I have a couple thoughts about the Surface Arc Mouse. I have one, and I also own quite a few gaming mice. I've gotten used to the comfortable form factors and lovely support that having side buttons gives, however I can say safely that these two mice are in entirely different categories for entirely different reasons. 1. Not all mice are gaming mice, not all gaming mice are portable mice. Portability means the ability to not have to deal with a trackpad when you're out and about, were space and lightweightness matters. The arc design allows the mouse to fit in a pocket and weighs slightly less than an apple magic mouse, and the rubber coating around it means I have no fear of putting it next to a phone. Portability wise, it can also fit in small bag compartments, which is also a significant upside. The gaming mice I have, I also have a carrying case with me so I don't have to worry about scratching or ruining the mouse, as well as keeping the cables managed. With the Arc Mouse this isn't a thing. While it's of course not as accurate as other mice you could get, that's not the reason for getting it. Anyone who does heavy photo editing, or something requiring lots of precision has portability as their last concern. This mouse is built for people who want to browse the internet, read some emails, and do productivity work like going through spreadsheets, for which it is great 2. The scrolling. While the input lag on the scrolling is noticeable (Only for small movements oddly enough, big flicks are actually wonderful.) it is also not as finnicky as it may sound. The input lag on the scrolling doesn't appear to be because of the bluetooth, but appears to be a fault of the trackpad not wanting to pickup unwanted gestures in an inefficient manner, which means when you stop scrolling, it stops scrolling, which is the center of how controlled a mouse feels 3. Build Quality. Anyone who says the mouse feels cheap doesn't seem to understand the idea of portability. The only thing that could feel cheap about it would be how tight the rubber is to the main body. Given how the rubber helps hide the hinges, I don't consider this to be an issue, I consider it to be part of what's needed to achieve the design. 4. Compared to the Arc Touch, I feel like there are a few pros and cons of each mouse. While the Arc Touch mouse is lovely due to it's dedicated buttons (Which might I add, I do occasionally miss when I decide to play light light videogames with it because it's around), the buttons don't reach *all* the way to the end, which could prove to be a small issue. The scrolling is great, but a lack of horizontal scrolling isn't that great. 5. Ergonomics. Don't hold this like a regular mouse, that's dumb, it's not a regular mouse. The way I decide to hold a mouse would be to hold the mouse up, and pretend I'm using it on a floating table. that leaves my thumb and ring finger on the sides of the mouse which give is support and control quite comfortably due to the arch. This is a mouse to Claw, it is not a mouse to palm. While you can palm it and it's fine, it's best used in a claw grip. TL;DR every major issue with the mouse is a lot better when you put it in the context of "Right it's not a daily driver mouse." What you're really paying for is the ease of use and easy setup with swift pair, the intuitiveness of arcing the mouse to turn it on, and the satisfactory click that has turned the mouse from a pointing device to a 60-70 dollar fidget toy.
i must also say it slides horribly on any kind of surface due to the edged plastic corner on the back,, mousepad or not, even a laptop trackpad would be better
I went to a tech school for architectural and mechanical drafting back in highschool and I used the original Arc Mouse for all of my drafting and 3d modeling. I loved it, and I absolutely love the Surface Arc Mouse.
You know that when a man biased towards a product slams it, there's a problem. (personally i agree with every point, including loving the design, but as someone who does need high accuracy mousing and is used to gaming mice, it's straight up unusable.)
No, as a matter of fact ok, you don't 'need need' it. You just 'need' it. Also I never said I needed the gaming mouse for gaming, actually it's mostly for CAD. And what other pointing device are you hinting at? I'm intrigued.
