Well, we just got our rig and starting to work out what we are going to need. The organization is a big part of this because of limited storage space. Some great tips thanks!
Hi Phil & Stacy. We just got our RV and watching your videos for great tips. Wanted to put the reflectix up in the cabinets and wanted to know what you used to adhere the reflectix. Also did you put it in all the cabinets that are in the slides? Thanks!
We do too but we may have to retire them. We can never keep them in sync. One is always loosing time. I'm thinking of replacing them with family photos.
Great tips, I use storage bins in all of the cabinets.... 😄 the reflectives are super... gotta check them out! It gets hot in our Tiffin just sitting along side our House, waiting to go on a trip..... next weekend... Endless Cavern, VA 😀
I am 14 and I found your channel a couple of days ago and I have been binge watching all of your videos, I am now in love with rving! this is the only thing that I want to do now and I am saving up to buy a RV when I am older, your videos are amazing! I can't wait to live the RV life! I love your channel!
Having been born in Carlsbad, NM (only 76 miles away from Roswell) I must go on record to say that we should protect ourselves from those mind control rays as effectively as we possibly can. I've got stock in Reynolds! ROFLMAO!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Hi from Richland Washington heading toward Glacier NP. As always enjoyed the video. I was surprised you didn't mention the safety plus. That is an awesome upgrade. It has made a huge difference in how our Tiffin Allegro Red steers. Also a little bit of money for the upgrades lol! ! ! Let's do the math 1000.00 a piece for each Battle Born battery × 6 = 6000.00, safety + 1300.00 installed with an alignment, solar 1000 watts plus a DC bus system and a BMK 3000.00, snap pads 180.00, EZZ tire tpms 400.00, We boost cell signal booster 499.00, AGM chassis batteries interstate 779.00, water softener 287.00. Oh yeah a ton of accessories to many to count hoses etc. Full timing in a class A with boondocking capability is an expensive proposition. One more mod or upgrade Mrs. Herron will probably shoot me. Hiding in the slide bay Mike
I Totally agree with Mike! Everytime I mention something or other that I might want/need for our Rig, my wife gives me that Rolling/Evil Eye and, I go hide in the Garage! 😐
@@bensonsspeedshop1191 Well sometimes I do wonder when we will actually stop buying stuff! I thought when we moved in it would all come to an end. Nope! Apparently, there are always better, cooler electronics that are a must have!
@@todayissomeday We are heading out next year and fortunately we are on the same page as far as solar and batteries so the EU2000 doesn't have to run much. I can't wait to get done working.
Loved the story about you ripping off the two "fake" doors to make space for your time zone clocks! What the heck was Tiffin thinking? I did the same thing on our Dutch Star. What the heck was Newmar thinking?
We are wondering if anyone else has put the foil insulation in their cabinets. Stacy mentioned it but she didn't mention what she used to hold the foil in place. We've bought the foil and are looking for adhesive/tape recommendations. Thanks, Don
We tried many different types of tape as they would all fall down eventually. One trick is to cut it a little bigger than the space so you can tuck it into the sides and corners. We did find the 3M makes a VHB (Very High Bonding) tape that works well on anything. We have both listed on our Amazon gear page on our website: Todayissomeday.net
Very very very helpful! Love your channel! My husband and I just both subscribed. We have Covid 😞 so I have a lot of time to binge. We pick up our Grand Design 5th wheel on the 29th. We found your channel by way of Cnanging Lanes video you did together. You are all around our age and enjoying today as your someday. 👏 Also, I enjoy the variety on your channel : short , medium and longer times ; informative , special tips; alone fun and friend fun trips. Just one of my top 3 fav channels! Will join you on RVillage soon ☺️ Thanks and Happy New Year - hope to see you on the road ! 🎉. ( btw : We are in Alabama. I wanted to send in a dancing video but don’t feel up to it. I just wanted you to know you have friends in Sweet Home Alabama and soon some Georgia Peaches )
Your dividers for the drawers are a great idea. The thing about a lot of RV storage is that they have these huge spaces that only allow you to utilize a small part of them or, as you said, become very disorganized. Creating dividers and new shelves in these spaces maximize the the storage capabilities. Safe travels.
Konmarie folding tips, priceless. I went to one less drawer with same amount of clothes! Plus you can see everything at a glance. Lithium batteries, going on the wish list! Thank you for the tips!
My wife and I have loved watching your videos. We are planning our official full-time RV living in May. We appreciate all your advice and information. You two rock.
Thanks for making this video. I have made a few RV mods tips but the outtakes weren't edited... I just "winged" them in one-takes. Yours came out much better.
Great video. 👍 I use the wire shelf racks in my cabinets too. I realized after our first trip out there is so much wasted space. We have a triangular corner medicine cabinet so I used the tension rods there since it's an odd shape. And I love the skinny hangers. I think I will be checking in to baskets for the over bed cabinets because it's always a mess up there. Thanks for the great tips.
This video is AWESOME! This reminded me of what we liked about your channel and if I could give it more than one "thumb's up", I would! And I'm subscribed again!

Absolutely love the reflectix in the cupboards and the peg board solutions. Mind is now spinning on where I can implement these two ideas in our travel trailer. Woo Hoo! Ideas, ideas, ideas are flowing and these two solutions are not that expensive either. 👍👍
All great tips. I carry all of these items in my store. Even though we are not the Wallmart, Home Depot we get a good bit of business in RV supplies and other areas where we can help people make life easier. You did a great job showing how you use them. The one thing I liked about the King Aire is that Newmar listens to their customers. They put in adjustable shelves, that allows a way to add shelves. Our unit came with a pegboard and aluminum bins attached that hold fluids. Our pass throughs have power trays so I added shelves even with the bottom of the main rails. We use clear stackable totes that are numbered with the contents written on it. I have a spread sheet with all the totes numbers and the contents in each. If I need something, I know just where to find it.

That reflective is a game changer it truly is a great insulator... never thought of putting it in the cabinets of the slide 👍👍
