SURVIVING THE CROWDS ON CARNIVAL MARDI GRAS | Day 3 Nassau, Bahamas

- Join us for our day in Nassau, Bahamas onboard the Carnival Mardi Gras! We volunteered this week with Autism on the Seas.
We started our morning very early with breakfast at 8:00. Rachel went to Junkanoo beach with a family while Jillian stayed on the ship to help with breakfast and pool time.
We had some time before helping out with lunch in the Lido, so Jillian went to film part of the ship tour and get food.
After helping with lunch, we had a short break before our water slide session. Shortly after was dinner in the Mardi Gras Palm Dining Room, where we were pleasantly surprised by the food.
We had another respite session before we went out to enjoy the ship. We went to the Family Feud game shows before grabbing some food and heading to bed.

I love what you guys do with this charity - it seems like such a wonderful initiative! I cruised on two Carnival Vista class ships last year, and met so many people who told me all about how impressive Mardi Gras and Celebration were, so I'm delighted to see you on there!

Growing up was tough because people didn’t understand how to help. The community I’m sure greatly appreciates how you serve.

never had lines like this on over 7 carnival cruises..... strange
Just got off Mardi Gras two weeks ago and our family has decided to never cruise carnival again. Cancelled two Carnival cruises because of he experience.

Isn't Carnival a "party" ship meaning people up late? Seems a miss on their part.

People do stay up late, they definitely did not enjoy much of the late night life it seems
Bunkbeds? No wonder you seemed cranky. I'd be cranky too if I was staying in a closet without windows and rack beds. I don't care for the Excel class ships either, but there's always more than just two kinds of fruit, always.