I am also obsessed with this mouse. As a college student and a sci-fi design junkie, the arc mouse is perfect. The bending on and off is next level. And when it's flat it fits so perfectly in the front pocket of the surface cases sold at the Microsoft store. But in the first 2 minutes of using it at the store I realised it would strain my hand too much. I have a Logitech basic mouse and I grip the sides more than any part of the mouse to use it. Since the arc mouse is so flat I had to strain my fingers to grip the edges of it and even tho my hands are small for a dude. I was starting to cramp. It's not a bad idea at all. And if you are on the go constantly between the airport, the office, the coffee shop, the library, in class, I can see the arc mouse being invaluable in those instances where you sit for 15 min to an hour in one spot before having to pack up and move. After watching this review however. I think I'll just use the track pad on my surface type cover and wait for Microsoft to fine tune the Arc mouse idea. Or come out with a new portable mouse. I think the arc mouse can be more comfortable if the angle of the arc was different and if the overall size was a tad bigger. If not overall bigger, just make it wider. Again love the design and the idea.
I have the Arc Touch Mouse myself, and based on what you're saying about this version of the product, perhaps you should look into the touch mouse yourself. Instead of a single trackpad, it has the more traditional 3 discrete button form-factor, with the middle-mouse button being replaced by a touchpad that works similarly to a traditional mouse-wheel. It's also about 20 bucks cheaper and can take a beating. Mine has taken spills onto concrete and has so far lasted me about 4 years. It's the same arc design, so it won't fix your ergonomics issues, but I've always seen portability and ergonomics as mutually exclusive engineering goals anyway.
How is the horizontal scrolling tho? I had the original Arc Mouse (w/ USB Adapter back then) and the horizontal scrolling on the middle glass scroll doesn't even work once on mine therr
@@mancerrss No horizontal scrolling that I'm aware of. Honestly doesn't come up much, but if that's something you think you'd need you'll probably want to go with the newer model. Just, you know, bear in mind what the reviewer had to say about it.
I have the arc mouse as my “on the go mouse” I just keep it in a pen holder in my backpack and use it whenever I go to a coffee shop, library, or class. When I get home I have a dedication desktop to use for long periods of time. Oh and the arc mouse helps so much when I use my surface book in tablet mode. It saves a lot of time to right click instead of press and hold or using the pen.
exactly! That's how I use mine as well! Sadly, it isn't compatible with Android even though it's Bluetooth. It's a really stupid proprietary system, absolutely not worth $50.
The first generation of the ark moose was great. It had both dongle and Bluetooth versions, and had physical buttons. The scroll pad was a touch pad rumbled when used, and it had a magnet on it for the dongle. It was pretty good for gaming and other stuff, and last for years. That one is long gone.
I unironically like the Apple Magic Mouse because it has scrolling capability over almost the whole surface of the mouse, and the side to side scrolling is really good
I had the same idea, but after a while, I would rather use the touch screen of surface pro and that tiny touchpad of type cover than the goddamn mouse.
I picked up this mouse and loved it until I realized how limited it was, I got really lucky that the store had one of the older ones in a junk bin and gave it to me for free when I asked if they still had any of the previous version.
You can get three logitech M317s for the price of one surface arc. I've packed a version of the 317 all around the world (twice) in a laptop bag and I gave it to my parents to use on their home PC after--they're old and barely use a computer so it was perfect. It worked for over 10 years before I had to replace it for them.
My dad had one of those like 8 years ago when windows 7 was still the main Windows I think or at least when Windows 8 was fresh. It had regular buttons and a scroll wheel instead. It had a Bluetooth USB that would magnetically stick under it
There are a couple of other issues with the mouse. - When you bend the mouse, there are only two tiny, horizontal "pad" things that slide on the surface of your desk or mousepad. In the video, he's using a mouse pad and so he wouldn't have this problem, but if you are someone who just uses the mouse on your desk without a mousepad, you will find that the tiny surface that actually makes contact with the desk very quickly gets gunky, no matter how clean you keep your desk. Consequently, the mouse does not slide on your desktop, but starts to stick. Then, you have clean this gunk off the mouse with a coin or something to get it to slide again. This is very unpleasant. - It can be glitchy, which is evidently something to do with interference from your router, but there are alternative theories about why it's glitchy. Support might ask you to reinstall drivers, etc., and that may or may not help, but you know, this is the year 2022 and your mouse should just work, period. Personally, I think mine is getting interference from my headphones and my router, but who knows?
