Awh u guys mean a lot to us I am a nurse from Boston and I have had few tough weeks but when I am up late at night crying I see that you guys put a video out and it makes me smile so thank you for taking my mind off of some really stressful times .
I haven’t been out in over 5 weeks. No Walmart close to me in Texas. I do curbside pickup for groceries and my daughter helps me and I help her doing errands. Using alcohol for hand sanitizer and I wear gloves and mask when I get mail and this all makes for a different life style for me at 73. Until 2 months ago I sure didn’t feel that old. I cannot socialize due to slight lung deficiency. Yall help my life go forward. Praise God I look forward to Sunday online church. Praise the Lord for my children and for His loving and caring for us Thank you Somers and especially thank you God helping us get thru these troubled times🙏😘❤️🌹🦋🇺🇸. Janie in Texas can’t wait to order a shirt, but will be too hot to wear now. My cruise to Alaska was cancelled but I will make it one day🙏🦋💓
I was so surprised and a little envious that Bert could get the last canister of the Clorox wipes! 😊 It has been 6 weeks of my stores being totally out of any disinfecting products, toilet paper, rice and soup. I keep thinking that maybe we will never get them. LOL! Got to keep the faith and hope that everything will return to a somewhat normal life in the near future. I remind myself to be grateful for what I have and not worry too much about what I don't have.
@@johnsymons76 our stores in the Sf Bay Area are keeping disinfects and hand sanitizer at the customer service desk. You could always ask yours if they are keeping the supplies behind the counters.
sage 7890 I went shopping on base this week, the soup aisle was fully stocked and the sign still said “limit 2.” Good news though, no limits on pork products, so I bought four racks of ribs for $1.78/pound...
We should have stayed open and gotten it over with. At risk people could have stayed home. The rest of us shouldn't have had our livelihood and our freedoms taken away for the few at risk people.
Currently living in Texas and have been for the last 20 years but grew up in Nikiski. Took my husband for a trip to Kenai and Homer where my grandpa lives in 2018. I fell in love with the state all over again. Thank you for the video's, your positive outlook and letting us be a part of your lives. When the world is crazy I find your show helps get me through. Get to feel like I'm home again. Thank you for sharing and brightening my day with laughter.
Great memories being made on your walk with Nana, you're mom. Alaska is so beautiful. Thanks 🙏 for the great videos and you're music is very relaxing. 💕💜❤️
Hello, your channel is a highlight so thank you. Here in Birmingham we have a city wide ordinance that you have to wear a mask in public. Also a curfew from 10p-5a.
Gwen1e H If you wear gloves, unless you change between each item you are still transferring germs from place. As long as you wash your hands consistently and keep your hands away from your face, it’s unnecessary. You don’t absorb thru your skin.
I go through a lot on a 8 hour shift no sink at the front desk of hotel lol I change them every license and credit card I have to touch after checking them in lol
I work at Wal-Mart we never closed cut our hours but we been working 6 day a week 12 hours shifts trying so hard keep shelf full also I'm going our another hoodie
I live in a small village in Spain called el pinos with small supermarkets. We have not seen children out and about for 6 weeks till now. All very calm and we are all very thankful that we are slowly coming through this, enjoying watching you all x
Bert’s little shopping spree was the cutest thing 😂 Such a good father, thinking about his kids, when he bought that ball and game! Wish more ppl would wear masks though, as it’s a courtesy to those around you, trying to protect them from your own germs. The no gloves was a good call too. My hubby showers immediately after work also, and leaves his clothes in the garage. It’s a smart thing to do 👍🏽
When Nana started your closeout as she was leaving with your kids made me laugh so hard! The kids are going to be so happy when they discover a new ball to play with! Glad things are beginning to open up for you. Here in Ohio we have 13,500,000 residents and I hope they don't open this state up too soon! Indiana is only 2.5 miles from my house and the nearest Big city is 15 miles away. They are starting to open some things up over the next 4 weeks. I just hope the retrictions are followed!
