Thanks a lot for watching, let me know your thoughts on the ALL NEW 2025 Yamaha Wolverine RMAX4 1000. What would you like to see or know in a full review?
Did they improve on quieting the exhaust. I know it's rec vehicle, but it was really loud. Also, is there going to be an under the seat sub-woofer? The one SSV had was garbage. It was your review from 2021 that convinced me to buy the RMAX4 1000. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the new one.
How much of a difference does turf mode give in turning radius? I'm debating on waiting for the 2025 rspec or getting a heck of a deal on a 2023-2024 LE.
It does make a difference, check out this video I did on how it works. You can see the difference in the video. DIFF LOCK EXPLAINED… #fishersoffroad #offroad ua-cam.com/users/shortsMb-Astp1Erc?feature=share
Brian. Quick question about the bed in the RMax. Can you tell me what the mounting threads are in the bottom of the bed? I want to mount a storage box back there.
It’s the same bed that’s on the back of the RMAX2. There are mounting options in that bed. I have mounted several different things in the back of the bed on my X2 1000 which is pretty similar.
Nice new rig for the family finally new adventure pro that's what I'm most excited about but that long wheel base looks sweet. Still fairly affordable to compared to the other brands. Plus I think Yamaha build quality is steps ahead of the rest no squeaks rattles or plastics falling off after 1000 miles. Now lets update that YXZ up a touch more than what they did last year. Xtr model colors look good too
It's definitely runs hard at the other brands and their limo 4seaters in the sport/utv category....but even if it would have been sitting at the dealership 3 weeks ago......I would still have my compact, the size just works for my hauling and storage of my units. But it will hit polaris the hardest...
I always go bigger than what I need. I like to use a trailer with two axels. I have an 8X20, here’s the specs on the RMAX4. LxWxH 150.8 in x 66.7 in x 82.7 in
One thing i wish they would fix is the extreme heat in the cab and everyone will burn their leg that is on the inside. Better heat shielding and a fan to blow heat out the back would make alot of good use. Its so bad we wont take the 4 seater or the 2 seater out on a warm day. Mostly night rides and cool days.
What units do you have and where do you live? My RMAX wasn’t bad and my X2 isn’t that bad either, I run the X2 year round with the full glass windshield in TN.
@FishersOffRoad rmax4 1000 limited and max 2 1000 limited. We live in florida and the heat coming from the center hump is bad. The 4 seater is the worst specially for the back passengers.
Thanks a lot Fisher I met you a while back Central Utah Richfield I'm all Honda but I recently switched to Kawasaki Brute Force 750 it's a great bike I just don't like the belts thanks for taking me along I'm going to invest in the Yamaha I just don't know what one yet thanks for all that you do be safe out there take care God bless
Brian, I have a '22 Limited and love it BUT The Adventure Pro is a distinct weakness and the addition of Turf Mode is a huge improvement, all this is in my opinion. I'm not interested in spending another 30K but I am interested in these "up grades". So, first-can these be retro-fitted to my machine? second- approximate cost? last but not least why don't they use a "square setup" for for the RMAX4?
Not sure about retrofitting, I’ll need to as I Yamaha. I would imagine the cost would out weigh getting a new machine. Not 100% sure why they don’t have a square tire set up on the RMAX4 compact, I heard it had to do with how they wanted it to track and ride. I did put a square tire set up on my 21 RMAX4 and it did great.
Hey Brian, Chris from Nova Scotia here. I have the 2024 Yamaha Wolverine X2 1000. Do you know of a company that makes a storage rack for the back of it.
No turf mode was a deal breaker for me. I'm glad they rectified that. Yamaha seems to be a company that listens to the consumer. I wanted a dual purpose machine, so I bought a Can Am Defender. It has a bigger cargo bed and turf mode. Is the 2025 Wolverine X2 1000 going to have these upgrades?

@eddyangueira4369 not sure about the noise yet and they have a new & improved under the seat sub woofer.

Looks great, had this couple years ago I wouldn’t bought a Honda Talon x4
Don't care what ya ride. As long as you ride safe, travel far and do it soon. That scenery is beautiful, would love to ride there
Head to Utah, the Arapeen Trail system.
Looks good 👍🏻👍🏻
This is what I wanted when we got our Polaris, but they didn't make it yet. Now I have to talk the wife into getting one.
I hear ya, the wife is always the one you have to sell on it. lol 👍🏼

Yes it will.
So strange, just heard about this from my buddy that has the compact. Great information Brian. Thanks.
@@G-Man-kc2nm thank you my friend! 👍🏼
Does the long version need a 40 acre field to turn around?
Not sure, I’ll let you know as soon as mine comes in. Hopefully I’ll have it in a couple weeks.
@@FishersOffRoad Looking forward to that.
What is the best trailer and size to haul this?

I got ya, Florida is hot without being in the unit. lol. We were just down there for vacation, it was cookin!!! 🌞
Looks great! leg room would be nice! Little cramped for 6'+?
Have you sat in it already? I saw a reviewer who is 6'2" and 350lbs. He said it has plenty of room.
@kractass my 2021 is cramped at about your height, I have not, I will though.

@@dobberaaron6658 yes sir, good to hear from you. Keep enjoying the Off-Road life, my friend!
Did they do anything about cab noise from engine, olther years are terrible, love the 4 seater with rear bed👍👍👍
Not sure about that one? I would love for it to be quieter too.

I’m not sure about the X2 1000? All the RMAX line up got the upgrades. The Defender is a solid machine for sure.
yutrax trailer with the Yamaha utv
We love our Yutrax trailers! 👍🏼
But still have a Single cylinder grizzly
Looks similar to a Polaris General.
Nice looking machine.