Dude, as someone who has always seen these in microsoft stores, and owned the surfacebook as well as the surface laptop studio (I do really like windows devices) I never knew you could fold this thing flat. Seriously. I've never seen it flat in marketing material, in store, in use (of course) etc. Also it turning off when flat is kind of genius. I'm alot more impressed by this mouse now and even more curious.
I love the mouse. It’s simple. It works. And it stashes well. PS: Judging from the comments, it seems half the issue is that it’s not insanely accurate or specialized. I’m not sure it was made with high precision artists, gamers, or anything like that in mind. It works perfectly as a general mouse and especially for travel. It works well in a snap and on the go. It works just right for me as a lawyer who needs to travel to different courthouses, clerk offices, etc. PSS: I haven’t had to change the batteries and it’s been a year and a half. I’ve used it almost every day.
Nice review. I purchased this arc mouse for a couple of reasons. First I purchased it knowing it will work with my new Microsoft Laptop 4 without needing a dongle in a USB port. Secondly, I love the material it made out of. It feels like the Laptop 4 material. Battery life is great, and I wanted something than those hard mouse options that have been around for years.
*I've had the Arc-mouse since it's first arrival (and have actually worn out a couple along the way!), in between I've tried a host of other mice (both bluetooth & cabled), and right now I'm on my first Arc Bluetooth mouse, and couldn't possibly be more satisfied with it's functions!* *(I've also bought and given my two sons their own Arc mice, in addition as a present to a good friend!) - I do a lot of work on pixel level with the Arc mouse, and in my opinion nothing comes even close in performance!*
Your video and editing is very good, however regarding this mouse.... I had the original Arc Mouse, then the Arch Mouse Touch (RF) and then the Arc Mouse Surface Edition (Bluetooth)... the first one (bendable inwards into a tiny ball) was stolen from my at university, the second one lasted me about 6 years through the end of university, and several work offices, but the last one I bought (the Bluetooth one) which was the previous design to this model you are reviewing, only lasted me a little over a year before dying on me (some sort of short circuit inside) and the quality was noticeably worse than the previous ones... specially the grey version which became an ugly stained mess in about a month of use.... I never had any issues with the form factor as I got used to the "Claw Grip" basically required for this type of mice, but the back of the design of the newest mouse (what you are reviewing) was made symmetrical instead of the narrower "tail" it used to have making it uncomfortable for my palm, but the biggest let down is that there is no way to use a Middle Click and Move which is essential for most 3D modeling software and manipulation... Fast forward today, I ended up buying the cheaper / uglier Microsoft Sculpt Comfort mouse, and I love it... even the side touch button is awesome to customize and turn it into something productive. I do miss the portability of the Arc series, but I can live with that, my Surface Book carrying case has enough space for the mouse and even the 100Watt Power Adapter.
I’ve never really liked to rest my entire hand on a mouse. I always sort of hold it in a fingertip grip with all my fingertips except my index- and middle finger resting on the sides. That’s what makes me think that this beautiful mouse and I will never be. It has no sides!
I've had the old version for 6 years, and updated to this version recently. I don't know how long you used the old version, but on mine, that scroll wheel you love so much , began to malfunction after a few years, which is why they changed it. So far, I find this version to be a definite improvement, because of that issue.
I have owned one forever, and trust me, if your bag for your surface is snug fitting this is the best option. It's really nice having something this small at school that isn't destroying my bag.
I have this mouse for my surface pro. It's not comfortable if you use it for long durations. Your right thumb kinda feels like it's hanging and the arch doesn't fit most hands comfortable. The track pad gets annoying sometimes cause on other mouses you can just rest 3 fingers and left click... but on this mouse, it automatically thinks your're pressing the middle button all the time. So you are constantly lifting your fingers up. It's a little annoying. The only upside to this mouse is the look and how well it travels.
I love the idea of a flat but bendable mouse. Give it more actual buttons and a scroll wheel, fix the arc, give it an optional wire, and why not lean into the design and push for it to be even thinner. This thing is perfect for super thin laptop bags.
