Thanks a zillion for your video. I really appreciate it. My son and I are working on an old ski-doo and I no longer feel like I'm in over my head. Please keep up the good work, and know that you are making an enthusiastic sled-head 13 year old very very happy.
hey there i have a 1997 xlt 600 special, I started it up this year and when i go top give it throttle the sled begins to bog down and die. Im pretty sure the carbs need to be cleaned since it just had a complete top to bottom end rebuild a few years ago professionally done so I know there is no problems with the engine. Just wondering if you have any advice or a video on how to clean the carbs!
I have a 1990 polaris indy sks and I was changing out the sprockets when I noticed the bigger sprocket kind of has a shaft or a part sticking out on one side and I was just wondering which way do I put it in?
thank you very much that was really helpful and it saved me a lot of time and hair tearing out i had the whole snowmobile apart and couldnt figure out how to get the chain case off i was about to get out the ol trusty sledge hammer lol...
Yes, this needs a carb cleaning... I have a link if you search my youtube channel for How "To Clean Flat Slide Carburetors " Yours are a little different - but same idea.
