So let me get this straight....it was so dirty you wanted to clean it in the garage.....and the Ferrari is in that garage?
Subtle Greg.....subtle! ;)
Don't forget the cars on the driveway too...
@@kevinryan3096 that's it, subtle badge bragging. I wonder if he'd have done that if it was a 95 Taurus in there!!! Ha ha
@@sleepingwarrior4618 as sublte as a nuclear missile in a firework store lol
Ferrari belongs to his wife...lol
@@jostkalo yea, lol...she has "the proper job", ha ha ha
subtle flex w the rari but ok
Lol he wanted to shoot on the garage on purpose to flex on us
to be fair if i had a ferrari i wouldn't miss a chance to flex it
The PC cleaning business is very lucrative.
Subtle? Lol
I mean he put in the hard work to get his ferrari so if i was him id flex the shit out of it
When he said " I am out here in my garbage " just needed knowledge
He DID have a Ferrari behind him and some... racks so, you know, close enough
Spam bot in replies lol
here in my garage with this lamborghini
he even looks like him a little
A boot SSD, even a 128gb one would have been a sufficient and most welcome upgrade for this PC!
Pro Tip: You'll Run Out of Hard Drive Space very quickly/w Windows 10! 250Gb Minimum Recommended!
He be like: omg greg upgrades things, i have an old computer. Greg be like: lets not upgrade anything.
Lol unlucky last client for the end season.. But at least he/she got a free deep cleaning!
@@romella_karmey like they cant do it themselves ?
@@gamingbigfilipp the point of the show is not upgrading, the person obviously wasnt doing it themselves
@@romella_karmey he tried...but c'mon, grabbing the old PC in the storage was too obvious.
My PC would be much more plausible, since my 1080ti died just before the 3000 series came out and I still cannot get one, I've been using a ancient AMD with 256mb just so i can browse the internet and UA-cam and I not even want a free card, just want MSRP.
Greg… I’m a huge fan from Mozambique, Africa. Your videos help me a lot in my side business.
Check out Louis Rossmann and learn Apple motherboard repair
Make it 2 huge fans from Mozambique
I religiously watch this series when I see it come up in my notifs lol. Keep it up!
same
Yeah same 👌
Nice car Greg, cars and pc's are both so elegant. I love your taste!
Thanks man!
I like when the original case is preserved. It's what accumulates most of the grime, especially immediately visible grime.
Hey Greg, you can show a Before and after "benchmark" of the PC's. I mean, at least the thermals, to really showcase what a good Deep Clean can do to improve your system! Great series so far, keep it comin'!
just like Carey Holzman! Go Greg! When cleaning parts in the sink, use the kitchen sink. most kitchens have a hand sprayer and this works great for cleaning heat sinks and fans... plus you have more work space... love the PSU shown... so easy to service... I hate the ones where the fan is soldiered on to the board... really hard to clean...
just here in my garage with a dirty pc
The music selection is so good. Not enough mention the music selection for your deep cleans. Looking forward to season 3 and whatever you got lined up. BTW that Ferrari is gorgeous. ❤️
You’ve outdone yourself with this one! I especially like that you didn’t go the easy route and upgrade anything. I was so happy to see this notification pop up. Can’t wait for season 3!
yea but how is this system still working from 2009?
@@xcen1 do you expect pcs to stop working after a period of time suddenly?
@@LuckyDucky1122 yes it depends on wear like a car. Cars have mileage and computers also ha well mileage but it's not written Down. If you look at certain PC components ssd have a lifetime read / write cycle. If the owner only turns it on once a week or month then it will last very long time. If you use it everyday hours at a time then the psu will fail first. That much dust on this old PC at this time isn't that heavily used. I'm guessing the psu will fail soon
@@gabrielr1139 how much do you use the PC, daily, weekends?
OMG no way this is the same pc! Another flawless work Greg. Can't wait to the next season, I learn a lot from this series. A hug from Brazil!
Awesome series that is totally applicable to any time, but *especially* now. I love learning new tricks to cleaning and/or just watching the grime turn to shine. Really great stuff, you're my most watched and favorite tech channel right now.