You scroll by dragging both fingers on it. Works pretty well. The older ones had a scroll wheel (I have one of those ones) which I do like. It's technically a touch strip, but it gives off a little haptic rumble when you scroll so it feels nice and like you're actually physically scrolling
Wow, I bought a surface yesterday, and quickly realized that I needed a new mouse. I went and bought the arc mouse today and I absolutely and utterly *hate* it! Nowhere for my thumb and pinky to go, so I’m constantly just hovering them out to the sides. This makes for terrible cramps after just a few minutes, and also means that you have very little lateral control over the mouse. There’s no sensation of ‘resting’ your hand on this mouse at all. On top of this, it’s constantly trying to scroll when I’m just touching the buttons. This will be my fastest store return ever!
I came here because the scrolling stopped working, but as you described turning it off (which I knew how to do) and I tried it, and then turned it back on, the scrolling came back. Also, when I pressed the Bluetooth button, the LED light didn't go on, but eventually I did see the pop up to connect and it worked.
Thanks for sharing. I have tiny hands and will only be using it with one laptop. Honestly, I just think it looks beautiful. I had some cash back rewards from Dell that I used and I got it for only $31. Cant wait to receive it!
jugapugz It needs magnets, it’s used like twice in a year and it’s a completely useless detail that you don’t even notice. It will just bring the price up, by little of course but for the sake of easy design the “battery cap” is just as simple as it can be since it’s not a vital part of the product. So yeah, main reasons, cost and easy design.
I agree with just about everything said in this video. I got a surface arc mouse with my surface pro 7 thinking it looked interesting. While it does look nice and fit anywhere, using it isn't as practical as any other mouse I've used before. The shape of the mouse in your hand is awkward to move, and the right click is still annoying after getting used to it. Unfortunately, I fully regret purchasing the surface arc mouse. I'll continue to use my much cheaper and better logitech gaming mouse.
I am 6ft 6in and stopped this at the 2:30 mark simply because of the size. unfortunately that's one of the biggest factors is not having to compromise comfort for an "on-the-go" mouse. If anyone reading this comment has any product suggestions for a BT mouse for big hands, please drop a link 🙏
I use a Logitech vertical mouse, really good for RSI and to keep injury away. I'm not sure how this Microsoft mouse would match up to my ergo mouse. Functionality and ergonomics are more important than looks.
The surface arc mouse v1 I substantially better. I used it for nearly 2 years until it eventually died. It has separate left and right click buttons (the biggest problem with the new one as you can't rest your fingers on it) And has a haptic feedback touch scroll bar which is night and day better than the new one I have the new one as well. Used it for a couple months then decided to get the regular surface mouse and never looked back It isn't much thicker than this but has a traditional button layout that is much more comfortable for longer sessions and can be used for gaming Arc mouse you can't aim (right click) and shoot at the same time (left click) as there is only one mouse button Major oversight. Again didn't have this on the Gen 1 version. Btw the gen 1 came in a wireless usb and a bluetooth version so if you are looking for it the bluetooth one is part of the surface brand and worked great
Yeaa... At some point I too was considering this line of Mice for use with my SB2 for portability reasons but after testing it in a store I quickly came to the realization that, especially the Software, wasn't up to my expectations and the lack of additional buttons I _really_ frequently use wasn't helping either. Logitech Mice, and their Software, easily blew them out of the water. Not surprising though... The Logitech, unique?, *Gesture Function* that can be bound to any button except the two primary ones is a game breaking feature I couldn't live with anymore. Being able to bind up to five virtual buttons to a physical one opens so many possibilities when it comes to browsing the web, navigating the OS, and organizing Windows across multiple screens it's just not funny anymore.
@@yskuzi I mean, it's better, yeah, but no where close. Best Windows trackpad experience I've had is when I've installed Windows on a Mac. I mean, so it still is possible to make windows experience better.
I am still using the original bluetooth surface mouse with the middle buttons. Amazingly I don't have an issue with comfort using the mouse, but I get why it doesn't work for many folks. I am curious if the three-finger click works better than the middle click on the original. That said, the wide separated clicks on the original are easy and I have never had any issue using it.
