I am prepping for a rescape on my largest tank and I wanna do a setup very similar to this but I'm doing it on a tight budget, apart from a 3d background that I totally lied about the price of 🤐
I've gathered alot of rocks, and just ordered Vallisneria Gigantea and Nana + Hydrocotyle Tripartita Japan and Saggitaria Subulata to set in a holding tank (and propagate). I'm going to put aquasoil in mesh bags and put them on top of crushed lavarock, then cover it all with a mix of sand and fine gravel.
In the holding tank I also have 2 tiny bristlenose plecos and a swarm of neon tetras, I plan to pick up a small pack of reticulated hillstream loaches aswell and maaaybe some kuhli loaches to dig around in the substrate but I cant really think of any centerpiece fish that would fit so I may just not have any 😂

In germany it is just called big river gravel.
