I had full on anxiety when you were doing the stretches. The first run back will make it all worth it I'm sure 🤞👌🏃‍♂️

@@TheRunningWhale 😂. Sorry about that! I felt the same doing them 😱. But it wasn’t that bad. Strange how certain movements are ok and others aren’t. Darn frustrating. Sometimes I think ah, it’s improving. Then I’ll sit down and get up and think crikey that’s taken my breath away 🥹. This may be slow progress. But we remain positive 🫡

I'm no expert when it comes to heavy lifts, but my physio advised me to keep low rep max sessions for the big composite lifts separated by at least 2 weeks. He said there is research to suggest that those really big heavy lifts can take up to 10 days to completely recover from. Potentially this might link into you theory about why you got injured.
Hope you make a speedy recovery and get back to running soon (and thankyou for the sub 👌)

@@TheRegularRunner interesting; thanks. I’m pretty sure that’s what I did - consecutive heavy intensity with an aging creaky body 😖. I think I’m still in my 30s. 😂