I live in New Jersey, the 2nd hardest hit state, over 130,000 cases and 6,000+. We are required to wear masks everywhere, one way aisles, and sanitizing carts upon walking in. We go to the store every 10 days or so. Tomorrow we are reopening golf courses and state parks. Hopefully they will stay open. And slowly other things will open when ready. If we reopen to early another surge will happen, its plain science. Unfortunately there is no perfect balance to all this. All we can do is our best. Stay safe everyone, and remember it's not just about you but who you could potentially get sick as well. I havent seen my parents in over 6 weeks, it was nice to see you interact with family .
Personally I don't feel like a mask is any more safe than not wearing one out in public. The only reason I do wear one is because it's required by certain business's or to respect the people I choose to go see like my parents. I love your videos Somers! My husband and I are officially going to move back to Alaska and making more set in stone plans for that next year. Right now we are just hunkering down in Texas, trying to get me through school, saving up as much money as we can while my husband still has his job.

That awesome that Alaskans are doing there part. Where I live, people don’t want to listen and still go out. Our Lowe’s stays packed (my mom works there and this is how I know). I'm most definitely like a kid on Christmas right now waiting for the website to open so that I can get a hoodie! I missed out last time. I've got alarms set, my card ready and I'm excited. The weather when you live on Lake Superior is unpredictable and we wear hoodies year round!
I live in Alberta Canada, stage 1 of opening things back up in our province will begin mid May. I’m not in a hurry to go anywhere though. Hello from Mesa, AZ. Walmart is open for lesser amount of people at one time. We have 6 feet markers at the registers and arrows that lead you one direction in the isles. I get groceries from the Walmart neighborhood store, which is primarily a grocery store, via call in and pickup. I'm 71 so I'll take a while longer to see how things are going. It's 100 degree here so hopefully it will help settle this scourge down.
A bit too late but I have tell you that I loved this video. To day I really needed some good vibes. I've just heard about the second suicide in six weeks. Life is tough for so many people now. So thank you for always being awesome! Hugs from Norway.
India is under lockdown which is just extended again till 17th May so going for grocery shopping is a task. I'm mostly trying to get home delivery which is a big blessing. Once things come in no disinfectant as its still difficult to get that the little amount available better use for hands. So everything packaged gets an old school washing with soap nd warm water Veggies nd other things get a vinegar bath. Its a huge task in itself. Stay safe loads of love ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So in our country, England Walmart is called Asda. I have going out at the moment the public are fantastic at social distancing however Asda staff are not and it frustrates me so much! Thank you for making me feel happy ❤️
Happy Friday! Good luck in the morning! 🙌🏼 All home improvement and grocery has stayed open during this time. Although we’ve avoided them, I know they’re open to all. However, they do limit the numbers of people that can enter at any given time. Stay blessed! ❤️🙏🏼✝️😊 P.S. how often do you have to change the various filters with the water you have up there? Do people ever put in entire home filtration? Thx. 👍🏼😊
That is the other thing; 'they' keep track of how many people go into stores. And the Shopping carts are wiped down before the patrons go into the store.
Wow, everything is gone, i wanted a shirt! I will wait for the next time you make shirts available again! Let us know when this is happening! Keep doing amazing work and providing great content!
In Santa Fe NM, the 2 Walmarts are open. I am ready for things to go back to the way they were before. I miss going to my community college and seeing my friends.
We found out today in WA State that our Stay Home, Stay Safe order has been extended until May 31st. The the state will start opening up in 4 stages after. Fortunately this Monday, Parks, fishing and some things like that open back up with social distancing so they are giving us something. I'm lucky enough to still be working from home, so I think this plan is a good one, but I can see it from the side of those not getting paid. Walmart is still open here, but reduced hours.
We had nice weather today in Indiana...started cutting my cedar wood for my raised beds. Talked with my neighbor across the street. They had a tree cut down that was becoming dangerous. They apologized for the noise. I said no problem...I was just curious how it was getting cut down safely. Was fun to watch.
