- I have added bowed psalteries to my line of dulcimers. This one has 16 wrapped strings, with notes starting at G, below middle C.

Why would you have background music while playing a song? Cool instrument though and I think you demonstrated it well.
the back track was the only good thing about it.
I have always wondered. What would a psaltery sound like if you added a sound bar that connects the sound board to the back like a violin? Would you get a louder more stable sound like a violin? Nice playing.
Thank you for watching. I don't have an answer to your question. I ended up only making a few of them through the years. I did make quite a few dulcimers. I am surprised at how many people have watched this video through the years.
