    Classic horizontal tail stab being blanketed during flaps down during final approach to flare (hor stab stall) .. remedy: less full flaps, add weight to nose.
    If it just won’t settle in, it’s either tail heavy, or a tail (horizontal) stab stall.

    - i never use dualrate on planes because i want to get familiar with it. Every time you switch it feels different
    - i always use flightmodes for trimming out the flap settings independently on the maiden

    Once in awhile it seems we get an airplane that's tough to get tuned in
    That's a good idea to not use the gyro until you've got everything under control and some altitude.
    Sometimes gyros don't work properly or they're controlling the wrong surfaces and we never know why it crashed. Especially with jets!
    Thanks Michael! I never miss a video from you

    The dramatic turning left and right out of control cost a lot of airspeed. I don’t know what makes you think that I’m making excuses, I am trying to put good information out there. I made 1000 good landings in a row, I have put something very unusual and because you weren’t on the sticks so you don’t have a clue what I was dealing with 15,000 people subscribe to me to learn something if you think you are above learning something, then don’t watch I do clinics all over the country, not to mention, performing airshows all over the country without incident ever This plane had some serious issues and I planted it. I didn’t have to post this video. I posted it so I could learn something and learn something You think you’re much better pilot than I am, why don’t you put out a series of instructional videos and I will go look at it to learn something

    Stalled

      I’m sorry it did not stall. I was on the back-and-forth. if you notice I had control of the aircraft right to the ground if it starts to 90°, they just fall out of the sky. This kept flying with the wings rocking back-and-forth. of course, all this activity slow down quite a bit, which exacerbated everything When aircraft stalls, it does not land flat on the belly There’s no way to add throttle at that point, it was up and down at the same time so it was quite difficult to manage But I can assure you I didn’t flight it in too slow if you’ve watched any of my other videos on how to land a heavy aircraft you will see. I have made countless first flights with turbines, thousands of landings without incident and most of them near perfect One Or two times that it wasn’t I put it on to make sure everyone can see so we can learn.

    So much lead in the nose is a bummer.

    You took nose weight out of plane that was already displaying tail heavy tendencies..... just goes to show just because you wear a fancy shirt does not mean you know how to fly or set up a jet.😂

      IT was nose heavy... I have test flown hundreds and hundreds! I know the difference.

    • @Zmarshall910
      @Zmarshall910 Місяць тому

      @MichaelWargo it was pitch sensitive and you say that means it was nose heavy? Odd. And then you took nose weight out and it got worse.... hmm again odd... 🤔

      @@Zmarshall910 Pitch sensitive from rates and expo. I have continually test flown hundreds of Jets... I have a great video on how to land heavy aircraft and turbines. It was the gyro that made it go crazy on this last flight.... IT worked on the first two. When we switched the gyro off it leveled off and was flying fine. No sensitivity. The Flaps were not correct. That didn't help. I thought the gyro pulled loose... The CG was good on the final flight.

      @MichaelWargo cg was good but you planted it on landing even with the gyro off? Color me confused. You can land a turbinator without flaps. It's one thing to make mistakes. But making excuses just looks bad.

      @MichaelWargo also who turns the gyro on before they get the plane dialed?