Your kids are so adorable. Wanting to make sure they could say bye when they left for grandmas house. Can’t wait for launch. I sure hope I can get mine. See you next video. ❤️❤️
Your in Kentucky & I'm in Indiana. Since I have autoimmune issues I only go to Dr appointment's. My family brings me what I need. Personally I think they should wait until June to reopen thing's.
I was going once a week, then decided I can cut my risk/scare in half by going every other week (Oklahoma), there’s many people in the grocery store not doing their 6ft distance👈🏻which determined my twice a month choice
Our Governor in Maine just made mask mandatory you'd think they would have done that 2 months when the pandemic started but nope 🙃 I wear one everywhere I'm expecting my first child and I really don't wanna risk anything
My big adventure today after being inside for 2 weeks was going to Target. It definitely feels a little scary. Absolutely no clorox wipes here you got lucky 😂Here in California we have to wear a mask/face covering in order to step in the store. I finished chemo a year ago so I am relieved our state is taking the measures they are
You give me a glimpse of the real world out there. My brother, who lives w/ me still works, 6 days a week in a factory freezer and teases me about what it will be like when I return to work, er even leave our front porch. Haven't left home in 5 weeks. (5? 6?) I bought a dozen washable masks (online) and insist he wears his, like at the gas station and stuff, but I'm not sure if he is. I plan to wear mine when the time comes to leave home, I don't want to get sick. We do all (all!) shopping online, except his gas station trips to get to work and right back home again. Thx for sharing your world with us and yes, I'd luv to see the glacier!
I still can not go out I am severely insulin dependent Diabetic. Plus I have several auto immune disease. I miss going out to the store. It’s fun to watch y’all go shopping. Thank you for sharing. I love y’all and wish the best for y’all.
It's super fun having springtime allergies. I can clear an aisle when I start sneezing and coughing. Always have a mask on as it's required here in PA.
By BL- we do online grocery shopping at Walmart in the lower 48. Then you can pick up outside, they roll items out to you. Also, they have the line by the entrance for going in the store one-way.
Here in MN our Wal-Mart Target etc remain open they are doing a great job of keeping everyone safe and taking the steps to keep everyone safe. Take care and can’t wait to order the merch tomorrow.
Hey there Happy Family, Walmart here in SE coastal NC uses separate entrance and exit and monitored as well as trying to direct the flow in the store but otherwise open as almost usual.
Awesome on the Clorox Wipes .. score!! I used to enjoy going to the store and taking me time in the store.. now I sit in the car and have an anxiety attack before & after I go to the store.. I miss the good ole days .. lol
Our state (Kansas) begins to open a bit on Monday, but our county in Kansas will be 2 weeks behind the rest of the state due to higher # cases. My son-in-law and grandson (at Eielson) tried to get to Castner Glacier - today - had to stop short of their goal, lots of snow - had a good time.
We have been in quarantine for my daughter and have had groceries delivered. I know target and Walmart stayed open here and all the little grocery stores stayed open with restrictions. Next week our state is going to start easing into opening back up and that makes me nervous. I am actually really excited for the launch.
It might be a tad early to open each state. Texas kinda of reopened. Our state wide "stay at home" order expired on April 30. A lot of restaurants and other places have opened up but only at 25% capacity. Restaurants are still offering delivery and curbside pick up. Walmart and other grocery stores are still open at full capacity.
Your water is like ours!! Our mains are pumped from the River so we always use that yukky water for showering and washing lol!! I love trips to Walmart as we don't have one in Australia they seem to have a lot of variety!! Take Care all ❤❤❤
Walmart is open here in VA, looks like same opening hours too. My wife and I went in a couple of days ago and yours is an oasis of calm and space compared to ours. One way markings ignored by many, too many people there which made it almost impossible to socially distance reliably. Though I'd estimate well over half had masks on, which is something. Just a wee bit too stressful to be able to enjoy being out in public yet though. Congratulations on finding Clorox wipes! I'd just about forgotten what they looked like 😂 Thanks as always for sharing.
