I got the body trimmed out and on my TRX4 sport. I have a bowhouse brace screwed to the rear so it is flush with the chassis. It fits with the front bumper support upside down. I ended up removing the support, grinding the front chassis to right before the first screw hole. So I can run bumpers or not. This all now tucks behind the new body. I can drive straight into my garage door and start climbing. Exactly what I was going for. Thanks for the review 👍

Perfect for hitting the rocks in my TRX4 sport (no bumpers) with my neighbor and his Capra! I use a Proline Jeep Comanche now but really don't want to hack it up. (I'm on my second one.) Thanks for the link, 👍I looked on Amain before I saw this and they were not available. I've got my scissors ready!

Dude you are Man! It's kinda in the middle of a trail and rock crawler. Here in upstate NY I like that tuck 250 for high performance trail truck that sees rocks when available. A lot of trails here. Definitely going on my sport so I don't have to trim the fenders on my jp1 body
Only thing holding me back on a 6x6 build is body options..... would love to see a clean body for them

I'm buying it for my gen 8. Running 12.3 wheelbase took off all fenders and everything is in the center of chassis. Also cut back the back frame rails
I like this. Classis truck look mixed with performance. Might just get one for my TRX Sport when they become available across the pond.

The proline jeep Comanche body fits the Gen8 v2 great! Just need to shorten the wheel base to 12.3, by far the easiest clear body install on the Gen8.
Looks pretty good with the TRX4, just a lot of trimming to be done but I'm sure it will look really good. But you absolutely right, the body suits the XMaxx the most. 😆🤣👍🏼

Absolutely would love some options for the 6x6. Don’t get me wrong the Benz body is sweet but a different look would be nice. I’m not skilled enough yet to make my own body.

Joe inspired me to make my own creep 6 aka my Reaper6 it was more intimidating than it was hard you should go for it and make 1 its a awesome part of the hobby in my opinion

I wish you would have held it up to the bottom of the creep I love the creep but it's so narrow it won't fit over any sliders I'm curious if the new tucked body will fit over my sliders and still have a good pinched nose and tail

I have been able to find a clear cab only cen f450 superduty 4 door from their recent dually release for a 6x6. But 6x6 bodies are tough to find especially since I haven't found a place to get the tamiya big rig cabs. If anyone knows somewhere to get peterbuilt tamiya hard bodies, please let me know.
I agree completely with what you said about people cutting their body's and dropping them real low on a low cg truck, yah might perform well but doesn't look scale at all.

Proline’s Cliffhanger is actually a Toyota that’s squeezed in at both ends
They came out with the 93 Ranger body, but its not a "tucked" style. They also made a add-on fender kit to make it more of a pre-runner style.
The Cliffhanger is the "tucked" body from Proline.

I dislike the little angled moulding just to the rear of the cab on a lot of truck bodies.
Red Cats and G-Made bodies seem a lot bigger than 1/10th more like 1/9th and a half, also the lack of a deep bed, it would be better to make it look like it has a bed cover not a very shallow bed, maybe the Maxx is a better candidate for the body.
Yeah. It this is mostly aimed at comp builds so all those details aren’t really needed.

Not having a body option for a six-by-six is a reason why I haven't bought one. I'm too lazy and not talented enough to make one. I'd love to see the Dodge concept T-Rex truck. I believe it was a Syma six-by-six Dodge.