I watch every episode, i have a similar system to this one. Only difference is i use an ssd to boot from, never lets me down with office work and downloading movies.
Great video as always.
Effing love this series and the Fix or Flop.
Take whatever time you need for S3.
Thank you, Greg!
Yep FoF is awesome AF.
great video as usual Greg! love both of your playlists for PCDC and Fixing broken PCs!
These are two of the most satisfying series I've seen; both the cleaning and the troubleshooting are great!! Please keep at it!
PCDC is definitely my favorite series. Its really satisfying and interesting seeing old different hardware too.
I love all ASMR things like deep cleaning ASMR and food ASMR
@@romella_karmey you're vile
Might be somewhat cynical to say so but with the age of the components I can't help but wonder whether the owner was hoping for a cheeky card swap or something to that effect. Certainly a cleaning on its own would be a remarkable performance boost though!
Hate to think that way but same
Everyone sending their stuff in with lower range gear is at least somewhat hoping for that, but I doubt its the sole reason they are doing it. This pc has not played any modern game in a long time.
Exactly what I was thinking 🤣
People try to be slick as well in the fix or flop episodes and purposely try to damage an older component so that they can get a newer replacement. Trying to take advantage of Greg's generosity.
@@patrickgrady7505 I'm still genuinely new to PC building (fun though!) so don't have an eye for that sorta thing but hopefully more experienced builders are well able to tell when things are deliberately botched as opposed to dying through happenstance. Blergh
Love the simple fact that your this humble! Porsche owner and a Ferrari , but your out here cleaning peoples Pc’s for free. In times Upgrading for free. Keep it up ! God bless you
Really enjoy these videos! Thanks for uploading them regularly!
You're an inspiration man! I started cleaning my build after you started this series.
Seeing what to do to each part, what you can and can't do, the right tools, everything, is just super nice.
Keep up the good work!
when you have to do weekly it gets annoying I already started disliking the process
@@Gamingtechgg But you don't have to do it weekly lmao. I clean the filters once a month, and the pc entirely once each 3 months with a little brush and dust blower. Now deep cleaning, I did once this year, and I think and I gonna wait for another 1 to 2 years or so to do it again. You just have to maintain bro.
@@Huaie I got major problems with dust still accumulating, haven't figured how it is happening so quickly yet. Used my compressor on the radiator that dust was sick lol
@@Gamingtechgg Mine had this problem too, but in my case, it was because all of my fans was in max rpm and the exaust fans are faster than the intake fans, wich means negative pressure. My pc would get dirty in just a few days! Since I change my cpu cooler, I also did change the profile to a much slower rpm. And now dust takes a long time to build up.
@@Huaie I got my fans on 500rpm only intake is from top with x3 fans, dust is coming from main road. I suspect I might change my case
viewer: yay i have an old ass pc. ill make an entry to have an free cleaning and upgrade. greg: "lets not upgrade anything on this one" XD
honest cant upgrade much, its all OLD parts so it qould require a new motherboard, CPU, then graphics card. at most he could upgrade the hard drive but really anything else would require WAYYY too much investment
I love your videos man, keep up the good work and make the videos informative yet short and simple, these series' which you do are just amazing, KEEP UP THAT GOOD WORK
This playlist is very helpful and educational man !!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
Love both series. I think if you did some cheap, simple upgrades on the deep cleans like a 240gb sata ssd on this one for example. Then a small benchmark after if possible.
It’s fun to see these older rigs benched on older games like Duke ran on em 😌
That's a dirty lad.
Great work Greg , looking you in fix or flop or deep cleaning I learning a lot , how maintenance the PC in general , waiting for more of your videos. Good luck 🤞 for next season.
Very satisfying. Amazing how you know how to put all these old components back together after completely dismantling them
Nice cars man, hope to meet you one day … great guy.
The only thing this build needs for an office PC (and would breathe life into it) would be just a 100 gb SSD.