Hey Happy Peoples great vlog as usual great haul Bert yes very strange how shopping has become quit the experience we do only online and delivery options great family walk see yinz in the next one sledgehammered that like button stay safe awesome and blessed
I go to walmart every monday, the only store that carries all, in oregon. In Fred Meyer limit on pork, one package per customer that includes Bacon, one toilet paper, also towels Ribeye is 45.00 gold. There for a while the parking lot was like a Ghost town, not any more. But go early when they open
Our Walmart in OwenSound Ontario Canada has stayed open... they limit the amount of people in the store at one time so there’s always a huge lineup... They used to be open until from 7 am until 10 pm now they are closed by 8 pm.... they also only allow senior citizens for the first two hours of the day so they arent missing out on groceries...we live in a retirement community... our county has had no new cases in 3 days :) self isolation works :) love has stay safe
Our Walmart and "big box" stores are open, but in our State they are only letting so many people in the store at one time, we waited in line over an hour just to get mulch for our garden plot.
I'm in western NY. Our grocery and "big box" stores are open, but we're required to wear masks and try to distance. Many also have a special early morning hour for the elderly, etc. We are (hopefully!! 🤞) going to start opening more starting the 15th when our stay at home order is supposed to expire. I can't wait to be through this and go back to work and some normality! These past 2 months have been rough.
Our Walmart has a gate when you come in. It wasn’t like Home Depot where you had to wait in line one in one out. And they put tape all over the floor so that there are lanes down the isle you have to go down the isle twice if your stuff is on the other side.
I've traveled every weekend since this all started. Driven all over my great state and have even crossed the state line on one trip. I'm a rebel like that. 😂 I never wear a mask and never will. I've stopped the hand sanitizing too. Life is good!
In Illinois the Walmart’s are open but they have tape arrows on the floor in isles so u can only go one way. And they tape off non essential isles. Good info
I am in Northern Vermont.. right on the Canadian Boarder... our Walmart has parts of it shut down and roped off and you MUST wear a mask or face covering or you may not enter.. you can only go in for groceries, animal needs and the medicine and personal hygiene isles. the rest of the store you may not go into, our smaller stores are only allowing a certain number of people in at a time, our family has been taking advantage of a small local store that is doing curbside pick up for us!!
I live in a suburb of Springfield Missouri and our walmarts did not close but cut their hours from 24 hours to 7am-8pm. Use can also only use the grocery side entrance.
Hi from Missouri! Our local CoVid City (aka Walmart) is normally a 24-hour store. Their hours changed to 7 am to 8 pm. they have makeshift remodeled the store. They were in the process of remodeling the store when the governor closed the state. You can tell that some of the changes were not in the original remodeling plans. The governor has decided that the curve has flattened enough to reopen the state on Monday, May 4. I'm in my 70s and I'm going to stay home for a while. I don't feel safe. My sister is remodeling her house. She says Lowes is also CoVid City.
I think it’s ok to try and open up in places that don’t have high numbers of virus. You have to open up at some point anyway. Here in NJ where I live, it was really bad so it will take longer. Even if stores open up I won’t be going . Will wait to see if it spikes again. And I will wear a mask just for extra protection, when I do go to stores. Your family always makes me smile! Stay safe! 😀
This came up today. Wow what a mess Covid was! I have a very rare neurological condition and had a major flair in October 2019 and had to end my 45 year nursing career. I think God was protecting me. I've had my groceries delivered which is such a blessing.
Several of our stores, Wal.Mart included have special early morning shopping hours for senior citizens. That has been a wonderful 'blessing'.
Tom Marshall Stay safe 🙏🏼

I sneezed at Meijer today. The people in the aisle parted in the same way that Moses parted the Red Sea.
Rebecca Wright with allergies I fear sneezing in the store.
My daughter coughed and cleared the complete aisle! Her response now I know how to get the toilet roll the next time it's in the store.
😂🤣

I love my favorite family. I wouldn’t miss your videos.
Hey there. I don’t go out at all. I live with my daughter, SIL, & grands so they go out when necessary and we use delivery services.
Glenda Fikes hello
Irene Davo Hi there!!!