This actually is the second gen. This time it is sort of a trackpad, though only for scrolling. The old ones had clicks buttons and a touch "scroll wheel"
If you anchor the heel of your hand behind the mouse you will discover just how good this mouse is. Point of fact Ho, any mouse will have the same advantage from simply anchoring your heel as described. Anything to help...........just trollin' ;)
I'm looking to get this for the sole reason of designing. I miss being able to swipe left and right in Adobe programs instead of clicking the scroll button, but for daily use I'll just switch back to my regular mouse. Do you think it'd be ok for that??
My first and last purchase of one of these was DOA, I wanted a small mouse for a mobile project and the "arc" making it feel bigger than it is, and "shrinks" when off was a big turn on. But when the only way to pair doesn't work, it's a chunk of plastic and soft touch junk.
very good review, i was too obsessed with the design and is looking for a good mouse ,but since i think i'm using it for long time learning in college, i might skip this one cuz the comfort issue u pointed out~ again, thx for the good review : )
It takes a few days to get used to the finger position. I'm using the older model, with the middle strip. I love everything about this thing, besides the middle strip, sometimes it has feedback, sometimes it doesn't, but the double tap is the weirdest... At least the middle button works though which is a must for anybody working in any graphical industry. So even though I would never want to go to the old clunky style mouse after falling head over heels for this super sleek battery saver, I cannot understand what's up with the new one and the 3 finger middle mouse. Who thought this was a good idea? If anyone at MS hardware ever sees this, please, do something good about the middle mouse. Oh and while you are at it, the surface pen needs TWO side buttons.... not one TWO :) There are reasons good the other brands have it, in fact I would include a scroll wheel on a surface pen 'PRO'.
Totally disagree with the title of this video. I have been using a version of the Arc mouse for 6 years, and love it. I find it extremely comfortable, have none of the ergonomic issues you encountered during the (I would assume limited) time you've used it, and the single biggest draw and purpose of the mouse is PORTABILITY which this mouse EXCELLS in. This is not meant to be a mouse for crazy gaming, or even purporting to be the best mouse in the world solely for desktop use. But this is an IDEAL mouse for use with a laptop both at home and that you constantly move around with on the go. My original Arc Mouse died after several years, and I'm glad I ignored this review and bought this updated version. I continue to love it.
Having to re-pair after connecting with another device appears to be a common problem with Microsoft Bluetooth mice. My Designer Mouse does the same thing.
I have it and I love it too. The one thing that I really wanna know is why does is have shittier reviews than the other surface mouses. It’s really hard for me to understand. It’s literally the most compact mouse of all time.
Wait, it's $79 for this version of the mouse? I have an older version that was $50 and it's pretty fantastic! I mean, it doesn't connect with my Android phone with absolutely stinks but, that's Microsoft's fault.
So they upgraded the design from the two physical buttons with a touch scroll area to heat-based touch control, just like the pretty old Apple Mighty Mouse and that did not even rely on this tech to scroll, because that you be too much suffering.
I buy it, it is not that good as the video!! But I still enjoy it(with its shape and texture) Nice video, u made me buy this mouse :) I think that it is the only video that explains about this mouse in the way I understand
I use mouse A LOT, and whenever I'm buying a new one, I always tried them beforehand. So the first time I see this mouse, my first thought was "what? That's bullshit" I just knew it would be very uncomfortable to use

Alex Pawlowski I think that’s just your phone fam. How old is it?
The first generation of the ark moose was great. It had both dongle and Bluetooth versions, and had physical buttons. The scroll pad was a touch pad rumbled when used, and it had a magnet on it for the dongle. It was pretty good for gaming and other stuff, and last for years. That one is long gone.
I unironically like the Apple Magic Mouse because it has scrolling capability over almost the whole surface of the mouse, and the side to side scrolling is really good
And the arc on it doesn’t suck :)))
Same here, now that I switched from MacBook to Surface, the Arc feels very similar to Magic Mouse, I cannot get used to other mouses
Mine is the Arc Touch, and I love It. Design over substance, however makes a big diference since I need to carry it everywhere I go.
I had the same idea, but after a while, I would rather use the touch screen of surface pro and that tiny touchpad of type cover than the goddamn mouse.
