When you started talking about wanting to look pretty around other pretty people, my first instinct was to say "NO! You are already beautiful"... And you are! But if doing something extra (like hair extensions) in the self-care area lets you feel MORE beautiful, then DO IT! You are exactly who you are, with and without the extras! Oh girl you’re so brave. My hair is so dead at this point. I’m growing out my brown so I can have healthy hair again! But I’m def going to bleach it again at some point in the future so I can do it again - the right way!
I’m doing the same, it may take til end of next year or at least a year from now (so august 2024) but I’ll have my natural color back, as well as length all over again (except my undercut). I just chopped it all off trying to play around and got impatient and indecisive as hell - hair ruined again! Sometimes I truly just never learn 😂 but I am excited to see my natural color on my whole head of hair for the first time in over 15 years! And if I wanna go lighter, I’m doing it the right way and being more patient. If I got to have orange hair, I will - plus I’ve grown to love that color on myself now so it won’t be that big of a deal! Wish you luck on your hair growth and when you decide to lighten it again that it goes smoothly with minimal breakage, or even damage!
@@mami11420 I just chopped mine off. Kind of on a whim but it’s now at my shoulders when it was halfway down my back. But I think it’s best for now to try and get rid of the damaged bits until it’s all over brown. I like the longer length but I like it being healthy more. Probably at least another 6 months and I think I will almost be there…but for now it’s cute and feels a ton better. And I still have some fun color! Good luck on your hair journey! I’m sure you look great with the orange hair! And we’ve learned from our queen 👑 that you can always use color theory to to neutralize it for a while, if needed!

Anytime I’ve needed to remove pink from my hair I mix 30 volume dev, baking soda, and dish soap together
I lather it in my dry hair and rinse it out and my hair is back to icy blond with no pink whatsoever

It came out great! I'm working up the courage and studying to bleach my own hair. I actually love the color the front pieces are at the end, with the tiniest hit of pastel pink. I just love blondes with a hint of color! It reminds me of a pearlescent hue. And yes please to your fave products & haircare routine! I hope you have a safe and fun trip Aislin!

I have a mullet with bangs and my bangs are ginger orange and the rest is black, I did this because my hair was damaged and wanted yo grow the back of my hair, but I still wanted a crazy color in my hair since I have a mullet I just bleached and dyed the bang area and I love it so much and my hair is long down to my chest and I had ginger orange bangs for almost 2 years. Dying the back of your hair black and keeping the front area colourful would be the right choice and you won't regret it.
Lol this video was my whole vibe for the last 2 weeks. I tried being nice to my hair and used color removers to remove my green & I swear it got more worse b4 it got better 😂 seriously just got fed up and did a quick bleaching to remove what was being stubborn, it worked tho and was able to get my hair light enough for my neon yellow 💛 Love the pep talk you give yerself ❤😂

Oh I’m so excited for everything you’ve got planned! I am growing out my hair yet again after ruining it, had to chop it off. But I’m excited to see my natural color on me for the first time in over 15 years. I just as letting it all grow out but I couldn’t stand it over my ears so I brought back my undercut (slightly different than before but still an undercut) and I feel more like me now.. alway do with my undercut. I can’t grow that out and have a full head of hair ever again haha!! And if/when I decide to lighten it, I’ll be more patient and do it the right way. And leave my indecisive thoughts alone with itself 😂 every year except this year and last year I went black - I thoroughly love that color on me too. Very excited to see that video! I believe you can keep it til January! I’m glad everything went well with this video too!

Girl, people doubted me too that when I colored my back section brown (and grew out my natural brown hair) that I won't keep it for long and will bleach it again yadayada. And now its almost been a year and I've colored the front piece brown too. And I love it!

Omg I didn't realise that the color remover was bleach based! I got breakage on my front pieces that I have down when I put my curly hair up and I thought... Why have they broke! I was using the color remover with 20 volume 😢😢 and just slapping it on to lighten my roots for a refresh color 😢I was really perplexed because I REALLY look after my hair, I spend a fortune on olaplex and protein treatments, my god I feel like a big nincompoop!! 😅😅 I have hardly any hair anyway because I'm going through the menopause without HRT as I can't take it due to blood clots! I'm devastated, it will take at least another two years to grow back, I'm so glad I watch you each video now xx

I feel ya so hard. I basically dyed my hair using CelebLuxury Viral in Lavender/Lilac, and it has been a MAJOR PAIN to get out. All I basically did was clarifying shampoo/conditioner and rinse it in warm water, it took about I believe 6 washes for it to fade off. It also doesn't help the fact that my hair is basically half-and-half. It's basically half lightened and the other half is basically my roots. But my hair is also incredibly short, so it's kind of difficult to try and just section parts of my hair except for my bangs as that's the longest piece of hair that I have. So to watch this video was incredibly insightful, and I hope to try this on myself the next time I color my hair, whether if it's with oVertone, LimeCrime, or even with Arctic Fox.

Its your hair. I enjoy watching you dye your hair and the process you take to achieve each color. Especially since you're doing half your hair black on pale porous hair, it does make happy. I have naturally blond hair thats also naturally multi-tone. Most of my hair is level 7/8 with some areas close to a level 6, and I dye my hair black or blue black. I'm teetering on uncertain ideas of dying just my regrowth a fun color such as emerald or purple while keeping the rest my signature and beloved black.
I was thinking of Lunar Tides as they had an advertisement showing the dye can still beautifully color natural light to medium brown hair. I'm too chicken to bleach my roots as I'm scared I might screw up something and I'm not experienced with bleach. Especially with natural blonde hair.

I always keep the back of my hair natural dark brown and only touch the front half with bleach highlights. I think i just ask for partial. So youre not crazy i do it all the time. Back of my head loves me, front hates me lol
