hi guys! i would love to know what you think of these longer tutorials where I cover doing eyes and my base :) do we like? should i do them more often? or should i just do a mix of these and shorter tutorials that just cover eye makeup? any feedback is appreciated, i make these videos for you
I’m 55, and I’ve watched multiple hooded eye tutorials. I’m glad to have come across your page because you explain in a way I can understand, and I can do my eyes better than I’ve ever been able to. Thank you, I’ll keep following you.
your channel is a godsend thing! I never liked makeup because my eyes didn't look like most of the tutorial creators and so the looks would never work on me. Your tutorials are the first ones that actually are working and where I like the look on myself
I'm so happy I found your channel via UA-cam Shorts! 🥺 I have hooded eyes and it is always a struggle for me to try new makeup types, especially if they require complex shades like blue, red and others, 'cause I can't blend them properly due to hooded eye. Thanks to you I finally understand how to work with my eyes. Looking forward to try this makeup already ❄️💙
So glad I found this channel. Like I have the weirdest combination of... facial features(?) I had big, hooded eyes with like only a little space between my lid and eyebrow and I just always chose not to do eye makeup because I didn't know what to do. The UA-cam algorithm was on my side for once with recommending your channel💛💛💛
Hey! I love your videos so much, it’s so difficult to find hooded eye tutorials that aren’t just “for older eyes” where the looks are very plain, yours are so fun . Would you ever do tutorials/ include tips to adapt the looks for people whose brows aren’t so high at the tail? I can see you’ve shaved the end to make more space and it looks great, but I’m way too scared to do that myself and it means I can’t really fit the end of the eyeshadow in and I can’t work out how to adapt for that? I hope that makes sense xx
yeah actually that's a good idea! i could always draw my tail down on my brows, how they would naturally grow and do a tutorial like that!! happy you found me though and you enjoy the vids :) 🤍
Hey girlie! Thanks for the content! I myself am a hoodie and reeeeeally appreciate your dedication to us! I have a question... I've noticed you say , when doing the tape thing to make it as straight as possible. Why is that? I think I usually try to do my shadow at an angle between outer eye and brow, in theory hoping it gives some lift.. I am not necessarily attached to this, so am interested in why you suggest going straight out ..
its because usually when you go up, you end up getting those weird shapes underneath the "hood" part when it comes to doing liner, so its easier going straight out. plus, i think going straight out gives a more snatched look. second point is personal preference, but overall i think it mostly just helps with applying the products!
I came across ur channel by accident but I like to consider it fate lol. I'm learning a lot frm other videos too but yours more closely match up with my type of hooded eyes so ur tutorials are really great. I like the mix of long n short videos. My hood goes down really close to the outer corner of my eye so the straight technique u do works best for mostly avoiding going so high up over the hood plus helps elongate my eyes. Love ur videos n glad I came across them. U have a new sub 😊.
Hi, please, please, please take this as the kindest constructive feedback, because I have really enjoyed your tutorials here on UA-cam and want you to keep going and grow, but it would be super helpful if you would show all the products you use (like you do with the eyeshadow). Just like with eyeshadows I often will look at the tones of blushes and highlighters, even contour and bronzers and try to match the products used in tutorials to what I have, but I can only do that if it gets shown as the tones are going to show up different on your skin than what they look like in pan. Also, the sync of the voice with the picture was off, which wasn't that bad because a lot of the tutorial was up close eye. On the positive I love that you make sure your looks work for hooded eyes, we have similar slightly hooded eyes, and I love that you take inspiration from others but put your own twist on that gives them a slight grunge/punk twist. Other 'cold girl' looks are way to Frozen ice princess for my aesthetic but this looks cold girl, but not princessy. Keep it up.
hi! okay lemme go point by point here :) 1. i'll keep that in mind! sometimes i don't show them because i either forget to do the product shots or the packaging is gross or something bc i've had it for so long LMAO but I will try my best to get better product shots and do more of them! 2. with the voice sync - i think its a youtube mobile issue. i see what you mean when i watched it on my phone which is so weird? because its completely fine on my computer! but i'm glad you enjoyed the video over all - thank you for giving kind feedback, thats always appreciated and encouraged :)
