Hey I set a definite date with this girl over the phone.. then I confirmed with her the day before by saying hey what’s up. Still good to link up tomorrow… so what your saying is don’t confirm w her and that is too passive ?
The truth is most dating advice is extremely cryptic and actually hogwash. People are different, have different schedules, different ways of communicating. You aren't going to find a magic 'Up, Down, Left, Right, B, A, Start' Cheat Code to all women. My advice is, outside of badgering her/him incessantly like a stalker, just do whatever feels natural. If you are curious to know if you are still on for your date, shoot her a message and fuckin ask her. Don't sit in suspense, tearing your hair out, and wondering what the hold up is because you're playing some juvenile game and you wanna seem cooler than you are. Just get on the horn and confirm the fuckin plans. If she says yes, then cool. Start looking forward to a fun date. If she bails, then the world hasnt ended. Just find something else fun to do on that day, maybe call up another friend to hang with. All these little games do is perpetuate the mistake of building a person or situation up in your head to be bigger than they should be. I write this because this is advice that I too have needed to hear in the past. Go with your gut, think about what you know about this person and what they'll respond well to and above all, just be who you are, stop trying to be cool. You just end up stressed and that should not be the point of any kind of social interaction, let alone dating.
That is a bad advice. If date is on, just be there and enjoy. If she cancels without another offer delete the number. I have woman sms me to confirm, what do I say. I ll see you in a place and time we meet, good night. That's all. That actually told me she is into me. She said *I was afraid you ll not make it* that also told me she thought about me all 4 days...

Don’t do 3 days notice… the day before AND the day of (maybe an hour before you leave the house).
If you set up a date on Wednesday and you’re seeing her on sunday then try to text her every other day until (again) the day before and the day of. What should you send? Send a mixture of something funny, tease, normal convo. If she responds quickly that’s a great sign but if she takes longer and longer and you know her schedule, don’t panic, take a deep breath, don’t get butt hurt, play it cool then confirm day before and the day of with something simple. If she doesn’t respond then you can assume that it’s off
You wouldn’t flake on a $10k so she’s not that interested! Don’t spend ya money on her
