Last scene has a little italian easter egg: on the tv we can se Trading Places, a movie that became a Christmas tradition in Italy for no apparent reason.

Ikea is from Sweden. And there are a lot of jokes in Hebrew in Swedish and in Latin. My favourite song for Christmas.
So much multilingual punning! For example, Shema Yggdrasil is based on Shema Israel, a Jewish prayer, but using the Viking world-tree Yggdrasil instead. And the Old Testament-New Testament contrast but applied to Odin is really clever, then there's all the Swedish references...it just goes on. This is still my favourite of theirs though _Pasadena_ _1994_ comes close, and both are huge fun live.
In case nobody mentions it, after releasing this they actually did a tour of Italian Ikeas, unannounced. Sometimes they were thrown out, sometimes they weren't. That's the kind of band they are!
for non italian speakers at 7:58 the "Falegn - Amen" joke , Falegname is the italian word for carpenter .

Love your reaction! The last video by NoS is called Pasadena 1994 and it is featuring Joakim Brodén of Sabaton. It is about the Fifa soccer finale between Brazil and Italy. Nanowar were first founded as a spoof band to Manowar.

During the guitar solo he's dressed as Pippi Longstocking which is a Swedish fictional Charcater created by Astrid Lindgren, I know that there are some countries outside of Scandinavia that knows about her and maybe got the refference

That is by far the best song so far today.
As a few side notes here. Systembolaget is a state-owned chain of stores here in Sweden and the only place you can buy alcoholic drinks.
Both Amon Amarth (melodic death metal with a heavy inspiration from the Viking era) and Hammerfall (heavy/power metal) are Swedish metal bands.
Btw Pasadena 1994 is their only serius song ever.

@@jurayneskazu64 The song per se is just a SPOILER (commentary to a soccer final). Something you could discuss with a friend at the bar. It has some exaggeration but it's not actually goofy as could have been.

@@micmac274 I get what you say, but those are songs with funny plots. Pasadena is something (as stated by NoS) we italian people take very seriously. And the grieve for the match is still deep in out hearts.
It may have a "funny" video, but the song per se has not a single joke (some exaggerations maybe, but not so much).

As you guys asked for a suggestion for Amon Amarth (one of my favorite bands) i would suggest Twilight of the thunder god (which is pretty old, but still good), Guardians of Asgard or maby The way of the vikings
No, the gods were not giants, they were like normal people with flaws and all. Just a tad bit more magical. There were giants, however, the Jotun. One place is the Norwegian mountains is even called Jotunheimen, meaning home of the giants.
Thor, son of Odin in the Nordic mythology. Gods that people in the nordic countries belived in 1000 years ago.
