Let’s make a Christmas Folio - part 1- Constructing the Base

- Hello! This is part 1 of a series creating a Christmas Folio from a file folder.. I hope you will enjoy following along! In this part we will construct the base and cut out all the pieces for the folio. I will explain how it will all come together.

We will be creating this same folio except I will be changing it up a bit with some new papers. I will be using papers from my Christmas digital kits in my Etsy shop.. you can find them at the link below.
You can use any papers and trims you like to create one of your own!

I’ve watched all the videos in this series ❤ getting ready to make one myself ❤ Love the folio! Journal newbie here, so when you say ‘tea stained’ you mean soak the folders in tea? Won’t that weaken the paper?

Well this is so much fun! However, I ran out of manila file folders and found a random orange one. I made front pocket part out of that. Will that be hidden with papers or do I need to find another manila one?
We will be covering it .. but it will become a pocket so you might see inside so maybe cover the whole thing to use? Glad you are having fun!
