There are plenty of explanations on UA-cam and the website EvaGeeks to help you understand the ending. If you want, I could (try) explaining it to you aswell.
It's not very difficult to understand, it's very WTF but very simple in fact.
To summarize, Shinji accept the fact that is forced to love and live with other people to be happy and accepted. And so : loneliness is bad.

Not really my cup of tea, never been into mech anime. I've seen lots of the major ones, but I'm more into things like Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragon Ball

+MarklenIngyer It's not really mech anime like most people understand mech anime. It's really only mech anime-ish for the first 10 episodes. After that it's...different. Just trust me, you should watch it. I would barely classify it as a mech anime, as most of the show revolves around more internal struggle rather than eva's fighting. Especially the latter half of the show, where almost all conflict is from the inner self.

Bro I guarantee you if you spent only like 10(okay maybe upwards of 20) hours just diligently practicing this song you could get it... or like a week or two of like nothing but straight guitar playing maybe 20 hours is a literal too conservative but still it’s not that unattainable... naturally wanting to spend the next 100 hours of my free time learning a hard song doesn’t always attract me so I still can’t play finger style like this but I know if I sat down and put in the time I could man don’t put yourself down like that you have it in you
@@ishanator3819 You have to have a certain level of base skill to be able to pull this off within 20 hours or so. A beginner wouldn't get even close in 20 hours.

@@ishanator3819 Yeah that's totally possible. Honestly it would be pretty interesting to see how far a beginner would get with this piece. Personally I'm an intermediate guitarist with a few years of finger picking experience, and this one is really tough for me. Granted I lost interest after a couple of weeks. Might be able to pull it off decently with diligent practice.
I'm also just a hobbyist so my practice isn't very stringent. Someone more serious could easily pull this off with a few years of finger picking practice under their belt.

I really liked the dynamic contrast throughout...so many UA-cam covers, while technically excellent, lack in expression, but not this one. Congratulations!

Other than the Ukrainian Military Band covering this, I definitely think that this is my favourite cover of A Cruel Angel's Thesis. It's certainly the most beautiful, even when the aforementioned video had the most amazing dance ever to it LOL.

Okay, that's a magnificent guitar cover of A Cruel Angel's Thesis. Excellent work, keep up the musical genius.
I remember listening to this cover right when it was uploaded. Despite being an anime fan my whole life, at that point I hadn't watched Evangelion, nor had I heard this song before Tatsuya uploaded this cover, so this was the first time I had heard the song; I was mesmerized by the melody, despite not knowing anything about the song. Having watched part of Evangelion, it means so much more to me, but this cover is where it all started.
It's crazy how that was almost four years ago, and it's even crazier how a song that I heard with no context back then was the OP for an anime that would be my third favorite anime of all time. Life is strange and... beautiful.

Wow you are really good I absolutely love how you have transferred "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" onto acoustic guitar.I find acoustic guitar players that use the whole range of the guitar with complex and interesting chords are seen as masters of their instruments when put aside shredders who need to play a million notes a second to be seen as good. This is real guitar music!
I know that this is a bit too late, but they are different skill sets. Those shredders take thousands of hours to learn how to do this, like how this guy spent thousands of hours to do this. This is great, but so are some shredders, still your entiltiled to your opionon, so don't let me tell you what to beleve.
