Old waterfowler here and moved to SC in 2020 from VA, even if you arent seeing geese use maybe a dozen goose floaters, ducks have seen every decoy spread from canada to Louisiana , they seem more relaxed around goose decoys in my experience. I live near the waccamaw, its ducky lookin water but cant get out there. Happy shootin guys
It’s tough here for sure and like you, only a few people know where I am at most days. I went out of state and killed more birds on 3 hunts then I did the entire season in the Santee lake system.
We know EXACTLY how y’all feel. Atlantic Flyway is tough hunting. We’re hunting a healthy private marsh on tidal water and have 3 ducks to show for it. Glad to know we’re not the only ones on the struggle bus. Good vid!!
Beaufort county local here…. You aren’t missing much on the coast right now. A handful of grey ducks around, some mottleds and chicken mallards etc… let’s hope it picks up with this weather system pushing through. Most likely won’t, but hey what else can we hope for at this point 😂
I hunt the midlands of SC and feel your pain 100%. Still rather be out than laying in bed though. I thought I had it rough hunting in Texas before I moved here last year.
Come up to NC and hunt with me man, I’ve got the drop on some Mallards and gadwall. Plenty of woods and teal around at the moment too. I hunt Public near the coast on pamlico and Neuse rivers
@@PalmettoFowlHabit and now with the weather like it is…..we’ll we still got 30 days…..hollar at me one day and let’s hit the swamp if nothing else we will cook some biskits

You right, can’t kill ‘em from home. It’s been rough though and this warm weather ain’t helping
Hey man, do you ever hunt the wateree river? I hear there are ducks there
I don't, never even tried it
I live a few miles from Wateree and it’s no different there then the rest of our public waters. Limited number of birds and ALOT of pressure.
Wood ducks flying good on Big Pee Dee river in Florence county.
