonder how comfortable it is to use for extended periods of time when most of your hand is hovering over empty space.
It's a bummer that it doesn't come with a carrying case like the Bluetooth Wireless Mouse 5000. For those who are on the go, that thing will get full of scratches in no time. Thanks for the review though.
I like and also hate this mouse. I love it's portability, good battery life and ease of use. However I dislike to use it longer times as my finger get sore because of it's very small size. It's good "on-the-go" device though. I think I should've gotten Arc mouse.
"LOOKS uncomfortable" doesn't make sense. It's designed to be TOUCHED. And if you got a tablet, it means you're a mobile guy and carrying a desktop mouse or even a laptop mouse defeats the purpose. This Wedge is perfect for tablets as you can see and hear in this review.
Scrolling is backwards!!! On a touchscreen, swipe to the left and the screen moves to the left. On the wedge, swipe to the right and the screen moves to the left. What?!?!?? WHY?!!?
I use a laser, heavy, wired mouse with 7 buttons. This is exactly the opposite of mine. Wireless/bluetooth (less performance), optic(less performance), you can't rest your palm on it and it's too light (uncomfortable) touch screen (I dislike), I like wireless devices because it's comfortable with less wires, but wireless mouses burns the battery to fast, I won't use a wireless mouse anytime soon, unless super capacitors with graphene are invented for mainstream use.
Hmm... You handle this "mouse" with a very unnatural hand behaviour. It's like a "pinch", with two fingers on the side of the mouse, without any palm resting. I think it could lead to some hand pain, especially for prolonged use. IMHO, the best solution EVER is a graphic tablet with a pen, that is the most natural and comfortable device for the hand; but yes, I understand that it's not the best choice for size and portability. Anyway, I'm extremely uncertain about this new device.
I do. Why the heck not? SP2 works as good on-the-go device, works as laptop and can be used as full desktop with dock. Obviously CAD-programs really aren't only cases of hideous/impossible to use on touchscreen.
Isn't it terrific that everyone connected to the interWeb is a review expert. And an unboxing master
Your point being...?
Isn't it terrific.
is it not too small, especially for larger hands ?
did anyone else notice this at 3:50 "sex helped 600 pound lady lose weight " . i stopped the video and read it . lolz
you have eagle eyes dude :)
Lol
this mouse is strictly for casual navigation.
also not recommended to people with somewhat larger hands. the mouse is quite small
I tried this mouse and it's so high end and sleek but I had troubles scrolling, it wasn't as smooth as I was expecting
That's the kind of reviews you'd like to see
Great review man, you went through the entire thing, well done dude!
is it better than the microsoft arc mouse?

Helpful video. Thinking about buying one of these and this helped to me to confirm that it will do the things that I want it to do with my tablet.
Thank you for sharing this video. still applicable!
But you're more precise when you use the mouse (unless you have a digitizer like on the galaxy note series, those are probably even faster)
Just picked one up on Amazon for approximately 12$ USD! Great mouse!

Can you click on the scroll (middle bar) to be able to pan in 3D softwares ?
from the size it looks to uncomfortable, is that true?
your pretty skilled at using your zanpakuto.
So can you bring up charms and swipe through apps by swiping from the edges of this mouse?
I used the click on the scroll button for some softwares, is that feature able with this mouse?
What about 2, 3 & 4 finger functions?
Is it available??
I don't think that it's multi-touch. It's just a mouse with two virtual scroll wheels (Vertical and Horizontal)

I agree with EPTXgamer. Love the vidros , but constantly have to turn my volume all the way up for you lol
Thanks for this! I was just checking out the mouse, but I learned how to connect BT devices, too! I was doing it the hard way... lol
Is it comfortable to hold and use it? it seems so small

I know you say its smooth, but it doesn't look smooth. Is that just your capture software?
Good review man, thanks!
Thanks

Very informative. Thanks for the info!

Nice review, how big is that monitor?
There is no 3D holographic display either, and they forgot a teleporter! I am disappointed too.
Disappointed to not see gestures. Does it not support 2 and 3 finger gestures, or have you just neglected to show us?
very cool but little small
Microsot?

Best review ..
Dude why are you testing a Microsoft mouse on anything other than Windows 10?
Thumbs up for Ichigo!
you are faster, when you use the touch
Well it's Microsoft. I don't expect great design from them to begin with.
it would be so much easier using a roller wheel to school
awesome video

ohh its a real mouse. It look like the magic pad...lol
why mouse when you can just touch on the screen? lol
Drafting documents, video editing, video games. Touchscreens aren't as functional as a mouse
ultimatedirtclod I think he was talking more about the tablet.
***** Even then. Some people claim you can do everything with touchscreen. It's total BS. You can't use ie. CAD-programs with touchscreens.
jothain
Who would use a CAD program on a tablet?
I do. Why the heck not? SP2 works as good on-the-go device, works as laptop and can be used as full desktop with dock. Obviously CAD-programs really aren't only cases of hideous/impossible to use on touchscreen.
Dat
Someone watches Bleach ;)
Wow...ichigo...bleach !!! d(^o^)b
Stupid design, one of the worst i have ever seen from microsoft.
its so damn ugly and bulky. why can't they learn from APPLE design.
