Part 2/2 of the story of Serena McKay who was brutally beaten to death and had her murder posted to Facebook. Only two people were charged but how many more were responsible?

My friend was raised to adult court (being age 16) after he killed an immigrant muslim man who was ten years older than he was at the time of the stabbing, and he received a life sentence. His background is full aboriginal. Now in his 40's, he is out full parole until he dies after having served 10 years at Stony Mountain penitentiary. It just makes me wonder how a 17 year old only gets 3 years for basically the same crime except the victim is an aboriginal girl/woman.
