Oh, Emily! California lady who founded a feral cat spay/neuter clinic (who wrote to you before) here. Sitting on my porch with tears in my eyes. The fact that you and your neighbors banded together to help these cats and to stop what could have so quickly turned into a huge colony of feral cats….you have brought me joy to the deepest depths of my heart. Truly. You are doing everything right. Everything. Even prioritizing yourself, and these little lives over content for a bit. You are giving those kittens the prospect of lives that include loving human touch. My only “advice” is to be patient with Blossom. As someone who has had way TOO much feral cat experience, if you can give her a few weeks indoors post-spay-surgery, when the hormones level off and she’s not nursing/protecting kittens/trying to survive, you may get a whole different cat. Continued interaction at her speed will let you know. My heart is so full. And, the Partridge Family game! I’m old enough to have watched that in prime time.👵🏻 Thank you for being the person that doesn’t just say they love animals, but is a person who will act and will inconvenience themselves for an animal. ❤.

You are so sweet. I am a senior citizen, I have collected vintage for a long time. I too, take care of feral cats, seven in total. I have been having them spayed and neutered. No kittens this year, one male left to get fixed and then whole colony is taken care of and I am thankful for that. Only three let me occasionally pet them. You keep being you. I enjoy watching to see what you find in vintage decor. I have a lot of the same items. You bring a breath of sunshine with your channel, blessings to you!

My brother and I were talking last night about childhood memories of our Granny who was from Norway and when she could no longer live on her own everything in her house mysteriously disappeared (we think we know who took it all) and there are 2 items that hold such dear memories for us that we wish we had and one was the aluminum cups from like the 40’s that we LOVED drinking iced tea out of and her bread slicer that we used to slice pieces of her AMAZING homemade bread that she ALWAYS had made 😊 and never say never about your VW Bus dream 😉

My 1st video I read stray cat and had to watch. Black cats are wonderful and so hard to adopt out. My vote is you take 2 if you can swing it. I'm not sure if you have any other pets. 2 will keep each other company when you're gone and they have a playmate. Mama probably will need to be fixed and sent back out. There is hope sometimes with a feral, but she's been feral too long. I think you and your neighbor are WONDERFUL for stepping up to help her and her babies. I just subscribed can't wait to see more of their story. If she has shelter and food she'll live a great life outdoors not ideal but if she's inside she might be miserable and feel trapped!❤❤❤❤❤

Haha I remember the same. My grandma had one in her pink bathroom. I used to play with the bottle in the bath. Years later my grandmother did say that that the original contents were not pleasant. If she had not have received it as a gift, she never would have bought it for herself. The remmants of liquid left inside was not nice.😂

I love the little kittens I have made five feral cats house cats at different times.. it is possible to make them friendly just have to have a lot of patience with them which is frustrating lol.. as soon as you held up the pink cat I knew what it was.. There is hope sometimes with a feral, but she's been feral too long. I think you and your neighbor are WONDERFUL for stepping up to help her and her babies. I just subscribed can't wait to see more of their story. If she has shelter and food she'll live a great life outdoors not ideal but if she's inside she might be miserable and feel trapped!❤❤❤❤❤

Haha I remember the same. My grandma had one in her pink bathroom. I used to play with the bottle in the bath. Years later my grandmother did say that that the original contents were not pleasant. If she had not have received it as a gift, she never would have bought it for herself. The remmants of liquid left inside was not nice.😂

I love the little kittens I have made five feral cats house cats at different times.. it is possible to make them friendly just have to have a lot of patience with them which is frustrating lol.. as soon as you held up the pink cat I knew what it was.. Wow loved everything but particularly the cat bubble bath bottle! ❤ I found a pink poodle single stem vase and I love it because it is similar in colour and has a quirky long neck. Also the minty green looks great agaist the wood in your house!

You walked by some old Barbie toys at the flea market and I about fell off my chair! I had them! That really ages me. 😂. I seriously hope you keep a kitten! It’s so sweet that you’ve taken them on. Can I ask where and when this flea market is? I live in northern Indiana and wonder how far it is from me.

I saw a Sunshine Family Coloring Book flash by. A couple of years ago my husband tracked down a Sunshine Family Craft Fair Truck like I had as a kid. It is my prize possession. My parents were hippies, so we were a Sunshine Family house as opposed to a Barbie house.😂
