Chrome Dino is a hidden game found on Google Chrome browsers whenever the user cannot connect to the internet. It has a dinosaur used to jump over objects in a seemingly endless game.
Here we see Randomno ( tasvideos.org/... ) playing the game until it reaches the maximum speed of 13 in the game's memory. As a note, achieving the max score requires playing the game for 17 million years.

Half the run was spent booting the damn game up. A+. 10/10
A TAS begins at boot-up.
The inputs are all done as late as possible. Pure evil.
the best part of this TAS is that it doesn't even run the game on Chrome
And it also run on Windows fucking XP.
17 million years? better start now while we can
You really wanna go 17 million years for a rare high score?

Windows XP brings me back... Let's get tas pinball
Tas space cadet pinball next
This!!!!
This is like a SiIvagunner TASpost.
If we are now getting TASes in Virtual Machines using Windows XP, then this means that very soon we will finally get a run of Super Gamehouse Solitaire: Volume 0I and 02, both games do not have a feasibly available way to play them on most operating systems beginning with Vista and while Volume 03 can play even on most recent installments of Windows the first two were confined to Compatibility Issue Chaos for well over Eighteen Years; you can also play Volume 0I nowadays on Modern Era systems without a Virtual Machine, thanks to a Code Translation update, but this sadly requires a subscription to iWin and I don't think that it it's worth the money simply to play one game that we grew up with back in 2004 unless it had substantially more than Offline Play for its Ten games per volume, I haven't ever played Volume 02 and to admit that I haven't played Volume 0I proper since 20I0 is genuine incentive for me to bring its attention to new players because of how long it has gone under the radar in the community today.
I know nothing about Super Gamehouse Solitaire: Volumes 01 and 02 but I admire your enthusiasm
that or modern titles without day 1 patches, we really need to push those technological turds to there absolute limit
This is not a virtual machine. This is a emulator, possibly 86box or PCem.
never thought i'd see the day
How can they humanly possible to TAS a Windows Operating System by booting up a Windows XP!?
I have to assume TASing inputs on a Windows XP virtual machine running in VM software.
We use PCem inside libTAS.
this is nostalgia overload
the game is less than 10 years old dude
I would honestly watch a Windows XP Speedrun.
You know, strangely enough remember having a dream about this once. Now either I'm still dreaming or I'm in an interesting timeline.
This really is a TAS; a TAS of all time.
Wait, the Chrome dinosaur game???
I hope one day we get the pinball TAS. This was my favourite game that came with WinXP. :D
A caray, mi preciado y extrañado Windows XP....era mi Windows favorito!
Ah yes. Windows XP. A nostalgic operating system.
impressive of the fact that this TAS exists.
AND ON WINDOWS XP? AMAZING!
Brilliant.
rip chrome dino :( i miss you
*I can't wait to be King intensifies*
0:53 the first time windows sound used in a tas
The recent AirXonix publication was first.
damn i didn't even know you could duck in the game
Max score TAS when?
It's in the works, just wait 17 million years.
YOU CAN CROUCH?????????????????????????????????????????
crouching also works as a fast drop
Didn’t know the screen tearing was so bad 😂
Cool!
Make TAS where need to open ALL folders in WinXP
Why are you running this on Windows XP on like a 486? 😂
Current TASing for Windows is unfortunately only reliable for XP
It's actually Pentium 2, and it's the best PCem emulates. XP happens to work so why not.
Can you not read a BIOS?
@@SonicTopaz Can you not read a “room”? It’s a joke… 🙄
This is a joke right? 😂
nope, they play the game until they reach maximum speed (which is 13)
@@rainlion10 but why?
@@TheTedder We don't ask that question here
@@TheTedder I agree, WHY??
MS PAINT TAS WHEN?
Now one with Maximum Score or 100%
@0:50 -- I haven't seen that in almost 20 years 😅
What in the world?!
bro did the tas on vm emulator what
Pretty much everyone can Tool-Assist this
99% of people will fail to set it up.
wow lol
THE LAG LOL
Considering the hardware specs, it's running really good, actually
wot
>>2m, 37.63s run
>>>video is 2m 45s long
You mean to tell me timing began when you actually booted the computer up, and not when you started the game? D:
That's TAS timing for you. Starts from power on, ends on last input.
bruh what
Windows xp
Who the heck decided that Windows boot is part of the time measurement?
- It's different on every Windows version
- It's different on every hardware.
- The used hardware is unnecessarily bad & slow (look how the game stutters) and arbitrarily chosen.
A better rule would be to use the fastest environment possible and start timer at game startup (in this case Chrome startup).
lol
wtf
what th f is this ? 😂😂
Apesta windows xp mas el juego del dinosaurio google mi3d4 echa cuando nl tienes Internet
👎👎👎👎
