Please, your work is great, do more video about the ORX. For example, in some videos Gary explained that Coin DEEP is sometimes unstable, so in those situations it is better to switch to Coin Fast mode. But a video explaining the specific conditions in which to use Coin DEEP or Coin FAST would be very useful. Thanks
I bought my Deus in Feb 2019 but have had precious little to do with it, through selling my house, until Covid-19 struck. Since then, I have found any preset program you use has a limitation of sorts. I have found discrimination , silencer and reactivity, if any are turned up, seriously limit the depth of the Deus so I have turned all as low as they will go and tried again, not worrying about noise and only adjusting settings when I hear a good tone. I do have iron tone at zero. I have 9.5 inch elliptical HF coil. (Elliptical meaning egg shape, so not round). I also have 13 inch LF coil. I would like to see a video, from Gary, using the Deus fully open like that to learn how he changes things and why. The ground, where I am is like cement, unfortunately, so I can't dig far down.
I’m going to give the maker of the spade a plug. Alan Bumstead at Optimist Spades. I have one myself and they are amazing and they are bespoke to your needs.
Really nice video again, love to see other Deus users in action and to learn a bit more from the experts! 😉 I have the elliptical HF coil on the Deus, is that as good as the round HF coil? Our do I need to have the round also ? Thanx for your nice Video's Gary!!🙂
Willem de Boer Hi Willem, I wouldn't say the elliptical is better than the HF round. There both designed for specific ground conditions. I've not used the elliptical. Given the choice I would opt for the round HF it's a better all rounder. If you can afford to buy one you won't regret it and you cover all bases.
@@paulbancroft3817 thanx for your answer Paul, sins I have allready the elipticall one I hope this is enough for me... Its verry easy on cornfields between te stubble! I think the khz are almost the same on the round and the elliptical one? Best regards, Willem.
Thank you Gary and Paul for putting on this video,I found it most enjoyable and informative to watch,Paul can I ask were you can buy a spade featured in this video?
Great great video.. so nicely put together.. I'm currently using my trusty 'Nokta makro multi kruzer' I am though so tempted to change to the deus xp. I'm going to subscribe now👍
Gary hi, ive been using a nox 800, but i can't get on with it, my question im looking at the deus xp with hp 9" coil(i'm a beginner) would you recommend this?
Splash Hi Splash. If you haven't or can't gel with a machine and you've tried in my opinion it's time to move on. My answer would be go for the XP Deus with the HF coil, I'd be surprised if you regret it. Are you on ploughed/arable searching.
@@paulbancroft3817 thanks guys, now the question is what should i pay fro a new one? and again thanks for your help, gary ill be pestering once i get my new machine lol
@@SuffolkSifter thanks guys, now the question is what should i pay fro a new one? and again thanks for your help, gary ill be pestering once i get my new machine lol
Artur Kropiwiec Hi Artur, as Gary said I like the Sonar programme, been using it for a while now, with the occasional changes to settings to adapt for ground conditions of course.
Margus M That's a good point Margus, being tuned in to a machine and the environment is essential no matter what you use.......I'm at one with my XP so won't change. Thanks for your comment.
I think it's same with everything. You can buy a bike for 10k, but that doesn't make you go so much faster then 4k bike. Know how to use your equipment with full potential 👍. Mind is our biggest enemy lol. More expensive equipment it's not always better
I’m absolutely stunned by these great finds, thank you for sharing.
Incredible finds!!.... Im new to the XP brand but love the ORX!..
Those fields you guys are hunting are just beautiful! Enjoyed the video!
Thanks Nick

Thanks Brian, good combo
Great video and love your Optimist Spade😍 Paul. More of these please Gary 👍🏼
Thanks Catherine

Never tried one myself but they look good quality.
Wow what a collection. I'll keep hunting with my Deus❤.
Thanks Amanda
The HF for me is truly amazing, still goes deep but the fine coins and little bits are never missed..
Thanks for your feedback Dermot
Dermot O Brien Hi Dermot. Your not wrong on the little bits not being missed, I need stronger glasses now to find them.

Thanks for watching my friend.
The 9" coil would be my suggestion for someone new to the Deus or ORX.
I wish the US had this much history. Here we're very lucky to even find a 200 year old coin.
Cracking finds Paul 👌🏻
Fodder Phil Cheers PHIL. That Celtic was nice find well done.
Outstanding video and information THANKS 😊
Thanks Michael 👍
Another brill vid, a great watch.👍

Thanks Gary for the cool movie.Promises to be a new cool series 💪.Can you tell what settings he uses.

Great video. I don't think that matters what machine you using, as long as you are happy with it. It's all in your head 🙏lol.