Your kids are so adorable. Wanting to make sure they could say bye when they left for grandmas house. Can’t wait for launch. I sure hope I can get mine. See you next video. ❤️❤️
I love the man haul of groceries! Lol Candy and hot dogs! Lol good job Bert! - Brandy
Our Governor has asked that everyone wear a mask ( Kentucky). I only go out once a week or less for groceries, and yes, I am scared.
Your in Kentucky & I'm in Indiana. Since I have autoimmune issues I only go to Dr appointment's. My family brings me what I need. Personally I think they should wait until June to reopen thing's.
Governor from Tennessee ask us too
I was going once a week, then decided I can cut my risk/scare in half by going every other week (Oklahoma), there’s many people in the grocery store not doing their 6ft distance👈🏻which determined my twice a month choice
Connie Miller Hello from OKC
Our Governor in Maine just made mask mandatory you'd think they would have done that 2 months when the pandemic started but nope 🙃 I wear one everywhere I'm expecting my first child and I really don't wanna risk anything
My big adventure today after being inside for 2 weeks was going to Target. It definitely feels a little scary. Absolutely no clorox wipes here you got lucky 😂Here in California we have to wear a mask/face covering in order to step in the store. I finished chemo a year ago so I am relieved our state is taking the measures they are
Kit Kit hello
Irene Davo Hello 👋🏼❤️
It's funny how you're so happy the snow is melting. I live in Phoenix, Arizona 🥵and I know I pray for snow 🥶. It's already in the 100's here.
The hoodies were gone before I even go it one. Again! So sad. So happy for y'all though! How awesome!
Your music selection is always really on point!
You didn’t grab the Reese’s behind you and WHY?? That alone would get me through ANY pandemic!
Tammy Hanson hello
Hello happy ppl hope you have a blessed evening
Hey there Happy Family, Walmart here in SE coastal NC uses separate entrance and exit and monitored as well as trying to direct the flow in the store but otherwise open as almost usual.
Thanks for the Walmart tip 😂 I’m definitely gonna start coughing up a lung when someone gets too close 🤣🤣🤣
Bert's shopping was awesome( I once sent my hubby for 1 onion..he called 5 times) lol
Beautiful blessed happy family! 😘🌴🌴hello from Florida. Wish I can visit Alaska one day!
I live in Arkansas and most of the walmarts if not all of them close at like 8pm. Love you guys you are so amazing making me want to move to alaska!!!
We have been in quarantine for my daughter and have had groceries delivered. I know target and Walmart stayed open here and all the little grocery stores stayed open with restrictions. Next week our state is going to start easing into opening back up and that makes me nervous.
I am actually really excited for the launch.
Jessica, I love your mom:)
I'd just about forgotten what they looked like 😂
Thanks as always for sharing.
Really love your channel! Wow! Your prices there are almost double what are Walmart charges here in Austin, Texas I’m literally shocked!
Our Wal-Mart here on down south Florida is opened to 90% capacity. As for as finding things that is necessary we have a great restock stores.
You guys encourage me with every vlog you put out-our governor has us locked up for another month-UGH! Thanks for brightening my day!
Our Walmart and "big box" stores are open, but in our State they are only letting so many people in the store at one time, we waited in line over an hour just to get mulch for our garden plot.
You can never be too safe from this virus. Just smart to be cautious. Love your videos Bert. You care.
Sending love from Michigan, just love this family!
I never wear a mask and never will.
THAT WAS A SELL OUT! So happy for you! Oh, I visited your website for the Fireweed.
I miss the bike trails in Alaska they are awesome go forever Oklahoma needs to take note of them. Alaska is my home miss the mountains.
Stay safe! 😀
18:44 Shes just like...Its about like 35° 😶
it gets below 70° and I'm like. 🧣
Omg! I have never, ever seen such a massive bag of Skittles! Wow 🤤
This came up today. Wow what a mess Covid was! I have a very rare neurological condition and had a major flair in October 2019 and had to end my 45 year nursing career. I think God was protecting me. I've had my groceries delivered which is such a blessing.
