Okay, this took me way too long to make. And I already take way too long to make things.
Daughter of Evil is the first Vocaloid song I ever listened to, and it's the most popular Evillious song, so I had this weird hang-up about the cover needing to be perfect.
I tried for years to make a cover of this, but I am an alto, and I suck at mixing audio. It wasn't until I finally got Reaper that I felt comfortable enough to cover this song.
I most wanted to cover it to justify redoing my very old covers of Servant of Evil and Twiright Prank I did when I was 14, and to check it off my list of Evillious songs that I think I am now obligated to cover.
This version you're listening to wasn't even my first attempt to record this, I only rerecorded this yesterday as of uploading this, and somehow the recording I did last minute was a million times better than the one I spent a month working on🙃

Usually The Daughter of Evil uses the villagers point of view, but this one seems like the singer is trying to seem to not like Riliane but some fondness shows through. Is this Clarith singing this after befriending Riliane? Aside, from the previous points she Riliane, and Allen were also the only one, that I remember, that knew of the story behind the bottle messages. Clarith is also THE only one who knew Michaela was from the forest. Everyone else seemed to just assume that she was born inside the green kingdom Elphegort like most others with green hair. (I only say most because of the original sinner having green hair and being Leviathan.)

Those lyrics are very creative! I heard many covers of this song, but yours still feels different from any other. I Also loved How the lyrics switched between Riliane's point of view and history, and how the voice and the image of her indicated that switch.