Just get a logitech mx anywhere smh
I picked up this mouse and loved it until I realized how limited it was, I got really lucky that the store had one of the older ones in a junk bin and gave it to me for free when I asked if they still had any of the previous version.
I have a couple of your issues, and still love this mouse. For me it's all about the portability.
If there was a version of this mouse with side buttons 4 and 5, I'd instantly buy it.
watched several videos on this mouse. yours was night and day better than all of them. keep doing what you're doing youre good at it
I love the mouse. It’s simple. It works. And it stashes well. PS:
Judging from the comments, it seems half the issue is that it’s not insanely accurate or specialized.
Very honest 👍 I'm in love with this design too! Hope to see a v2 some day! 🤟😁🤟
Awesome video, you took some great shots of the mouse! you've inspired me to do a comparison between the new and old arc mouse
*I've had the Arc-mouse since it's first arrival (and have actually worn out a couple along the way!), in between I've tried a host of other mice (both bluetooth & cabled), and right now I'm on my first Arc Bluetooth mouse, and couldn't possibly be more satisfied with it's functions!*
*(I've also bought and given my two sons their own Arc mice, in addition as a present to a good friend!) - I do a lot of work on pixel level with the Arc mouse, and in my opinion nothing comes even close in performance!*
looks good but is it great and worth the price?
Cool storytelling
The algorithm likes you now
I’ve never really liked to rest my entire hand on a mouse. I always sort of hold it in a fingertip grip with all my fingertips except my index- and middle finger resting on the sides. That’s what makes me think that this beautiful mouse and I will never be. It has no sides!
the old version is so much better. taptic feedback on the scroll "wheel" was heavenly"
I've had the old version for 6 years, and updated to this version recently. I don't know how long you used the old version, but on mine, that scroll wheel you love so much , began to malfunction after a few years, which is why they changed it. So far, I find this version to be a definite improvement, because of that issue.
is it more accurate than the trackpad? I have Surface Laptop 3 and the trackpad is no were as good as on MacBook so I'm eyeing this.
Great review! I find the Arc Mouse works netter on desk top with no mouse pad. Do you agree?
Thanks man just bought this and this is super helpful
I came here because the scrolling stopped working, but as you described turning it off (which I knew how to do) and I tried it, and then turned it back on, the scrolling came back. Also, when I pressed the Bluetooth button, the LED light didn't go on, but eventually I did see the pop up to connect and it worked.
Thanks for sharing. I have tiny hands and will only be using it with one laptop. Honestly, I just think it looks beautiful. I had some cash back rewards from Dell that I used and I got it for only $31. Cant wait to receive it!
seriously... no magnetic battery cap? the ms designer mouse has those...
jugapugz It needs magnets, it’s used like twice in a year and it’s a completely useless detail that you don’t even notice.
If anyone reading this comment has any product suggestions for a BT mouse for big hands, please drop a link 🙏
most aesthetic mouse ever
me sees Magic Mouse: where have I gone wrong, or have I?
I personally prefer this over the magic mouse.
It's more stylish, but I do think it looks uncomfortable...
The thing about the Arc is that it beats the surface touch pad and can fit with the surface pro in a sleeve case. There really isn’t any other choice.
Yeah, good point. Portability is definitely the best part, and it's really the only mouse I would consider actually carrying around.
This video is the only one in youtube that explains all about this mouse. (y) thanks.
I use a Logitech vertical mouse, really good for RSI and to keep injury away. I'm not sure how this Microsoft mouse would match up to my ergo mouse. Functionality and ergonomics are more important than looks.
Great!
I have one and I totally agree.
The surface arc mouse v1 I substantially better. I used it for nearly 2 years until it eventually died. It has separate left and right click buttons (the biggest problem with the new one as you can't rest your fingers on it)
And has a haptic feedback touch scroll bar which is night and day better than the new one
I have the new one as well. Used it for a couple months then decided to get the regular surface mouse and never looked back
It isn't much thicker than this but has a traditional button layout that is much more comfortable for longer sessions and can be used for gaming
Arc mouse you can't aim (right click) and shoot at the same time (left click) as there is only one mouse button
Major oversight.
