I just bought my dream truck today 1986 dodge d150, i plan on hellcat swapping it, next year. Hopefully beautiful trucks i love them. I remember having one in high school back in 08. First truck. My dad bought me. I hated it but it was clean no rust ran great. Red. After a while i began to love it. And unfortunately someone txting and driving rear ended it while it was parks.
Very nice truck ! I have the same model / year in two tone blue . My odometer just recently stopped working and the speedometer is jumping around, do you know anything about this ? Any help is appreciated thanks 🙏
Have the exact same truck would love to know what you used to lower it haven’t found anything that I think would work really well yet let me know thanks !
austin jay I’d like to know too, but looks like he ain’t talkin’. I do know you can use lowering shackles from an auto parts store on the rear and mid 70’s-80’s dodge van lower control arms on the front. Supposed to be about 2 - 3 inches front and rear. There are some UA-cam videos about it. Hope that helps.
Cool truck and all, but like some of the others have asked...How did you do it? I'd love to know how to lower my 1990 D150 Shortbed. I suppose I'll have to find a forum that explains how to do it, then make a video of my struggles for all 1986-1990 Dodge P/U youtubers. Hopefully, I don't kill myself in the process. :(
Out of curiosity, what parts did you use to lower? This ultimately the stance I'm going for with my 87 long bed street truck that I'm currently building! Any help appreciated
@@dallasgibson7578 im thinking the same thing, Dodge van front lower control arm, with heated spring; the rear could also be converted 2-3 leaf setup, axle flip, or he took the leaf mounting brackets and flipped them. There are a couple forums that talk about lowering these trucks
Beautiful truck. Like the stance . Low, but not too low.

ciscoguru69 did you lower you’re truck
@ciscoguru69 buy a pair of lowering leaf spring shackles from summit racing and control arms from a b150 and you will drop your ride a couple inches

Badass!

I would like to know as well
How’d you lower the rear??
He probably did drop shackles
axle flip kit is a possibility too, and the front is most likely dodge van lower control arms