Better get a 240 ssd as the price difference isnt big
Yeah, this definitely need a 240ssd and maybe change that cpu stock cooler for slightly better one since old processors tend to be litle loud
Greg, you're living out my dream, I swear. Getting to work with old hardware like this and clean it is awesome, and I only recently got to clean this old-ish pc I got from a pawn shop for my brother, and I thought I broke it initially.. Turns out the power cable just stopped working for whatever reason, had a few replacements though so he's got a starting gaming pc now =)
But yeah, much love, and thanks for the work you put in for these videos, man! Great content.
Beside that it is "nice to see", both of those series are very educational, especially for those who build their PCs for the first time. That's why I love them, and we keep asking for more.
Thank you Greg for inspiring and educating in a less covered topic of PC building (and maintenance).
Ah, the 1035T, I love that cpu. Ive built budget pcs with that cpu all the way back in 2015 before AVX was really required for most games, and the ones that did require it I just used Intel SDE as an external executable to get the game to run
Lol but I hear more "this here, is another viewer's broken gaming pc" than "this here, is another viewer's dirty gaming pc" these days😂
Another fantastic PCDC. Great job Greg!
These videos are surprisingly relaxing to watch.
i always wonder where dust eventually goes when you blow it outside? like it gets eaten by animals or some sht?
Whatever the particles of dust are made out of get decomposed in their own way. Skin cells would get eaten by bacteria, metal shaving dust would go into the soil, break down and get used by plants or something etc.
Keyword - diluted 😅
Nice Ferrari bro
This series sooth's my ocd, both amazing videos and people who make them💯🥇
This is easily my favourite Tech series on UA-cam!
Great work Greg :)
Greg: Ahh, neighbour is mowing the lawn, I apologize guys.
Neighbour: Where is all this dust coming from..?
jk love your videos Greg
Hey Greg,
I am a car guy, and i am really curious as to what your ferrari is. Is it an f12, a lusso, 458? Btw do you still have your Porsche?
Oh, and great video as always. :)
Thanks
Your videos are like an ASMR for me and it helps me from my anxiety thanks Greg
This pc dc videos did inspire me and teach me a lot of how to clean and manage things on pc , so i decided to clean my pc since i can't send it to you because am from africa and the result made me happy by how the temps goes down and how bad was my cpu cooler and i did fix some messing things on my pc , thnk u a lot Greg from Algeria
Time to scrap this computer and build/buy a new one. Hardly worth cleaning.
Greg, I'm going to have to agree with TechThat. I've watched every PCDC video and I will be waiting for Season 3 to start. Another awesome video.
Great clean Greg, also loving the music in this series too 🔊🎶💙
Starting off with the good old Carey Holzman leaf blower method. I approve :) ... Starting off with the leaf blower then disassembly into electric duster "pre-clean" in the garage might be a good way to keep the majority of dust from ending up in the office. No need to breathe it in if you don't have to, atleast the majority of it
Brilliant! So happy we got a new episode
I love that the ferrari logo is right side up
I love this DC series. It's so therapeutic watching a pc go from grungy to nice and clean again.
Nice video Greg, Love this series!😁
Great video. Nice job on the cleaning.
*Love the Fix or Flop Series! Please make more videos on that series!*
Casual Porche in the background. LIKE A BOSS ! you did an upgrade after all.
This one is one of the best. Such a satisfying conclusion. Great work as usual.
Always amazed at how clean u get these filthy pcs. Soooo satisfying!!!
So good, this clean, especially without upgrades. Goes to show that old PCs can still be relevant these days with the right care, and using it for what it's capable for.
Thanks awesome PCDC as always!
Im enjoying watching deep cleaning, its so satisfying
This is your best work so far in this deep cleaning series.
Man you make the content that everyone loves, I never miss these episodes!🤙
I find these Deep Clean videos so relaxing.
Really enjoying this series keep them going, 🙂
Cant wait for next seasons/projects!
Really GJ for the good work, pls keep it simple and satisfying!
And, as an Italian guy, i have to appreciate the Ferrari in your garage 👌
Greetings!
Cars and Computers! My two favorite things. Keep it up, Man! Love your videos!!!
Enjoyed your video mate keep up the amazing work
These videos are fun to watch. :-)
As it happens, today I cleaned one of my computers (a "general usage" veteran, with an i5-3450 and 4 GB of DDR3-RAM - running LMDE4, no Windows 11 for this oldie).