It’s Microsoft and Apple fucked up with their mices. At least Apple does nice touchpad and Logitech does nice mouseZ

This is one of those products that would evolve really well over time. MS should make a trackpad and a second gen for this too
god no. this is shit. everything about it is shit. its a giant mistake
This actually is the second gen. This time it is sort of a trackpad, though only for scrolling. The old ones had clicks buttons and a touch "scroll wheel"
I've been so spoiled by my finalmouse with a great side grip shape. Also I could never use a mouse without an up to date pixart sensor.
Wow, great video again!
Thanks so much for watching!
The pairing issue you have is actually a limitation of bluetooth 4.0. If I remember correctly, 4.2 supports multiple devices.
very good review, i was too obsessed with the design and is looking for a good mouse ,but since i think i'm using it for long time learning in college, i might skip this one cuz the comfort issue u pointed out~
again, thx for the good review : )
Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the throughout review
Thanks for watching! 😊
Does pinch-to-zoom (like in a touchpad) work with the touch function of this mouse?
Oh and while you are at it, the surface pen needs TWO side buttons.... not one TWO :)
There are reasons good the other brands have it, in fact I would include a scroll wheel on a surface pen 'PRO'.
How has the decision that "right-click + a finger resting on the left side" should be a left-click come to be?
Nice video ..keep up the work
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for this. I was about to pick this up but it’s bad for people into gaming.
Can it switch between multiple desktops?
dosent the flat profile look like a slipper from the side?😀
Having to re-pair after connecting with another device appears to be a common problem with Microsoft Bluetooth mice. My Designer Mouse does the same thing.
hi, can that mouse operate well on glass surfaces?
Can be used in glass media?
I managed to buy this mice for 10€ in black. It certainly feels high quality but the lack of a dedicated back button is just heart breaking.
I have it and I love it too. The one thing that I really wanna know is why does is have shittier reviews than the other surface mouses. It’s really hard for me to understand. It’s literally the most compact mouse of all time.
I just ordered the pink one for 30 Euros. I call that a great deal. So excited to use it with my new MacBook Air since I can't stand the magic Mouse.
Will this mouse pair to a LG CX 48 OLED tv ?
Great review, thanks! Did you checked out the Surface Mobile mouse as well? Looks pretty good and compact as well and is a lot cheaper...
Is it possible to touch click? The noise is kind of loud on demo
would it be possible to connect the surface arc mouse with ipad pro (apple)?
Rechargeable instead of old school batteries?
You can do that too, but I found rechargable batteries to not last as long. So, I prefer these old school ones 😊
@@hoyoungwon Thanks
I like the idea but it’s too small. If it were bigger so you could actually rest your hand it would be great

Design is actually making something useful and functional in every aspect, not only aesthetically.
Wow. Apple sucks at design.
This looks incredibly obnoxious. Not the design necessary but the functionality
Wait, it's $79 for this version of the mouse? I have an older version that was $50 and it's pretty fantastic! I mean, it doesn't connect with my Android phone with absolutely stinks but, that's Microsoft's fault.
Might be the phone's fault. How old is your phone?

reading this on an hp omen 15 laptop
can you give us a link for the wallpaper?
I have big hands and majority of mices are build for like very tiny hands. It would be great for example if magic mouse 2 did slighly bigger model.
Bought the Surface mouse recently. Yes...it is quiet awkward. However, I'm enjoying it so far.
So they upgraded the design from the two physical buttons with a touch scroll area to heat-based touch control, just like the pretty old Apple Mighty Mouse and that did not even rely on this tech to scroll, because that you be too much suffering.
I buy it, it is not that good as the video!!
But I still enjoy it(with its shape and texture)
Nice video, u made me buy this mouse :)
I think that it is the only video that explains about this mouse in the way I understand
i have the old version. I love slappin it. people’s faces when I slap it are so funny
I use mouse A LOT, and whenever I'm buying a new one, I always tried them beforehand. So the first time I see this mouse, my first thought was "what? That's bullshit" I just knew it would be very uncomfortable to use
Enough said. Your review saved me 80 bucks. I need accuracy in my work.
Beautiful review.
