You have such a cozy and lovely home. Like all your changes to spring….the pillows, cake plate arrangement, and the flowers and plants always get much of my attention. Thank you for sharing with us….now to your garden!
I had a raggedy Ann and Andy bowl that I fed all 3 of my children their cereal in the morning when they were babies. It finally wore out. I found the exact bowl at am antique store recently and was ecstatic. I texted all 3 of my adult kids and asked them if they remembered that bowl. Surprisingly they did. I had to buy it and I have it displayed on my bookcase.
I knew from the first shot this was going to be special. The Suzani pillow covers turned out beautifully. Love the window table vignette with the spirea in a vase and out the window!!! The brass and tray and stems and especially the blue and white ginger jar which plays off the Suzani fabric so well. I have always loved the marble top sideboard . All your gleaming silver and little treasures look so sweet. At 73, I still have my ceramic divided baby dish from 1950!!! Its ivory colored with blue accents, and the theme is Little Bo Peep. I love the layout of your little sitting , dining room and kitchen. It is the epitome of cozy!!!!
Love that you have your baby dish! I still have mine, although it's not as cute as the Bunnykins. Mine had a little reservoir that could hold warm water and keep the food warm. I'll have to share it in some time in a video.
Your video just popped up, and I liked it, so subscribed! Love your sewing skills. I got a D in sewing class. I really deserved an F, but, I did finish ,y project.! LOL! I had no control of the machine, it just did what it wanted to do. On the other hand my mom was a excellent seamstress. I have a church pew, similar to yours. Our church is from 1873. There was a big upset at church, because some members wanted to sell the pews and get chairs instead, while the other half desperately wanted to keep the pews.. Our side lost. A lot of hard feelings. So our pastor gave a pew to everyone who wanted to keep them. They were 12 ft. long, way too long for a normal house, so he cut them down to 6 ft. It was so sweet of him. It's my most prized antique. Here in WI we have had no snow since Jan. The warm weather has fooled my perennials, and they have started greening up. We now have snow. I hope they are OK. Love your tour. Beautiful!
I'm still in Michigan and today I'm getting 8"of snow. Is your daughter getting snowed in today? Your as-usual lovely home tour is giving me oodles of good stuff to look forward to once this latest snowpocalypse is over. Cheers dear lady!
Your house looks very pretty in her Spring decorations, thanks for sharing. Hope the freeze doesnt come your way, 'twould be a shame to lose the camellias. Lovely Lori/Laurie, not sure how you spell your name. Best regards ❤
I have a handmade wooden decoration in the LR that can be used as a nativity at Christmas and then changes to the three crosses at Easter. A friend of my father's made it, and it's one of my favorite things.

Isn't it funny how little items create such strong memories?
Love love your cottage …BEAUTIFUL enjoyed your video very much … will keep watching 😍
So glad!
Wow...those pillows are fabulous. Love how they turned out I wish I could sew like you dear lady. PS...I loved this video!
Thank you so much! Sewing is pretty brainless. Buy a cheap machine at Walmart and watch a UA-cam video. Don't be intimidated if you want to learn how.
I absolutely love everything about your home! So warm and cozy 💕 🏠. I would love to know what color you chose for all of your walls 💛💛💛.
Oh thank you! Sherwin Williams Blonde.
Very nice and very beautiful ❤
Thanks a lot 😊

After living in Michigan 18 years and growing up in the Colorado mountains, it takes a lot of snow to merit a comment from Katie! Thanks for watching.
I brought in some small candies but the kitties decided they were the right size for toys! 😺🍬
Kirby has been chewing on the spirea. Fortunately it is nontoxic, but I did move it up since he's afraid to jump.

Thank you so much! It looks like we missed the hard freeze as the camellias as still beautiful. My name is spelled "Lauri." (The least common way.)
Looks blue to me.
Ugh, computer screens!