It didn't have much dust in it, but the thermal paste was all dried up (but the machine still ran fine).
I love your video you are the honest youtuber ! Loved that
Wow that first leaf blowing was very satisfying!
You are brilliant thanks for the show
Hey Greg, after months of watching PCDC I decided to teardown my own PC and deep clean it. Though I cleaned my PC every 6 months a deep clean was neccessary due to the dusty environment I live in. My temps dropped by over 10C on the GPU and my CPU temps are around 60C during gaming. Thank you for providing us the knowledge and tools required for the cleaning.
P.S: I will continue watching PCDC just for the satisfaction on seeing the end result.
Such a chill video to watch
Just found the series and its so memorizing. Fellow Orlandoian checking in. Great videos keep it up.
Excited for season 3! Keep up the good work!
Great work M8.Love your videos
This was so satisfying to watch.
That was a joy to watch. I'm much more surprised by the fact that was an NZXT case. Didn't expect to see an one that does not restrict airflow.
Like watching these before I head to sleep. Clears the mind
This is crazy to see. My first full pc build was in 2011 with a Phenom 2 cpu, Asus 970 motherboard, and EVGA gtx 570. Looks so similar.
Been watching these since the beginning and they are so satisfying and relaxing with the music. Also just noticed your wedding ring has The One Ring inscription. Nice! My wife got me a ring with the Stargate address for Earth. XD
Thanks for another great video Greg
I have this same case! Absolutely love it, and I've gotten so many compliments over the years. Apparently it is reasonably rare and hard to find now. Glad you kept it for this one.
EDIT: It is the NZXT Vulcan if anyone stumbles across this comment.
Pretty badass! That handle is dope
I hope S3 comes out soon because it's so satisfying everytime I watch Greg just clean those dirty PCs.
Excellent video once again. Interesting idea for next season, but if the console clean up is lacking in projects to film, Cleaning up PCs is still an option, especially if you hook it up with a "New Case" spec'd and chosen by you, so we can all learn from what choices you make for each application. In my case, I require a ton of IO both front and back. I need access to USB-C and at least 2 of the drives that can be removable for remote safe keeping with back ups. Each owner may have things they want to keep, like a DVD reader/writer, so finding cases that can support these oddities might add a bit of interest to the project.
I have learned a TON of good info. Especially in the cable management side. So I eagerly watch both of your series since you cable manage everything that comes into the site. Thanks, and keep it up.
Great job Greg! 👍👍
Ey! Good morning greg it's already 2am here in the philippines but i will watch this before i sleep 😆
Hope you enjoy it!
Awesome video, reminds me of my first gaming pc, found it in the garbage, with the same 550ti and amd combo. Took it apart, cleaned it and changed the mobo
Absolutely love this series! Can't wait to see what comes up in season 3. Consoles would definitely be a welcome addition; they need cleaning too!
Kinda surprised you said the fix or flop series has been doing better lately. I'm really not as interested in that one.
Just please don't lose this series I really enjoy it as others that I know, but I also know you can't keep it on if there are problems that come up with it thanks for the enjoyment so far.
Greg is the most humble tech youtuber out there. Dude drives a Ferrari and lives in a nice house yet doesn't make people pay for this. What a guy
Hair looks great man!
Great video as always
Nice way to finish off the season. I found the leaf blower and PSU cleaning particularly satisfying to watch. Question after the front panel cables get wet: how do you dry them after to make sure there is no moisture when you rebuild it?
I love this series of videos. You literally turn PCs that look like they belong in the trash to a brand new (old) looking system. Can’t wait for season 3! I still find these vids very interesting.
G'day Greg & Pepsi,
Now I understand why you have the 'You shouldn't open a PSU' warning, I almost Died of Shock when you opened this one, because of how dirty it was 😱
This one was a PCDCFoF, Came up really nice after some love & fixed the problem by adding Mobo Standoffs too 👌
You doing a good job doing this and also for free, and it's just having the build for a few days is already a good compromise for a labor that has professional standard is entertaining and people also learn things here on what and what not to do with their "baby". So kudos and can't wait for S3.
These episodes are my work remedy
