what are the dimensions of this when completed. I am trying to make a 90 x 90 inch blanket for a dear friend of mine and need to know how much yarn to purchase.
This shawl is small 62in is the longest side and the triangle goes down from the middle to the tip 24 in. This stitch is a yarn Eater. 90x90 in is a queen size blanket. According to my math you will need about 8 pounds of yarn. I might be wrong though. You can try to crochet a small piece and weigh it and do the math from there. Even if you block it doesn’t grow much, just the scales lay flatter. Let me know what would you do.
@@spoiledwitch82 Now I understand. Usually when you come back and try it again it clicks. I have a tutorial about a bag with the same stitch which you can check and see how the logic behind that stitch goes. About being a beginner, the good thing is that you are not a beginner for a long time, you get better with every stitch. Keep up the good work! what are the dimensions of the shawl when you are finished?
The longest side is 62 inches. The triangle downwards is 24 inches. And I used two balls of yarn only.
This is beautiful but definitely too fast for beginner friendly
